23/12/2025: An excellent restaurant, located in a welcoming little square, where quality reigns supreme, combined with a modern and sophisticated atmosphere, a very clean open kitchen, and original dishes, refined and harmonious in flavor, prepared with fresh and distinctive ingredients. The owner is very professional and kind, with a keen eye for children, from the menu to the entertainment provided with paper and pencils. Quick and attentive service.

05/11/2025: A wonderful experience! Around 1:30 pm, we were found a table for two upstairs with a magnificent view. The sage ravioli were marvelous, and the house pasta al ragù was delicious. I highly recommend it. I highly recommend it!

02/11/2025: There were nine of us and we chose just one dish: a first or second course. The choice was wide and everyone was satisfied. I had prawns, grilled fish, and seafood risotto... I had grilled whitefish, which was good, just a little too salty. Friendly staff

09/12/2025: A very welcoming, refined, yet affordable restaurant. The cuisine is truly superb, with a constantly changing and unique menu. For lunch, it offers an appetizer and a first course, usually featuring fish and meat options. The dishes are meticulously prepared, elegant, and flavorful... the chef truly knows his stuff. It's located on the main road in Casale Corte Cerro (VB).

21/10/2025: We already knew it was a "special" place, but the fact that over time everything was only amplified was pure magic. A small, well-kept space, where the feeling upon entering is like stepping back in time. Checkered tablecloths, sparkling glasses, and meticulously ironed and folded napkins... Saturday evening: no menu, just Tony's expert explanation, detailing the two types of menus, meat or fish. Homemade bread, no pre-packaged or processed products, just the mastery of the chef kneading and baking amazing bread. A "small" space with soft lighting, a few tables, and only the energy and knowledge of the raw materials behind each dish he presented to us. We were six friends, and each of us replied: this deserves to be in the top five of places to eat well in the area. Reservations are recommended; in fact, I highly recommend booking and spending a wonderful evening with your friends, because in addition to Tony, his wife will be there to welcome you, and with her sweetness and infinite patience, she will accompany you on this culinary journey. 10 stars!!! 04/01/2026: On the main road to the Formazza Valley, in the hamlet of San Rocco di Premia, lies this special pub. This establishment has made the decision to offer completely gluten-free food, so all its dishes are gluten-free, some even vegetarian. For celiacs, it's a kind of oasis of happiness; they can order everything, I believe only the beers are gluten-free (in addition to the gluten-free ones). Some of the food pairings are unusual; there's always a soup, risotto, and homemade gluten-free gnocchi. The atmosphere is quite rustic, and the outdoor bathroom in the summer doesn't help. I recommend booking ahead, even the day before during peak season, as they often get fully booked for lunch until generally 3:00 PM.

18/01/2026: The Osteria della Luna piena in Verbania welcomed us on a rainy January evening. The atmosphere is pleasant, rustic yet refined; the lady who served us was welcoming and attentive, carefully explaining the characteristics of the various dishes and offering helpful tips for exploring the area. We tried a lake fish appetizer and the golden lavaret with vegetables. Both dishes were excellent and meticulously prepared; the lavaret in particular was masterfully fried, dry and crispy. The same was true for the roast potatoes, absolutely perfect in texture and flavor. You can tell they're very skilled at cooking. The Bonet was also excellent, served with a generous dollop of cream. A truly positive experience that I recommend to anyone visiting Verbania.

31/12/2025: Great restaurant in a former horse stable. Friendly welcome and delicious food. You can order from the regular menu or set menus. I even received a complimentary amuse-bouche. The restaurant is a bit hidden away in a side street, but definitely worth a visit.

17/01/2026: I got takeout pizza. Quick and good quality. The pizza is a little small, but it's good.

02/01/2026: I've never had better pasta, gluten-free pizza, and tiramisu—a bomb of flavors. The service was fantastic.

13/01/2026: Lunch for two. A restaurant a little higher up in the mountains with a breathtaking view. Two parmigiana, Chigiale ragù, and polenta. Four glasses of wine and two desserts for about €130. A little pricey, but worth it for the view. Honest food and decent portions.

25/10/2025: I have visited this restaurant three times, and each visit has occurred only because other, more deserving establishments were closed, or because it was winter and most restaurants were not operating at all. Unfortunately, the cuisine here is rather monotonous and uninspired. The menu offers no more than six to ten dishes, and most of them are quite basic and ordinary. I would not consider this a place worth returning to — it is acceptable to try it once, but nothing more. The service is good, yet everything else would benefit from improvement. However, since we are in Italy, such improvements seem practically impossible by default. As a result, this restaurant will likely remain a tourist attraction forever — which is truly a pity.
