La Botte In Stresa

Simply the best restaurant in Stresa by a country mile. We ate there twice and wasted one meal we could have had there trying somewhere else-what fools were we! Fabulous.

It was the best gastronomic experience of the four days we spent in Stresa. The dishes were made with excellent ingredients and beautifully presented, and the almond rice was divine and mouth-watering. The restaurant is very welcoming, intimate, and softly lit, with a beautiful open kitchen. The service was attentive and professional, and the entire staff was impeccable and very friendly, something we didn't find in other places, even the most renowned ones. The atmosphere was lovely. Not to be missed.

This isn't the first time my husband and I, along with friends, have frequented this restaurant. We love the owner's warm welcome. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly without being intrusive and attentive to the customer's needs. I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant in Stresa: smiling, quick and friendly service, excellent food, good wine selection. We had a very pleasant evening despite the inadequate air conditioning (the only drawback).

The food here may be the best so far in 10 days of nice restaurants in Italy. The vegetarian dishes were both fantastic.

A small trattoria tucked away from the hustle and bustle, with a short menu featuring original dishes: veal tongue, oxtail, and more. Some of the servers speak French. The portions are perfectly balanced, the flavors excellent. Truly inventive Italian cuisine, just the way we like it. A warm welcome and quick service. And as a bonus, superb tableware. Finally, the prices remain reasonable for the quality. A nice wine list to complement everything. A small amuse-bouche would make it even more perfect, like the ones we regularly enjoyed. But there's no reason to hesitate.
