06/01/2026: I've been coming back to this place for years. Despite my food intolerances, I always manage to find something suitable. The atmosphere is magical, romantic, and cozy, with the charm of a mountain retreat but with style and class. The prices are absolutely justified by the quality of the experience. The outdoor location, atop the hill, is simply breathtaking, surrounded by mountains. Returning is always a pleasure, and I always recommend it to our guests.

Due to internal policy (which is understandable), ask for a seat in the bar area instead of the restaurant.
The only flaw is that the table was set with placemats and paper napkins...
Excellent food and adequate service, always available to accommodate requests.
Priced appropriately for what you pay for: six courses and a bottle of wine for €100.

04/05/2026: This excellent family-run restaurant, in addition to classic Alpine dishes (polenta, stews, and cheeses), also offers traditional local dishes that are difficult to find in the area.
Worthy of note is the presence of goat on the menu, offered both stewed and in the form of typical sausages (cicitt), a rarity in the Italian restaurant scene.
The chef demonstrates a solid historical and ethnographic knowledge of local dishes, as well as her selection of wines, both local and international.
The presentations are simple yet refined, in keeping with the restaurant's identity.
Prices are slightly above average, but fully justified by the use of locally sourced (if not "zero meter") raw materials and the decidedly generous portions.
Desserts and bread are made in-house.
This restaurant is highly recommended.

07/08/2026: We spent one night at Antica Locanda Alpino in August 2026, on a half-board basis, with our two children.
We knew the bathrooms were shared, but we hadn't realized they were also used by restaurant patrons. Most importantly, we were subjected to a lot of noise until 2:00 a.m., which kept us awake after a long day of hiking.
The evening meal was good, but we found the breakfast very poor (no local products available).
We accepted the rustic nature of the establishment, but we expected more peace and quiet and comfort for an overnight stay.

29/07/2025: Personale gentile, cibo molto buono e prezzi convenienti. Peccato che eravamo solo di passaggio! Streghette appese ovunque, come nel resto del paese, molto caratteristico!
02/07/2025: Abbiamo assaggiato il caratteristico "risotto in forma" buono e abbondante e molto coreografico. Come antipasto gustose verdure grigliate e una bresaola di tacchino prodotta da una macelleria della zona. Molto validi anche i dolci. Buon rapporto qualita prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

Alpe Crampiolo

21/04/2025: Siamo venuti all'Alpe Crampiolo per una gita Pasquale fuori città, e ci siamo ritrovati in un piccolo paradiso. L'accoglienza di Fiore all'agriturismo è stata fantastica, ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Il cibo è praticamente tutto di loro produzione o fatto con prodotti locali, e sia la cena che la colazione sono state veramente ottime e soddisfacenti. In più la cornice in cui è inserita questa frazione della Val d'Ossola è veramente mozzafiato!
Non vediamo l'ora di riuscire a tornarci!
20/03/2025: Posto favoloso e accogliente il personale molto gentile e disponibile...e i piatti....mamma mia un esplosione di sapori pazzeschi tutto ma proprio tutto ottimo dai gnocchetti con fonduta dei loro formaggi alla polenta con tri di carne......lo stracotto si scioglieva in bocca....ah il prosciutto crudo affumicato spettacolare e per finire i dolci ..... veramente buoni..... BRAVISSIMI .... torneremo di sicuro

PIUTTOSTO,SE NON C'È POSTO DA ALTRE PARTI, UN PANINO!!! MA MAI QUESTO POSTO. LOCALE FREDDO,GNOCCO E TAGLIATELLE AL SUGO DA BRIVIDO, POLENTA CRUDA, TAPELUCCO SCHIFOSO... DOLCI CHE SEMBRA DI MANGIARE UN PANETTO DI BURRO, NEANCHE IL VINO ERA BUONO... COME ACETO. PAGATO UNA FOLLIA.. .NON CI ANDATE!
02/01/2025: Bravo à Fabio de pour sa cuisine sincère et authentique, c’est excellent ! L’accueil est chaleureux et montagnard, nous avons séjourné 3 nuits, salle de bains neuve et bien chauffées et grande chambre propre, simplicité authentique, bravo et a bientôt
Point de départ idéal pour la randonnée à ski ( local ski, chaussures etc, partez ski aux pieds)
