12/07/2026: Excellent family run restaurant above Domodossola, big terrasse which is the best spot to spend some hours enjoying the seafood oriented surprise menu or a la carte dishes. Excellent wines, affordable prices and wonderful staff. Worth even a longer trip to get there.

12/01/2026: While searching for a restaurant in Domodossola, I came across this lovely restaurant-pizzeria. It was a lovely evening, with good food, good wine, and good service. Prices were fair for the quality, and it was free of all the gourmet frills and Michelin-starred-style frills. Don't be put off by the unusual name (it was the name of the previous brewery the owners ran), the location (it's in a sort of alley), and even if the waiters ignored you when you entered (the room was full, but we were ignored for five minutes). My beef cheek was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes and tapas nabour were balanced and flavorful, my wife's vitello tonnato was very well cooked (pink in the center) with the sauce served on the side, and the bread and milk tart was very simple but delicious. The waitress was friendly but not intrusive and always gave us excellent advice, and the owner was kind and smiling. A distinctive touch: two MV Augustas are on display in the restaurant. I haven't tried the pizzas, which seem very thin and crispy. Well done! I'll definitely be back when I pass through Domodossola again.

18/07/2026: I really liked this restaurant. From the first minute it felt like we were visiting old friends we hadn't seen for a long time. The hospitality of the staff is top notch. The food is delicious, next time we will come to this family restaurant again.

24/04/2026: We stopped at this pub for an aperitivo. The beer was really, really good. A unique flavor. The mixed Ossalonian cured meats we ordered were a delicacy. The staff were really friendly and knew how to best recommend the beer. Thank you so much!

30/07/2026: Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for their musical entertainment and stand-up comedy, the service is anything but standard in the area, if not unique. Wide selection of refreshments. Francesca, the bartender, is highly knowledgeable and an excellent bartender, with a wealth of experience that extends from her work to the customer. I definitely recommend a visit, even just to enjoy the outdoor space in the heart of Domodossola!

13/07/2026: The price-performance ratio is simply superb. The spaghetti alle vongole is down-to-earth and delicious, and the lunch menu is excellent at €18. It's a two-course meal, and the service is fantastic, just as I expect in Italy. A waitress who doesn't quite remember who ordered the wine, but she knows who did (glass of red wine?) and, lo and behold, the guest raises their hand like a schoolboy. Hotel recommendation: perfect service with a concierge experience – all in all, a truly memorable dining experience. This is how it should be.

25/05/2026: Delicious pizza, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. The only downside is that it's noisy in the evening. On the other hand, that means there's a lot going on!

02/06/2026: We were in Domodossola for a one night stay before a connecting train and chose Eurossola as my husband has a severe pet allergy and they don’t accept dogs. Wow! What a beauty of a hotel! The staff were super friendly (especially with our practically none existent Italian), the decor of the hotel was absolutely fabulous and completely unique, the room was very clean, comfortable and quiet and we had a lovely breakfast sat outside in the sunshine. The hotel is literally opposite the station and we enjoyed a walk exploring Domodossola. Thank you all for such a short but great stay! Would highly recommend! Oh and I should say that the glass of Prosecco I had was divine! 🥂

27/05/2026: We returned to Rome today after spending two nights at this delightful hotel. We had two rooms on the third floor. Book here with confidence, you won't go wrong! Excellent location for those who, like us, want to take the Centovalli train to Locarno. We had a wonderful time, thank you for everything!

01/02/2026: We went for an aperitif🍹: a very popular place, super friendly staff, but the real gem is the wines🍾... they even offer a free tasting of a single glass 🍷... something rare and much appreciated! All accompanied by a gourmet taglierini😋... not the usual chips! 🔟 and praise!
