03/07/2025: Nice restaurant with a nice view of the lake, very helpful and kind staff. The food is good but the dishes are not very abundant.

01/07/2025: Nice place to have lunch, lake view, affordable prices and good quality. Quite abundant and rich salads, good piadina. To keep in mind as a good place to stop for lunch or for an aperitif along the lake.

02/11/2025: A perfect restaurant on the main street. Very family-friendly and absolutely top-notch in every aspect. Everything was more than perfect! The service was super friendly and incredibly competent. Unfortunately, you don't find anything like this in Switzerland. And the prices are such that you'll want to come back again and again. Even the chef and the pizzaiolo gave us a quick wave! It's an 11 out of 10!!! Grazie mille!!!

10/08/2025: For a couple of years now, it's been our go-to lunch spot whenever we pass through Domodossola. Always good food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, a pleasure to chat with, and always happy to offer tips on shops or places to visit. A top rating!

20/07/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante porque no podíamos entrar en el que queríamos. Resultó ser un golpe de suerte - Amici es genial! Empezamos con parmesano de berenjena y burrata. Ambos fantásticos. Luego, tuve los ravioles plin y mi hijo tuvo el osso bucco. Finalmente, de postre tuvimos el pistacho semifreddo. Tenemos un litro de rosa de la casa. Volvería a este restaurante de nuevo, fue genial. Todo el mundo era muy amable y servicial. Era hermoso sentarse afuera bajo las vides.

12/07/2025: Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi e formaggi ossolani (come riportato nel menù) ma, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i salumi, mi son sembrati di tutto (anche se di qualità) tranne che ossolani. Per il resto discreto locale particolarmente gradito ai turisti, buon servizio e prezzi nella media.

16/07/2025: Ho avuto modo di pranzare piu' di una volta in questo ristorante nel corso del tempo e devo dire che mi sono sempre trovata bene. Ottimo cibo e personale cortese. Bella terrazza con vista.

25/06/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare e cenare per due giorni presso il ristorante Il Rifugio, scelto e selezionato dalla mia azienda per un soggiorno di lavoro. Fin dal primo momento, il locale ha trasmesso una sensazione di cura e accoglienza: ordine e pulizia impeccabili, un ambiente davvero piacevole e ben tenuto. Ogni piatto servito è stato una piacevole scoperta: la presentazione curata nei minimi dettagli, capace di valorizzare al meglio le portate, e il gusto... semplicemente eccellente. Si percepisce chiaramente la scelta di materie prime di alta qualità e un’attenzione particolare nella preparazione. Il servizio è stato all’altezza delle aspettative: personale cordiale, attento e professionale, sempre disponibile e con il sorriso. Ottimq esperienza gastronomica che ha superato ogni aspettativa, rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente Il Rifugio a chi cerca una cucina di qualità in un ambiente curato e accogliente.

28/09/2025: Really good pizza, thin and well-cooked. The inside is a bit noisy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Takeout is available. It's located in a quiet suburban area near the stadium.

24/09/2025: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED 🤮 One Saturday, we decided to have lunch on the veranda, surprised to be the only three customers in the entire restaurant, but we soon understood why!!! We sat down, and unfortunately, with the heat, we could smell cat urine—it's probably frequented by felines during closing times. A restaurant with years of experience🤣, but the professionalism and desire were visibly lacking. Poor product quality and little attention to the quality of the dishes (see photo of shrimp served to a CHILD with intestines still removed). The pizzas were excellent (when Mazzu made them), otherwise, delivery would be small and slightly burnt. Cuisine adapted to the lack of desire see photo Tartare (obviously not too chic knife) served only with egg, onion (instead of shallot) .. Without toasted bread and ALL the correct ingredients were missing which would be: tabasco, Worcester, parsley, capers, oil salt and pepper, mustard, but they made do, scribbling on the plate imaginatively, with mayo, ketchup, cherry tomatoes and anchovies that clash with the raw meat!! IT WAS NOT A TARTARE!!! When asked: can I have the correct ingredients? .. tabasco, Worcester, parsley etc??? I was answered by the waitress: "We don't have them. We do it like this because not everyone likes it!" 🤣🤣 I replied to her with extreme kindness: "I like it, if I didn't like it obviously I wouldn't order it!! And then on the menu it doesn't say that you do it YOUR way"!!!! .. High price as for a real Tartare.. I ask at least oil, salt and pepper; The waitress comes inside the restaurant and I hear the managers' ignorant comments: "I'm not getting upset because there's a child with us." The staff is a bit critical; I advise never to speak up, especially if you're WRONG!! The waitress reported my requests for the tartare to the managers, and I could hear comments and complaints followed by disparaging remarks. Just because I was surprised to find the wrong dish? They lacked class even when they opened, but at least they put in the effort with the rest... The wait times for both tables and takeout still need to be refined. Even if you call and they tell you 8:00 PM, they'll have the pizzas ready for you at 8:45 PM. Without warning or an apology, a small token discount, let alone a glass of water offered at 40⁰C, no way!!!! The toilet... 🤦🏻‍♀️is located outside the premises, unfortunately in winter, even after 30 years of operation, the toilet paper is placed on the sink or on the floor, they haven't bothered to find a solution. These missing services mean it's not heated and becomes an inconvenience for everyone, let alone the elderly and children. On weekends, bring your own tissues because soap and toilet paper are a luxury... like everything else... Speaking of children, who would change a baby in the cold on a rotten wooden changing table swollen with water?? Come on, a new one only costs 60 euros. Parking is a huge problem, so you have to search among the one-way streets and for someone who isn't familiar with the area, it becomes complicated also because there are few people on the street to ask for directions to get out, as happens with elderly people who don't use GPS. They show football matches, so if you're a woman (with children or not), if you happen to be there on one of those nights, you'll be met with shouting and swearing. A technicality: the menus are out of date. By law, they should list allergens, the origins of meat and fish, and perhaps even indicate frozen products!

24/08/2025: Great ice cream, huge selection, absolutely reasonable prices, and the portions are huge! There's an indoor and outdoor seating area, and there's a large parking lot right next door.

11/10/2025: I asked for a menu and was told it was pointless since they weren't serving food at this hour (2:30). I asked if they had anything sweet... Not even that! Then they brought menus and pasticciotti to the five people next to us... Oh well!!!! Leaving aside the lack of politeness from the people sitting next to us... that's another story!

15/09/2025: Bought a dürüm to take away. The meat was pale white and full of turkey and turkey meat. Inedible. The bread and falafel were okay! The staff weren't very friendly and were much too slow. Parking was far away.

22/10/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday! Mrs. Lorella and Mr. Matteo were immediately available to answer my questions. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful. I was treated like a queen! Thank you, and see you soon!

30/10/2025: A lovely little pizzeria! The food is absolutely delicious — every dish tastes fresh and homemade. The prices are surprisingly good for the quality you get, and the portions are generous. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere cozy and welcoming. A real hidden gem — highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Wow, I'm becoming a Verbania fan after finding the best ice cream parlor in the entire area and now this amazing pizza. The dough is simply delicious. Even a marinara with spinach (vegan) tastes like a treat. And the lady at the checkout was so friendly. Keep it up and grazie.

17/08/2025: A good place to stop for a morning coffee. The selection of pastries isn't very extensive, but it's enough for a quick breakfast.
