15/12/2025: EXTRAORDINARY PRICES!!! A cup of herbal tea is €3.90. That includes water and a tea bag. Pure madness. I was devastated and will never go back.

25/01/2026: I had a great time. Excellent food. Super-fast service. Welcoming atmosphere. I had the pumpkin ravioli with PGI Speck and almonds, excellent!!!!! If you're in the area or at the Le Isole DI Gravellona Toce shopping center, I recommend it. Mary

19/11/2025: Good food as always, kind and helpful staff, BUT THERE IS ONE THING that really bothers me, are the often dirty trays, it's unacceptable.

10/11/2025: A recommended stop for the foliage train, located in the center of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore, it's an unpretentious place, with a selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses!

24/01/2026: The pizzas were decent, but nothing special. The shrimp one in particular had an unpleasant, almost aquarium-like flavor. The prices, unfortunately, are significantly higher than other pizzerias in the area, even more renowned, elegant, and gourmet ones. The bill was the same, if not higher, than at higher-end establishments. The bitters, at €5 each, are excessive, and when I asked for a takeaway, I was charged the same price. Overall, the pizzeria is acceptable, but the quality of the ingredients and pricing definitely need rethinking. I definitely wouldn't return, given the value for money.

20/02/2026: We didn't like the hotel very much. The rooms were outdated, the service was rude, and the breakfast left much to be desired. Considering the price, I found that very disappointing.

30/12/2025: Great place! We stayed for one night but found the welcome warm and friendly. Check-in was quick, and the owners were very kind and helpful. The room, although it may seem small (a quadruple), had everything you needed. The room and bathroom were clean. The restaurant service was excellent, with very attentive waiters, good food, and generous portions. We recommend it and will definitely be back! Even though it has one star, it deserves more!

15/09/2025: I was there this summer with my partner and my 2-year-old daughter. The place has potential, but it's a shame the owner isn't very friendly (to say the least).

09/03/2026: Terrible experience with Hotel Dufour. Today I tried to contact the hotel seven times in the afternoon, from 1:16 PM to 5:24 PM, with no response. Not only did no one answer my calls, but I didn't even receive a callback or even a simple message saying I'd be contacted as soon as possible. I fully understand that there can be busy times, but completely ignoring a guest for over four hours is behavior I find truly unprofessional. Even a brief message or callback would have been enough to demonstrate care and respect. This type of customer service unfortunately gives a very negative impression of the hotel's management. If this is how potential guests are treated even before booking, I can't imagine how the service is during their stay. A decidedly disappointing experience.

06/10/2025: Good hotel right on the square, friendly and helpful staff, they recommended what to see and where to eat, good breakfast.

24/08/2025: Great ice cream, huge selection, absolutely reasonable prices, and the portions are huge! There's an indoor and outdoor seating area, and there's a large parking lot right next door.

13/09/2025: I had lunch with friends today in this beautiful pizzeria restaurant. From the starters to the desserts, everything was really good. Everyone was really welcoming, plus it was wrapped in a postcard-like setting.

04/09/2025: Very nice location with a lake view. Tables are a bit cramped for four people. Friendly and fast staff. Extensive menu and good food. Prices are a bit high. There's also a children's menu.

04/10/2025: 45 euros for a bad pizza and overcooked pasta. A beer and a poorly made spritz. Avoid this touristy Arratape.

26/09/2025: The inviting and inviting atmosphere, overlooking the lake, reflects the restaurant's name, and the dynamic and helpful staff are equally impressive, offering delicious and interesting dishes at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back! Congratulations!

27/12/2025: We came in December 2025. It's a charming place, especially on the first floor where the sun shone through the window while it was freezing outside. The service was excellent, and the pizzas were fantastic. Each pizza costs on average between €7 and €15, depending on the pizza.

21/12/2025: Poor pizza, one of the worst I've ever eaten. The service was awful, meaning they didn't even put the pizza on the plate; they handed it to you, so you had to put it on yourself. Also, when I got to pay at the cash register, there were more than 10 of us, and they didn't want to charge us separately. Instead, they wanted us to pay the total divided by the number of us, which doesn't seem fair to me, and they insisted on doing so, ultimately forcing us to do so. Better, the skipper.

26/01/2026: Probably some time ago, the restaurant offered typical Piedmontese dishes and lake fish dishes. Nothing that's currently listed on the Google menu is actually on the restaurant's menu. There are four lake cuisine dishes: two appetizers and two first courses. That's it. The rest is all Neapolitan cuisine, or at least unrelated to the area. I tried two dishes from the lake menu. The mixed antipasto tastes good, but it's all drowned in oil. The salmon agnolotti are decent, but there are seven of them. Moral of the story: nothing spectacular, the portions are small. Prices are moderately high.

29/07/2025: Viajando con un grupo de 33 personas, cenamos en este atractivo restaurante anoche. Pasando por el comedor principal hacia atrás hay un comedor al aire libre con plantas y arbustos. El servicio fue rápido y eficiente. Empezamos con una ensalada mixta, que tenía muchos trozos de tomate. Lo siguiente fue muy buen risotto de hongos, y una galette de queso y espinacas. Me hubiera gustado tener algo de guarnición en el plato.

20/07/2025: Certo, non sarà il Grand Hotel Et Des Iles Borromees, ma se cercate un buon alberghetto tranquillo, in pieno centro a Stresa, a 3 minuti a piedi dal lago e dall'imbarcadero, con camere essenziali ma pulitissime e perfettamente insonorizzate con bagno con sanitari rinnovati, e letto supercomodo, il Fiorentino fa per voi. Molto gentili il signor Federico e i suoi collaboratori, pronti a soddisfare ogni necessità; convenzionale, ma con prodotti di qualità dolci e salati (veramente ottime le marmellate) la colazione, con bevande calde espresse direttamente dal bar. Prezzo nella norma. Possibilità di usufruire di un ottimo servizio ristorante (che ho già valutato positivamente in passato).

25/02/2026: Motorcycle ride, a little spot on the shore of Lake Maggiore with a view of Isola Madre. Excellent and plentiful food. Highly recommended, especially for motorcyclists! 🤙
