22/02/2026: The best farinata in Ovada, and the best cheese focaccia I've ever had! The service was friendly and fast.

27/10/2025: Fabulous farinata. I suggest they adjust the opening hours, because the sign says 10:30, but it's usually closed before 11:30. More importantly, if you're visiting from out of town and look up the hours on Google, you might find the place closed. That said, I reiterate that the farinata is fabulous.

11/03/2026: The look has potential, but it's not enhanced at all. It could be considered "rustic," poorly maintained, with beautiful antique furniture and out-of-place blue wall gaps. The waiters were helpful, but it took 45 minutes for three pizzas to arrive, considering we arrived at 7:30 PM and the place was still almost empty. This is obviously not the waiters' fault. It takes a long time, yes, but the pizza, once it arrives, is delicious. Personally, I was starving and a little nervous, but when the pizza arrived, I really thought it was worth it. You can plan ahead knowing this with a little patience. We spent €52 for three specialty pizzas and three medium beers. Just to give you a general comparison, a Margherita costs €5, so the prices are very affordable.

08/03/2026: Excellent food, historic setting, very helpful staff. Unfortunately, the wait was excessive. From ordering, we waited over an hour for our first course. Furthermore, we weren't warned that the "tasting" platter was missing the Fassona steak because it was sold out. However, they managed to make up for it by offering us an unsolicited discount. Well done.

08/03/2026: The location is charming, but certainly thanks to its age and antiquity. The food, etc., is "refined and special" at all costs, even when it's not necessary. This, however, is to justify the rather high prices. Krumiri. We need to open a debate. The ones made here are ordinary biscuits. The authentic, world-famous Krumiro from Casale is something else entirely, and delicious. Terrible service. I can't use a different word. For example... Sunny Sunday, pleasant temperature, city packed with tourists. Place with at least 20 seats outside. Everyone sits down and no one comes to serve. It turns out after a while that they don't serve outside. You can't even sit down and drink, not even if you go inside to get your Teblo coffee. You don't serve, you don't provide seating outside. They really need to change gear.

14/03/2026: A lovely spot in the Serravalle Outlet, a little away from the crowds. Their aim is to promote the region and local products. The service was absolutely delightful. I had some delicious pasta al pesto, a great Milano Spritz (a local liqueur instead of Campari), and a fantastic limoncello. I highly recommend it for a relaxing break. They also sell other regional products.

30/01/2026: An elegant bistro offering a wide selection of quality wines, quick meals, and appetizers, as well as a selection of items for purchase. Many are typical regional dishes.

21/03/2026: We had a great time. We ordered two delicious topped pizzas (Valtellina and New York) from a 66cc Moretti, all for €30. The pizzas were excellent in terms of dough, cooking, and flavor.

09/01/2026: Good food, nice atmosphere, but we arrived at the table at 8:30 without a reservation. We ordered and then waited until 9:45. There weren't many people there, but the weirdest thing was that people who arrived later had their food delivered much earlier than us, perhaps because they had reservations. I had to tell the waitress that the food hadn't arrived yet, and she made up a ridiculous excuse, like they hadn't seen the note they'd taken earlier. And it's not the first time the same thing has happened...
