01/02/2025: In una calda giornata abbiamo deciso di andare a rinfrescarci e abbiamo trascorso una bella serata con piatti buoni. Gentili e disponibili. Buona la qualità. Prezzo forse leggermente superiore al dovuto. Comunque siamo stati bene. Consigliato.

16/01/2025: Posto accogliente e curato. I primi con poco sapore, gli gnocchi senza un senso gustativo. La nota dolente è stata la polenta, completamente bruciata ( sarà perché era l’ultimo giorno di apertura). Servizio approssimativo. Secondi di carne decisamente all’altezza del posto. I Dolci meritano.

25/07/2025: Hotel Restaurant. We stopped for lunch. The first courses were excellent. The second courses were equally as good.

19/06/2025: Everything was great. We had amazing pizza one night and another super nice dinner the next night. Breakfast was typical Italian, sweets and pies and a nice coffee made by the owner. Staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and super affordable. They even send my AirPods which I left to the Netherlands via post. We had the best time. Thanks for having us Mondo D’Oro

14/07/2025: Maden var lokal, lækkert, frisk. Smagte super dejligt. Vi var de eneste med børn, men det fungerede meget fint alligevel. Fik lov til at bestille en børne-pasta, selvom der ikke var børne-retter på kortet. Kan anbefales.

08/07/2025: Das Essen war hervorragend. Ich hatte ein Rindertatar als Vorspeise. Mein Mann wählte keine. Aber sie brachten unaufgefordert 2 Teller und stellten die Vorspeise in die Mitte. Das war sehr aufmerksam. Das Rindertatar war hervorragend. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals ein so perfektes Tatar gegessen zu haben. Engagiert abgeschmeckt und mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln, Kapern und gerüsteten Mandeln war es einfach hervorragend! Auch der Hauptgang, ich hatte Pasta mit Muscheln, war nicht nur mit seiner sanften Schärfe köstlich, sondern auch wirklich so abgeschmeckt, dass es kein Nachwürzen bedarf. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch wenn der Service bis auf eine Ausnahme sehr steif war. Das Essen sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist wunderbare italienische Küche!

31/07/2025: A big thank you to Mrs. Daniela. Despite our mistake in the booking, which was neither changeable nor cancelable, she was able to accommodate us, which was unexpected. The hotel did not disappoint. The small spa provides a welcome touch of relaxation after the excursion, and finding a lit heart in the room as soon as you enter creates a romantic atmosphere. The details make all the difference. Thank you all.

01/08/2025: The kebab shop pleasantly surprised me! The food was truly delicious – fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and the bread crispy. The staff was super friendly and created a pleasant atmosphere. The only minor negative: the kebab could have been a bit bigger. Recommended👍 You should know!

29/07/2025: Istanbul is closed for holidays. I came here for raw piadina and raw kebab. No trays or napkins. I left it there and paid. Don't go!

03/08/2025: Good pizza and calzone, made with quality ingredients. Clean place and friendly service. Good price. Only one (good) beer on tap and a bottle of Moretti, the only drawback for beer lovers.

08/06/2025: A modest place with modest service, outdated infrastructure (including cutlery, tables, etc.), and modest food. Better than nothing, but not my choice. Free parking is available around the building.

06/05/2025: We passed through these areas by chance coming down from Macugnaga, and we found a nice little place, a nice atmosphere, attentive and friendly service; moving on to the culinary side, we were truly amazed and impressed by the enormous quality of the food offered, truly something exceptional, never tasted such a devastating and exquisite pear and chocolate cake, COMPLIMENT TO THE CHEF, it deserves a significant increase... WE WILL REPEAT

23/07/2025: Our visit was overall disappointing. I had the Caprese salad for €9.50. I expected a simple but fresh salad. What I got was a single tomato, half a ball of mozzarella, no seasoning at all, and one basil leaf on top. No oil, no salt, no herbs. It was unfortunately not even remotely worth the price. The only reason I chose this salad at all was the extremely limited selection of vegetarian dishes. For vegans, it’s not even worth looking at the menu. My boyfriend had the Penne al Salmone. The portion was tiny, but it was served on a huge plate, which made the whole thing look even more absurd. He was still hungry after eating. If you’re really hungry, you won’t get full here. The first server was friendly, which was fine. Later on, however, we had to deal with an older waitress. Communication in English was a bit difficult, which is completely understandable. What is absolutely unacceptable, though, is unfriendly behavior and a clearly annoyed hand gesture when we explained that we only speak English. That was disrespectful. The only nice thing was the view of Lake Maggiore. But that alone is not enough for a good restaurant experience. The price-performance ratio is off, and the atmosphere was disappointing. We wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it.

09/05/2025: In cerca di un locale per cena ci siamo imbattuti in questa struttura,accomodati al nostro tavolo ordiniamo ciò che è menzionato nella foto dello scontrino. A dire di chi era con me era tutto buono,purtroppo tranne le mie tagliatelle alla bottarga,completamente insapore....peccato,probabilmente è stato un'incidente di percorso,devo ammettere però che il vino era eccezionale anche a detta di chi era con me.

27/07/2025: Una serata in compagnia ordinato una pizza al tonno. La pizza era priva di tonno salvo alcune tracce, fatto notare al titolare mi si rivolgeva in modo sgarbato anche di fronte all'evidenza. Non verrò mai più sopratutto per l'arroganza e l'atteggiamento sgarbato.

22/07/2025: The owner radiates his negative charisma with passion. We were essentially ignored the entire time, constantly lectured and corrected when ordering. After about an hour, the food finally arrived, and we realized that the wait wasn't worth it either. It was a complete waste of time, so we'd better go next door for dinner.

09/04/2025: A welcoming place to spend peaceful evenings in peace. Alone or in company, you can enjoy tasty dishes. Also recommended due to the quality/price ratio.

13/06/2025: The restaurant is incredibly delicious. It may be a bit pricey, but quality comes at a price. Everything is still within reason and perfectly fine. If you value good, high-quality food, then this is the place for you. The service was also good, and we felt comfortable. We'll be back when we go on holiday there again. Keep up the good work.

31/03/2025: Chiuso ed aperto in altra sede diversa da Mergozzo... con nostra (e non solo nostra, nucleo familiare di 7 o 8 persone con bimbi al seguito) amara sorpresa visto il mancato avviso. (Vedi riferimenti riportati su Tripadvisor e su "dove mangiare a...." e la mancanza di un cartello nella sede di Mergozzo)

03/05/2025: It is not a simple location, but an enchanting paradise with a suggestive view of Lake Orta. It was the location of our wedding reception, which, due to its beauty, was able to amaze us and the guests. Marzia, the owner, is very kind and helpful. We highly recommend
