29/12/2025: I went there for work and I didn't have the pleasure of having lunch but I will definitely go because I was pleasantly surprised.
29/12/2025: Today I celebrated my birthday at this beautiful refuge. You're greeted by the smiles and kindness of the staff. As soon as you sit at the table, you feel the warmth of home and a breathtaking view. We started with an appetizer accompanied by spring onions, peppers, and eggplant, all delicious. Next up was polenta with braised beef, bruscitt, stewed venison, and polenta with melted cheese. What can I say? Excellent, and the portions are generous. Since we had some polenta left over, we finished with polenta with cream, a delight for the palate! Let's move on to dessert, you can tell they're homemade! I ordered the fishbone and walnut cake, excellent!
If I've piqued your interest, just go and see them, you'll love it!
Congratulations to all the staff for their excellent work. They make every customer feel like family.

21/02/2026: The cable car works well, there is usually parking, but the staff at the ticket office is not very friendly... but above all it's a shame that once you get to the plain only one chairlift out of three works (and there was a lot of snow).
03/02/2026: It's a shame about the dirty/cloudy windows which compromised the visit to the beautiful valley, otherwise it would have been 4 ⭐

29/04/2026: Excellent food, beautiful, clean, large restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and exquisite wine! Definitely worth a try!!!
12/04/2026: The hotel is in a beautiful location, even with a small wooded area you can walk into. However, the railings on the bunk beds are poorly secured, as are the ladders, making it easy to injure yourself. In one room, the shower door doesn't close properly. Most of the electrical outlets are behind the beds. The staff is very friendly, speaks good English, and it's easy to communicate. Unfortunately, there was no butter or cheese for breakfast, and the bread was a bit dry.

07/01/2026: Beautiful view and lovely walk through the woods from there. The kids rolled around in the snow outside, we had a great meal, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. We returned twice in three days.
31/12/2025: Good morning. I've been frequenting this little haven for a while and have always had a great experience. Good food and professional staff, certainly not a given, but you pay for the splendid view. I'm giving it one star to draw the owner's attention; I don't understand the acrimony surrounding the negative comments. Right or wrong, they're the result of personal experiences and, as such, should always be treated with respect and a critical eye. Hoping to do you a favor, I bid you farewell and hope to visit you soon.
Following your reply: I made it clear that I like your place and frequent it. Don't be touchy and take criticism in stride. Many people look at customer reviews to understand their experience at your establishment. If you respond every time by accusing me of lying and lecturing them on restaurant etiquette and rules, you'll drive customers away.

11/05/2025: I went there by chance on December 8th with my partner. At the table, they told us the only option for the day was the market menu. I didn't like it even then because there aren't any markets in Craveggia, so why take advantage of it? We stopped because it was already 1 pm. The menu included an appetizer, a platter of local cured meats that only my partner ordered, but in reality it was a sad little plate of deli meats from the supermarket. We ordered two different first courses, but in reality, both were topped with lots of onion and bacon and nothing else. A truly poor dish in terms of quality and flavor. It was all accompanied by undrinkable wine because it was vinegary. The main course was served to us with a finger by the waitress, who even left her fingerprint in the slice of meat. The dish served to my partner, polenta and two or three varieties of meat, looked like leftovers. My fries were covered in oil. We skipped dessert. This entire lunch, which you normally get on weekdays for 10 euros, was charged 35 euros each! Shameful. We'll never go back and I don't recommend it to anyone.
I'm attaching a photo of my thumbprint and the oil on the fries, which I showed to a waitress who apologized.

29/06/2025: Che dire,,,,!!! Tutto Ottimo e abbondante la gestione familiare è la ciliegina sulla torta. Gente Semplice e accogliente con TUTTI
TORNERÒ sicuramente per assaggiare la polenta con le Lumache. Bravissima la ragazza in sala e la Figlia dei proprietari Sempre sorridente il che non guasta.

16/06/2025: Ottimo posto ( non lochescion... ) che ti riporta ai tempi in cui non si facevano le " esperienze gourmet " ma si andava a mangiare per stare bene ed in compagnia. Personale premuroso e gentile malgrado la calca, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e panorama bellissimo. Da provare!

22/08/2024: Partiamo dai lati positivi : bel locale caratteristico e confortevole, ragazzi simpatici e educati, porzioni abbondanti....cibo ok....lato un poco meno positivo il conto.
Diamo fiducia a questi giovani, possono migliorare e con buona volontà possono farcela.
