29/05/2026: A beautiful restaurant with a lovely water view from the terrace. The team seems very young, which brings a refreshing energy to both the kitchen and the service. The food was absolutely delicious – not exactly cheap, but the value for money is perfect. The dishes have a unique touch, making the visit exciting and delightful. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Mille grazie!

16/05/2026: Carl Honoré would have been happy at this restaurant; he could have added a chapter to his In Praise of Slowness. Mind you, this isn't a criticism at all: the dishes are freshly prepared, and a short wait between each one isn't a flaw. Especially since the food is excellent quality at more than reasonable prices, including wine. Their lake fish, both grilled and fried, is particularly noteworthy. A visit is highly recommended, but reservations are essential on weekends, as walk-ins are virtually impossible.
03/05/2026: A surreal experience in an osteria that takes you back in time. Avoid it unless you have the patience to wait for the long waits of the otherwise very friendly lady. In the highly touristy setting of Verbania, it's probably not that bad. Decent first courses, a starter of homemade cured meats, supermarket rye bread, and a reasonable bill.

18/07/2026: Beautiful restaurant, we reserved a table a few weeks up front as they only do reservations and we're glad we did. The pasta and risotto were very rich and we could not stop eating even though we were stuffed. Grilled vegetables was also a highlight. The portions were also very generous. Service staff and owner were very kind and made us feel very welcome also. Would recommend.
16/07/2026: what an epic journey this absolutely delicious lunch. I can't find words for this perfect food we had. we have to visit again, because there are plenty of dishes looking for exploration!
the only minor drawback: smoking is allowed, which shouldn't be in 2026 especially if a child is sitting nearby.

08/06/2026: The garden is nice and well-kept, but the beginning of June doesn't exactly delight with blooms. There are simply not many flowers. The trees from different parts of the world are beautiful, such as the redwood. I recommend it.
07/06/2026: Beautiful gardens, wheelchair accessible. The climbs are a little challenging. I'd like to highlight the kindness and expertise of the staff, especially Daniele.

30/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening here. The folks that run this restaurant really know how to make even a tourist welcome. The food was first class and the service better than any other experience we had on our trip. We mention we hoped they had mussels or clams as they weren’t on the menu. “No problem I just got some this morning at the market. It’s not on the menu but I will make some.” So he made them especially for us. We will be back!

05/05/2026: We went for an all-you-can-eat lunch and had a great time. Since it was a holiday, the place was very crowded, but they found us a table on the terrace. The service was very fast and courteous, despite working at a frenetic pace to serve everyone. The food was good and well-prepared, and they were very attentive to special requests. Overall, we had a great time and ate well for the price quoted.
