Ristorante Flizzi In Macugnaga

My husband and I went there yesterday, even though we hadn't booked because we were coming from about a 2-hour drive, after several previous stops elsewhere. We didn't know what time we'd arrive in Macugnaga and preferred not to make plans we might not be able to keep. Well, the staff not only found us a table right away, but were so kind and courteous that we felt like we were "at home"! We ate wonderfully; the charcuterie and cheese platter was top-notch! Then macaroni with venison ragù for my husband and the typical dish for me: pasta alla magugnaghese, both delicious. And to finish, peach tart with custard and panna cotta with fresh fruit, both truly delicious! We ate outside but we noticed that the interior of the restaurant was truly beautiful and pleasantly attentive to detail. If we return to Macugnaga in the future, we will definitely stop there, but this time we will reserve a table!

We've been to this restaurant for lunch several times and have always enjoyed it. This was our first dinner here: we booked at the last minute and were greeted courteously around 9:00 PM. The dishes are carefully crafted and refined; you can sense the hard work and attention that goes into every dish. The plin were exceptional, and the boiled meat was simply perfect. This evening truly impressed me: every course completely satisfied me. It is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Macugnaga, with prices absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients.

I don't know what to say... the restaurant is in the small square of Staffa and is elegant yet rustic, reflecting its location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the dishes are a journey of flavors, everything homemade, absolutely everything, and the prices reflect the quality of the dishes. Meat, fish, vegetables, pasta... everything perfect. Highly recommended in every way.

A magical mountain atmosphere, with thoughtful details that make the place warm and welcoming. At Ristorante Flizzi in Macugnaga, you can sense authenticity and attention to detail. The Piedmontese appetizer, the exquisite pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi, and the hazelnut cake with zabaglione (simply unforgettable, worth the visit in itself) are all noteworthy.
