Friendliness isn't their strong point; they're full of forced smiles. The place is very beautiful and chic in Casale's "piazza buona," with excellent aperitifs and wines. They've launched into various flavors of krumiri and invented savory ones to attract tourists who don't know the original flavor, but the result is always the same: biscuits, not krumiri. Nothing comes close to the real thing.

I happened upon it, stopped for lunch, and came away with a box of Krumiri. What do I think? A truly interesting place: elegantly furnished, it doesn't look like a Krumiri shop (and what Krumiri!!!!!) or a bistro. Yet this is so much more: I had the chance to speak with the owner, a friendly man, who said something important, something few understand: "It's better to limit the selection and quantity than to limit the quality of what you offer." It may seem trivial, but it's not! It's the mantra that every business owner, especially in the restaurant industry, should have written on their forehead. And these aren't just words: the culinary selection isn't vast, but the vitello tonnato I treated myself to was something more than exquisite! Not to mention the bread, the homemade focaccia (made in their own workshop...) as well as the Krumiri... truly delicious. For me, an experience to repeat as soon as possible, and for those reading this review, an invitation to try it...

The vintage place is really cute and worth a visit. The krumiri are good but nothing special.

A great idea for a sweet treat, a coffee, or a quick snack. I especially liked the zabaglione with krumiri. The staff were attentive and very friendly, and the service was quick. The only downside is the price: I think it's a bit high.

Excellent food, historic setting, very helpful staff. Unfortunately, the wait was excessive. From ordering, we waited over an hour for our first course. Furthermore, we weren't warned that the "tasting" platter was missing the Fassona steak because it was sold out. However, they managed to make up for it by offering us an unsolicited discount. Well done.
