I'm posting this review with the utmost respect for others' work. We probably had a bad night, but the experience wasn't up to par with the reviews and the price we paid.
The dinner began with a very good welcome from the kitchen, which gave us hope for the rest of the meal.
I had the agnolotti del plin, but their uneven cooking meant that many of them fell apart and had an unpleasant texture. The flavor of the filling and sauce also didn't match that of other agnolotti I've eaten in recent days. The egg with creamed potatoes and truffle that my girlfriend ordered, however, was quite good.
The dinner continued with tajarin with butter and truffle for my girlfriend, which was definitely too salty to appreciate the flavor of the truffle and butter, and with a tagliata di rump for me, which was neither good nor bad.
The dessert we ordered (dessert of the day, a chocolate-covered coffee stick) was served too cold, making it neither easy nor enjoyable to eat.
The breadsticks offered throughout the meal were delicious.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the place was charming and well-maintained.

I stopped there because I saw "osteria" on the outside, so I was expecting something different, perhaps more traditional. The food is good, though, and the service is attentive and friendly, but I think the prices are too high, with portions worthy of a nouvelle cuisine restaurant, not an osteria. There shouldn't be a cover charge, considering you eat on paper placemats.

I went to this restaurant for dinner as a guest for a birthday party. Typical Piedmontese fare, tasty food, especially the appetizers, with incredibly tender veal cheek. Friendly staff. Worth a try.
