A small restaurant on Fisherman's Island with a small outdoor area at the back. Good service, reasonable prices, although portions are a bit small. The food is still good quality.

We sat in the upstairs room. The setting is extremely charming...on one side, the narrow street that crosses the island...on the other, a partial but splendid view of the lake...the service was quick and precise...the pizza was absolutely light, digestible, and above all, tasty. Fair prices...highly recommended.

The place itself is magical. If you then dine in front of a window with a beautiful view of the lake and the snow-capped mountains, add a warm and very helpful welcome and good quality food at fair prices, and the game is done.

While vacationing in Stresa, we visited Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen's Island), and since it was lunchtime, we stopped at this restaurant, drawn by the fact that several of the first courses were homemade. Excellent food, very kind and helpful staff, several dining rooms available, and the icing on the cake...cover charge is included in the price (which is quite a feat these days!). We're not big fans of lake fish, but we ordered two delicious first courses and the house dessert, lemon cake, an island specialty...a cloud of lemony freshness that's worth trying! Compliments to the chef...everything was delicious!
