15/08/2025: An excellent restaurant just outside Ivrea and near the Via Francigena, we discovered it by chance when we didn't want to settle for a sandwich at a rest stop. We'd also recommend it to anyone traveling along the A5 motorway and wanting to take a few extra minutes for a leisurely lunch. The restaurant is welcoming and well-maintained, with a lovely terrace overlooking the surrounding woods. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent, even for those who, like us, opt for the à la carte option (during the week, a daily menu is usually available for around €12). The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff and the owner are top-notch. We definitely enjoyed it.

The chef welcomed us warmly, even as he was closing, and served one of the best meals of our trip — incredible bistecca, fresh pasta, and rustic sides. What made it truly special was the atmosphere: dining alongside a local Italian family celebrating together felt like stepping into real Italy. Authentic, hospitable, and unforgettable — this is the kind of experience you travel for. Grazie Chef, per averci accolto e per essere stato un ospite incredibile.

30/08/2025: From Genoa to the Susa Valley, a magical place, incredible atmosphere, wonderful shabby chic style, and delicious food. Very romantic.

17/08/2025: Given that I'm Lombard, my wife and I happened to be there on the evening of August 15, 2025. This restaurant, located in the center of Turin, is down-to-earth and simple, offering traditional Piedmontese dishes. The portions are generous, the flavors are excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The restrooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual. We left satisfied; if I ever return to the city, I'll definitely remember them.

15/08/2025: I was pleasantly surprised at this place. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I tried the plim and bunet. Everything was very good quality and tasty. I recommend this place for traditional Piedmontese food.

04/09/2025: La botte Stresa, a refined and stylish place, small and welcoming, the owner Matilde is always sunny, the staff and dining room are well-trained, the cuisine is delicious and will make you lose your mind.

30/07/2025: A trattoria serving home-style cuisine with outdoor seating. Generous, well-cooked dishes are served with a fixed menu offering excellent value. The staff are very friendly and hardworking. Highly recommended.

28/07/2025: A classic trattoria from days gone by. Simple (and thankfully so...) and authentic food. Excellent atmosphere for a refreshing break (I enjoyed the cool shade even on a very hot day). Prices are staggering. But I'm writing this post primarily to thank the entire staff for their hospitality, kindness, professionalism, and speed. Especially the owner and her young daughter, Michelle, with whom I interacted the most. I'll be back...

12/08/2025: A lunch stop at 12 p.m. in this restaurant, especially since I did my army training in this city. The meat is delicious and the fresh fish, the desserts are dreamy, fast service, very kind and helpful staff. I recommend it.

10/08/2025: Well-maintained and impressive restaurant. The food was barely acceptable. The first course consisted of six paccheri pasta with four pieces of octopus floating in tomato sauce. The fried fish was rubbery and not fresh. The watermelon slices were soft and pureed. The house white wine was subpar. The bill was very expensive, about €50 per person. I do not recommend it.

27/05/2025: Lunch break with friends, fast service, wide choice on the daily menu and very large and varied side dish buffet, abundant and pleasant dishes. Reasonable cost, just right for the service and the food offered.
