Good quality dishes with even sophisticated ingredients, such as white truffles and porcini mushrooms, despite it being the start of the season. The wait staff is very friendly, professional, and entertaining. The only thing that could be improved regarding the service is the limited menus, which are slow. I would suggest using QR codes. But absolutely recommended.

22/07/2025: We're located at 1,800 meters above sea level, offering a perfect view and, most importantly, surrounded by nature. It's an excellent stop for mountain bikers starting or returning from the Via del Sale, motorcyclists, and hikers, with the forts nearby. As for the food, there's no shortage of wait times, and reservations are recommended if you want to eat inside.

13/07/2025: A romantic dinner? Taverna Darsté in Torre Pellice (Via Arnaud 3) could be a great idea, as well as a get-together with gourmet friends who love seafood. Yes, because—oddly enough—Darsté has built its business and professional image on the freshest and most flavorful seafood, even though we're in the Pellice Valley. Our evening began with a couple of first courses from the menu (orecchiette with fresh octopus, clams, and broccoli rabe; and cavatelli with seafood ragù), cooked perfectly al dente and beautifully balanced in flavor between the various ingredients. A small misstep was the mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovies—a bit too greasy, and the shrimp hadn't had their "intestinal vein" removed: I know, opinions differ, but we're in favor of a thorough cleanse...—which was promptly redeemed by a seared fresh tuna on a bed of mixed salad that earned a standing ovation for its freshness, flavor, and tenderness. The dinner was rounded out with an excellent bunet and the bubbles of a glass of Baffone (Poderi Cellario, 80% Moscato and 20% Favorita), bold, savory, and pleasantly rustic. We'll be visiting again, and soon.

30/08/2025: We've known the winery and its wines since our last vacation, when our holiday home was practically next door. Today we enjoyed the wine bar in Alba. Such a special place to enjoy. The very friendly service is a real asset. The wines are exceptional, and the ambiance is impressive. Thank you.

26/08/2025: Even though we had to have a quick dinner, the owner made us feel very welcome. Everything was excellent, using local produce from his garden, and ultimately at a truly affordable price! Plus, he speaks perfect English and French. We recommend it to anyone passing through the area!

20/08/2025: The owner, a colorful character, makes a point of offering vegetables from his garden, buying his meat locally, and preparing all the dishes himself... a true delight, authentic, locavore cuisine... A very nice place

07/09/2025: Total disappointment. Initially, three people waited to find our reservation. After an hour of waiting and several reminders, the manager informed us that our order hadn't arrived in the kitchen (he had picked it up). The dishes arrived cold. Following our complaints, he told other tables that we could go back to where we came from. Other diners also received dishes they hadn't ordered, which they were happy to accept. Total disorganization. Highly discouraged; professionalism isn't his strong point.

The beer was perfect as well! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming Iranian atmosphere.

24/08/2025: By far the best pizzas of our Italian vacation. Well-filled, light, flavorful…what more can we say? They're among the top 50 pizzerias in Italy for a reason. Reservations are recommended.

10/08/2025: The dishes were delicious. I hadn't wanted to lick my plate for a long time. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The decor was very nice. (It's true that the walls need some work.) But when you eat well, with very nice people, nice decor, and affordable prices... a chip on the wall doesn't matter so much. I'll be back more than once. A must-stop when arriving in Turin.
