A good location in the center of this small village a few kilometers from Alba. A typical Piedmontese inn, not too big but welcoming. Good service despite a few small flaws, but given the day (April 25th) and the busy restaurant, I can forgive them. The food was as good as I'd expect from places like this.

I have to thank them for their hospitality because they accepted us with six dogs, even if with a little compensable hesitation. We took the tasting menu and everything was delicious and plentiful at a more than fair price (a rare thing nowadays). A place to really recommend.

I've eaten here twice, once with a group of friends, and once with my girlfriend.
A typical place to eat traditional Piedmontese cuisine.
There's not much variety, but the excellent tasting menu for €30 per person is highly recommended.
I recommend not eating beforehand because the portions tend to be generous.
Good house wine at very competitive prices.
The homemade gelato was excellent.
I recommend booking as the place was very busy both times.

Located in the center of the small village of Diano d'Alba.
The restaurant is spread across several rooms and features spacious, classic furnishings typical of old-fashioned trattorias, but definitely clean.
You can opt for the tasting menu (29 euros: 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 2 second courses with sides, and a selection of desserts - drinks not included) or the à la carte menu.
The dishes are traditional, without frills (which I appreciate), tasty, and in adequate portions. You won't leave hungry.
The wines are all local and reasonably priced.
The service is courteous and friendly.
