An oasis of freshness just minutes away from Turin.
The menu is a certainty that provides stability, appetizers, agnolotti (meat and lean), grilled meat.
Vittorio, a highlander, flits between the tables.
A rare place, steeped in ancient poetry.

The restaurant is a blast from the past, very unique, where you dine by candlelight. The menu is simple but good, with generous portions, especially with the first courses. The second courses feature excellent grilled meat and vegetables. Vittorio, the owner, chef, and waiter/dishwasher, is simply splendid and always available. The tiramisu is excellent. Very good value for money.

Personally, I love this place and I love Vittorio. I've been going there for over 15 years, and each time has been a unique experience. I won't talk about the quality of the food, the location, or the service; those aren't the reasons I go here and why I'll continue to go as long as I can. 5 stars aren't enough.

An incredible experience. The owner, chef, and waiter were incredibly kind and welcoming. Perfect for those who want to pamper themselves with a down-to-earth, homey experience.

A candlelit dinner immersed in the 49-year history of this last resort. Vittorio, an efficient jack-of-all-trades, cooks and waits tables.

Characteristic place, it's true that cleanliness is not its strong point, but if you look carefully, you will notice details that make the place worthy of note, home-made but excellent food, Mr. Vittorio is a force.... this is history that should be protected

Vittorio and his trattoria are from another era; it's definitely not a place for tourists chasing selfies, nor for influencers hunting for rare gems for their petty commercial gain. It's not a place to be abused or distorted, but to be defended, helped, and supported. Vittorio and his trattoria are the last resort of authenticity. They're a national monument! Authentic cuisine, an authentic atmosphere, impeccable and precise service, even though Vittorio does everything himself. Only for those who love authenticity!

Candlelit dinner for two. Unique and evocative setting. Former Bear Hotel Restaurant; it was already called that in the 19th century and was reportedly frequented by Salgari, Gobetti, and Pavese, as you can tell upon entering. It retains a brick structure with barrel vaults, a fireplace, and an authentic well with crystal-clear spring water. The menu is neither fixed nor printed, but narrated by the owner. We ordered appetizers, which included: raw salami with olives and green tomini cheese; green peppers; and fantastic warm beans with orange. For the main course, grilled sausage and cheese, and green potatoes. All washed down with the house red wine and a splash of limoncello. The decor is varied, with a piano, sofa, corner cupboard, and other traditional items. The quality/price ratio is exceptional. Definitely worth a try, and (if you like it) you'll want to try it again and again.

Trattorias like those of the past. Lunch was offered to me, and I loved it. I'll definitely be back. However, the Google map isn't very reliable. You have to follow the road that the 30th runs along.
