09/04/2026: Food was not good at all. The polpo was rubbery and hard to chew.. The crispy prawns soggy. The lobster pasta overcooked. The beef cheeks were an absolute cheek - cold and absolutely tasteless !! We left more than half on the plates and told her it was cold - she was convinced it was delicious and just too much ( the waitress ) Will not revisit ! Not worth the drive - just for the food !! Totally disappointed- much better places in Domodossola

10/04/2026: I didn't stay at the hotel, but I did enjoy the restaurant service. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent. We started with an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, followed by their entree consisting of tongue in salsa verde, the classic Piedmontese veal with tuna sauce, and a Russian sauce all'ancienne, so called because it contained mustard seeds, like the French sauce of the same name: everything was truly excellent. To continue, we had the venison with polenta—soft, fragrant, and juicy—with a truly thick polenta, and a Tapulone (minced horse meat flavored with cabbage), also served with polenta. The large portions didn't allow us to try the desserts, which were otherwise very inviting. A genepy, a gentian, and a coffee rounded out a truly satisfying lunch, also thanks to the excellent table service, very proactive and never intrusive. While out for a stroll in the Ossola Valley for two, we spent €110 on a bottle of Barbera di Sizzano, truly refreshing and with just the right acidity to complement the hearty dishes we chose.

15/03/2026: We've been to this restaurant for lunch several times and have always enjoyed it. This was our first dinner here: we booked at the last minute and were greeted courteously around 9:00 PM. The dishes are carefully crafted and refined; you can sense the hard work and attention that goes into every dish. The plin were exceptional, and the boiled meat was simply perfect. This evening truly impressed me: every course completely satisfied me. It is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Macugnaga, with prices absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients.

08/04/2026: We went there for dinner during a visit to the city for the Christmas markets. Searching online, I found it recommended along with others, but in the end we chose this one. The restaurant consists of several rooms; the one where we dined is the largest and, I think, the oldest, as the decor is refined and elegant but not exactly modern. The room itself is worth a visit, as it's on the lower level and architecturally beautiful. But most importantly, I had a truly wonderful dinner; the appetizer and main course were truly excellent. The venison was more than delicious, second only to the cured meats served as an appetizer, and to finish, a typical Trentino dessert that I'll never forget. The prices are fair, making it a great option for a relaxing, good meal in the center of Trento.

01/02/2026: Simply a great restaurant with really good food, great service and nice atmosphere. We had the brusaola and ravioli with mushrooms as firsts with entrecôte and salmon trout as seconds. All of it was top quality, with the ravioli stealing the show. The white wine of the house was also really good, as was the tiramisu. We would definitely love to come back to try the other dishes, everything seemed delicious!

09/04/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Imbarcadero on Isola dei Pescatori, and it was truly unforgettable. This is a beautiful family-run place, created and run by twin sisters, their grandmother, and even the grandchildren — and you can feel it in every single moment. From start to finish, it’s heart, heart, and once again heart. The warmth, the care, the genuine kindness in the service, the attention to every detail, and the lovely atmosphere make you feel completely at home. And the food… absolutely incredible. We never expected to eat this well in such a touristy place. Every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with love. Places like this deserve all the support. If you’re visiting Isola dei Pescatori, don’t miss it — and please support family businesses like this one. They truly make a difference.
