I come back at 2.30pm and... nothing so I had lunch now, with a brioche because being at the pool I didn't feel like a plate of pasta (it's also a bar), so if you come to the pool with the idea of ​​having a sandwich my advice is to bring food from home.

That said, although we had the opportunity to speak on the phone four times to arrange a birthday party for which we brought our own cake—four times to ensure everything was organized without inconvenience to us or the management—the latter didn't have the courtesy to inform us that they would charge us €24 for cutting a simple cake. Without questioning, as per the restaurant's policies, they would have made a better impression, and I would have been appreciated, if they had communicated this detail in advance, and not directly at the cashier during payment, without even specifying the cost but simply charging it. Unfortunately, a lovely evening was ruined by this detail.

19/08/2025: A place discovered by chance during a mountain getaway between Locarno and Domodossola. In addition to exploring the village with its impressive sanctuary, it was a culinary discovery that was unanimously appreciated by our six guests, including some young people who can sometimes be picky eaters. Amazing lasagna, delicious trout, and exceptional venison stew.

18/08/2025: We booked a triple room for Ferragosto, almost at the last minute, and despite the time of year, the price for one night was more than fair, including breakfast (at the partner bar next door). The building is relatively new, and it shows in the amenities it offers. The room was good, with adjustable air conditioning, a bathroom, and a small closet. Friendly staff. We booked to spend a couple of days in the mountains—Monte Rosa is about 30 minutes away—but it's also suitable for business travelers, as it's close to the Simplon highway, which connects to the A26.

29/07/2025: An unforgettable experience! Motel located between abandoned factories and a bus depot. The rooms were clean but dated, which is a compliment. The air conditioning didn't work, and the windows couldn't be opened due to the huge number of mosquitoes. We asked to bring our bike (sparkling clean) to the room, but they said no, instead having it put in a garage they called "sucuro"... The next morning we went downstairs and found the famous "sucuro" garage located at the back of this motel, completely open and unsupervised! Breakfast was at an adjacent bar, not very clean, but very casual.

17/08/2025: It's true that the place was almost closing, but: 1) we asked for two cookies and they brought us two cookies (baci di dama, so small); 2) we asked for two herbal teas and we were brought two cups with hot water and who knows what infusers. 3) the staff at a place like this should be a little kinder and more cheerful. So, either say you don't serve after a certain hour, or serve as your profession requires. But... Can you learn from criticism at all? Anyone who reads your reviews will certainly not have a good idea of your work.
