16/07/2025: Dopo circa due anni e mezzo rieccomi in questo piccolo accogliente ristorante nel cuore di Tortona. Accoglienza cordiale e professionale, abbiamo optato per un assaggio di insalata russa (quella col tonno: alla "piemontese" ovvio) e verdure al vapore tutto ottimo. A seguire tortelli di magro al pomodoro e i classici agnolotti Derthona una squisitezza. Un calice di buon barbera Colli Tortonesi (peccato il servizio: si dovrebbe presentare la bottiglia e non il calice già riempito) ha coronato questa bella esperienza. Da tornarci sempre.

16/08/2025: Located in the historic center but to the northwest, in a less busy area than Piazza Conte Rosso but with just as much character - and more accessible. Menu exclusively in Italian. Damn, our phones were dead and our knowledge of culinary Italian was limited. Since we couldn't choose, we opted for the 4-course tasting menu, at the reasonable price of 37 euros, which offered a sampling of the house dishes. And we ate the entire restaurant! And served by the ladle rather than the teaspoon! It's hard to remember a particular dish, but every piece on this (complete?) compilation was a hit! A highly recommended menu, provided you drastically monitor your diet in the previous twelve hours to be able to fully indulge. So, unfortunately, no clichés to immortalize the moment. Served under a small, very pleasant arbor by a kind young woman with charming hesitations who seemed amazed by our substantial tip.

02/09/2025: The pizza is good; it's a chain, so nothing new to say. The outdoor tables are also very nice. It's suitable for a dinner for two or even four or five people. I don't think it's suitable for large groups.

20/07/2025: We were greeted by the smiles of Eleonora, Francesca, and their entire staff. The property, framed by the Graian Alps just a stone's throw from France, offers the perfect temperature to stay cool in the summer. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a large balcony that our dog also loved. A generous sweet and savory breakfast was provided, providing a great start to the day. We booked half-board, and dinner was something for everyone, with excellent dishes and generous portions. We felt like we were part of the family from the beginning of our stay until our departure. The property is highly recommended for couples and families.

17/07/2025: Arrivati dopo un escursione sul Rocciamelone, personale gentilissimo e disponibile proprio come la simpatica proprietaria. Il posto è tranquillo, semplice ma elegante e soprattutto molto pulito. Abbiamo soggiornato con cena e colazione molto buone e abbondanti ! È stata davvero una bella esperienza, torneremo presto.

20/07/2025: This is my third time dining at this restaurant, which is only called "Locanda." It's actually a refined establishment created specifically in part of one of the oldest nursery schools, with style and sophistication. The owner and chef, along with his wife, are a perfect, refined duo. The food is meticulously prepared with a rare delicacy. Top-notch wines and... even soft drinks for those who prefer them. I highly recommend it for lunches where you want to enjoy expertly interpreted Italian cuisine, with both meat and fish equally highly rated. And considering we're in Valpellice, that's no small feat! Try it and you'll agree!

02/08/2025: I don't understand this place: on the one hand, they act super-upscale, but on the other, they're mediocre in quality and not so great in reliability. A glass of wine is a maximum of 1/8 liter and costs €7.50. There's no drinks or wine list. The shrimp meat was dry and smelled of old fish. The meal came with 1.5 crabs, sliced in half. The meat weighed about 5 grams. We had ordered water, among other things, but didn't get it. The pasta came with overcooked and pureed spinach as a side dish. No spices, no herbs, nothing to add flavor (except for the old micro-crabs). On the other hand, my colleague's meal was too salty. The pictures of old stars on the walls are beautiful, but most of them are long dead. The distinguished guests arrived in shorts, which is a no-go for Italians. Strangely, there were some who treated themselves to four courses and several drinks, but then left without paying. We were among the paying customers and had to wait 20 minutes at the checkout. Conclusion: putting little on the plates, serving large glasses with little in them, and charging high prices don't make for Michelin-starred dining. The service and, above all, the craftsmanship also have to be top-notch. I've eaten in Italy many times. This restaurant was by far the worst. It makes you wish you were in the kitchen with an Italian mother, who conjures up world-famous Italian dishes with love and expertise, with those incredible flavors. I find the owner's statement "clothing freedom in Italy" very funny: I've seen fine restaurants in Italy that turned away guests because of their clothing. Then comes the blabber about all the things the restaurant isn't doing and how no one contacted us. Well, no one had time to take care of us, otherwise we could have talked. The wine was entered incorrectly at the cash register, water was billed but not served: it's a good thing that, in principle, the guests are always at fault. I think it's great that there were also satisfied guests: they are welcome to come back.

16/08/2025: The pizza and fried fish were truly excellent. Excellent value. Fast and discreet service. It was the first place I've ever been served pizza before drinks. Overall, a great place; I'll gladly return. Neapolitan-style pizza with a thick crust and dry, crispy fried toppings. The only thing that could be improved is that some of the pizzas came out slightly burned underneath.

16/08/2025: I tried the trofie with pesto, green beans, and potatoes. They were very good, and the portion was generous. Excellent value for money. It's a shame about the location and the staff, who weren't always friendly.

04/09/2025: We cannot understand a single one of the negative reviews. This was the best meal on our holiday so far. The food was all excellent, all the dishes were tasty and well balanced. We had Goats cheese salad, bruschetta with burrata, ham and peaches, to start. Then ravioli and octopus taglioni. All so good my partner went back and ordered the seared octopus off the starters again. We both also enjoyed desserts. If we had another night here I’m sure we would be back. Thank you.

13/08/2025: Food is ok but service is bad. We were sentes in a very hot part of the terrace, when some guests in a cooler placé left we asked the waitress if we could change table (we didnt start eating yet, Didnt even order) and while looking annoyed she said it’s reserved. Of course it wasnt, they didnt even clean that table and no customer came. Also she made a mistake in taking the order and i did tint receive what I ordered. Overall not nice staff, no smiles nothing, just the feeling that we are bothering them.

27/07/2025: Our experience at Piano 35 was perfection the whole night. The service was exceptional, it was the most elegant ballet of presentation I've witnessed in a restaurant in a long time. Every single detail was attended to, no matter how small and they went above and beyond for my husband who is particular with his drink choices. The food was outstanding, with every course having something worth noting - but a surprising standout for me was the Spaghetto alle vongole. I didn't order that menu (my husband did) because I do not normally care for that dish, but I tried some of his and was amazed. If that was what my grandmother had cooked all these years - I would have grown up very differently. The view is obviously the star in so many ways - but it was an ensemble cast. A spectacular way to end a long work week and a memory that I will never forget.

27/07/2025: For my birthday, I chose Piano 35, on the 35th floor of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper, partly because I was with my mother, who was curious and had never been there before, and it was a truly pleasant experience. We sampled two tasting menus—"Giro d'Italia" and "Piemontese"—both very delicious and not overly demanding, as one might expect at a Michelin-starred restaurant, with carefully crafted dishes and interesting traditional flavors. The service was attentive and professional, managed by a young, competent, and friendly team, always up to the task and suited to the type of venue. The atmosphere in the bioclimatic greenhouse, with its view of the city and the mountains, adds a special touch to the experience. The price is in line with a Michelin-starred restaurant, but commensurate with the quality and setting. A place worth trying, especially for special occasions or to treat yourself to an evening out of the ordinary.

20/07/2025: I've been a few times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience when I went for dinner on a Monday. The fish we ordered wasn't very good. If you don't have fresh food, don't serve it.
