We had lunch there as a couple after visiting the Land of Cats. Highly recommended; the gnocchi with gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes were excellent! The staff was friendly, and the restaurant is pet-friendly.

As always... excellent food, prompt and friendly service, fair prices... we go there often from Varese... it's worth it and I highly recommend it.

A typical mountain trattoria with a stunning view of Lake Orta and the town of Omegna. Hearty dishes, and very friendly and helpful staff. If you like, you can visit the village, which is entirely dedicated to cats, with many paintings and dedications, and even a monument to the cat.

We had a drink here during our bike tour around the lake. Very old-fashioned/authentic. French restrooms, though spotlessly clean. There's no terrace with a view of the lake. Two older people run this restaurant. Many (mostly) older people came for lunch.

21/03/2026: Fantastic experience at the Lungolago restaurant! We ate divinely, but the real added value was the service. Special thanks to Nico, who looked after us with extreme professionalism and kindness: his suggestions on the dishes were spot on and made the evening perfect. We will definitely be back.

Break Café

23/09/2025: Don’t fall into the same trap I did. There are hundreds of shops, restaurants, cafés, and gelaterias on this island that do not exist on Google Maps or Tripadvisor! As someone who loves organising trips I planned everything in advance according to these sites - in the end we had quite a few underwhelming experiences. Enjoy the charm of the island and be spontaneous to get the most out of your trip here!
04/09/2025: We were looking for a place to get takeaway sandwiches that wasn't overpriced (which is very hard to find in Isola Bella) and stumbled upon this place. We were more than won over: the sandwiches were very good and fresh and the ice cream really delicious!
