Long wait times and prices too high for what is offered. Looking back at the reviews and photos on google, it seems that the attention to details have gone down while the prices have gone up.

Excellent service and perfect organization to be able to serve pasta, rice, and pizza dishes at the same time (there were 6 of us). It seems easy, but I assure you that few people manage to do it. Good and well-presented dishes. The atmosphere is a bit noisy.

We visited this restaurant after a stroll along Lake Orta, about twenty kilometers away. The service was good and the food was good. In my opinion, the prices were a bit high for the type of restaurant, and especially for its location. But eating out is probably almost a luxury these days...

A truly excellent New Year's Eve dinner experience! Kudos to the entire staff for the beauty and deliciousness of the seven courses, all excellent, with just the right portions and perfectly timed for a dinner, but above all, served with a smile and kindness! We were there in December, and the bright atmosphere was truly "Carolosa" and welcoming. From the very beginning, you felt pampered, thanks in large part to the constant attention of the attentive staff. The food was excellent, as per tradition.

02/06/2026: A truly enjoyable evening at Taverna Antico Agnello. We started with an excellent veal with tuna sauce—soft and tender meat, perfectly balanced sauce, a perfectly executed classic. The borage and ricotta ravioli were delicious: high-quality fresh pasta, a delicate and fragrant filling, a first course that speaks of care and local tradition. The breaded lamb ribs confirmed the house's vocation: precise cooking, crispy crust, succulent meat. The side dish was tasty and well-matched. Also noteworthy were the freshest breadsticks and bread—a detail that makes all the difference and is by no means a given. The staff is professional and courteous, the service quick and without waiting. The price is more than fair for the overall quality. A place we'll gladly return to and recommend without hesitation.

Al Vecchio Porto

10/05/2026: It's truly an old port. Even though the name on the outside says "Ristorante Trota Vagabonda." If you're there for the first time, you might be a bit perplexed. Afterward, you ask for information inside, and the location is indeed Al Vecchio Porto. The servings are very generous and of good quality. Perhaps use a little less oil for the black ravioli. The desserts are quite good. The plating could be improved...like the sorbet balls. I would bring the wine corked, not opened. We didn't ask if they had a wine list. Our mistake. On the other hand, we had a good time; the wait staff was very kind and professional. We'll be back.
29/04/2026: Company dinner, a fixed menu of meat or fish, all inclusive, for €28. We had a lovely evening. There was an appetizer for every four people, then they brought a tray of first and second courses (I even had seconds). One thing the group complained about was the potatoes... too few... you can never have enough potatoes 🤪 Water, wine, and bread rolls, plus 4/5 flavors of sorbet. Congratulations
