I spent a very pleasant evening in this restaurant, excellent dishes and super friendly staff!

An absolutely fantastic restaurant, small but very cozy. The food is good, really good. The menu: Tartare-ok, the pasta is simply magical, as is the fish. Unfortunately, the service was slightly lacking, but not too bad—they forgot to place our order. I think we were just unlucky, but we will definitely return there since we liked the atmosphere and the food.Thanks

The room has seats carefully placed in order to guarantee accurate privacy between the diners, set with a mise en place suited to the chosen furnishing style, taking care of the details in the choice of serving dishes, in order to enhance the colors of the ingredients used, with the delicate colorimetry of the porcelains, creating a visual "game". The room curated by Mrs. Matilde together with her son the Sommelier, represents the presentation of the dishes in a commendable way, enriching it with information during the presentation, proposing a tasting journey of pairing with the wine, dictated by the experience of the Sommelier as well as the great passion with which represents the wines of the cellar, a flagship enclosed within an exposed glass structure. The question is what makes a top notch restaurant dining experience? For me that's attention to detail, a refined ambiance, service and most of all the food. Or you could just come here and see what all that looks, feels and tastes like. A family run place with the husband, son and daughter in law in the kitchen and mom up front. The room is sophisticated and warm. All the detail have been covered. At your table you will have a nice flower arrangement and your fork and knife sit on a block of marble so they never touch the table. There is art and vignettes everywhere so as you look around there are stones accents on the walls, paintings, wine glasses ect. You will have plenty to see. As to service my wife dropped her knife and within seconds a new one was brought to the table. Enough said The food ? Elevated, splendid. And unexpected. I ordered the Iberian pork. Perfectly cooked and displayed served with beets and a yogurt. I have ordered a version of this dish in Miami, spain and Portugal but none rise to the level of this one. The Mrs had the lake fish fry. There was all sort of lightly beaded and flash fried fish along with onions, carrots, zucchini and potatoes. This was not greasy the fish was fresh and plump, just superb. The wine list is extensive with both local wines and wines from Italy and France. I ordered an excellent Rosso de Montalcino. The dessert was a very inventive mix of chocolate moose, cream and rice cakes. I know it's sounds normal but this was so inventive and delicious the presentation was part of the allure. We have been in Italy for 21 days now and have been here 4 other times. This is one of the top restaurants we have dined at. The fact that it's family run takes it up a notch. If you are near lake maggiore head here you will thank me.

Soft atmosphere, sophisticated and affordable cuisine, serious service. We ate our fill and enjoyed ourselves, original and delicious dishes in the first course. We recommend !

The first time on Lake Maggiore we went for dinner on the recommendation of the owner of the B&B. The place is very nice and well looked after, it calls itself a trattoria but in reality it is very refined. The staff is impeccable from the first to the last waiter, discreet but always attentive, the level of service is very high and nothing is left to chance. There were 3 of us, including a little girl, and as we all chose different dishes, no one betrayed our expectations. The wine list is also well-stocked and balanced. Prices are in line with the quality offered. A pleasant discovery. We will be back .

I had lunch with steak and assorted fried fish. The degree of grilling and frying is just right, and although the flavor is not outstanding, it is excellent considering the price. The accompanying house wine was also good. The restaurant is classy, ​​the tables are spaced out comfortably, and the hostess is friendly. Even though it is a tourist destination, it is really good value for money.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante per la seconda volta in occasione di un soggiorno a Stresa e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell'esperienza. Questo affascinante locale situato nel cuore di Stresa ha catturato il mio palato e il mio cuore con la sua cucina eccezionale e la sua atmosfera accogliente.

Il menù del ristorante è una vera celebrazione dei sapori, dalla selezione di salumi e formaggi, Salmone marinato, Risotto “Acquerello, e il Tenero di vitello con salsa di funghi, insalata indivia mmmmhhh tutto buonissimo!!

Il servizio al tavolo è stato impeccabile, il personale era attento e ben informato sui piatti e i vini. Inoltre, l'atmosfera era calda e accogliente, la cucina a vista mi piace tantissimo… così come la cantina di vini …

Non posso dimenticare di menzionare i dolci, deliziosi!

In termini di rapporto qualità / prezzo si è rivelato un'ottima scelta. Il cibo era di alta qualità, e il prezzo era ragionevole per la qualità dell'esperienza culinaria offerta.

In conclusione, consigliatissimo a tutti gli amanti della buona cucina e a chiunque cerchi una serata indimenticabile in un ambiente affascinante e accogliente. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci per assaporare ancora una volta questi deliziosi piatti!!!! D.Versace
