Unfortunately, I am upset that my expectations of this restaurant did not match its rating(4.4). First of all, the food was mediocre. We ordered ceviche, which was not at the level it should have been. They needed to replace the ceviche and did not included it in the bill. (good service) Then, we ordered pasta with fish. Unfortunately, that was mediocre as well. However, I must say, that the service and atmosphere were good. the impression, over all was average.

Locale composto da due sale, ben frequentato, dal servizio piuttosto formale e cordiale. Tante opzioni anche vegetariane e vegane (non scontato sul lago Maggiore!), e prezzi tutto sommato onesti. Ottimi anche i dolci! Consigliato se si è a Stresa!

Ci siamo stati già diverse volte, sempre con soddisfazione: è un ristorante di livello superiore alla media, lo si apprezza dal fatto che i piatti vengono cucinati da un cuoco vero, non come in molti altri posti dove devi prendere roba già pronta, e gli ingredienti sono sconosciuti al ristorante stesso. Inoltre la cucina è giustamente attenta anche alla salubrità e propone molte verdure e anche piatti vegetariani/vegani. Ho scelto la tagliata di funghi e il branzino, entrambi ottimi. Sui 30 eur a testa senza vino, un prezzo corrispondente alla qualità. Wifi per gli ospiti, servizio competente e veloce.

Allo Stornello l'aria è familiare, ma il personale è attento e formale. Il cibo ottimo, i prodotti sono per la maggior parte del territorio e l'idea di cucina è molto chiara. Anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo è buono, soprattutto considerando la zona e la tipologia di ristorante. Se passiamo di nuovo da quelle parti ci torniamo!
