31/05/2025: Arrived with reservation at 7.30pm, they had no room and there were so many of us… booked 1 month in advance… wrong and missing pizzas, we had dinner in shifts after 10.30pm… never again…

31/05/2025: Dopo quattro anni dall’ultima volta la musica non è cambiata: pizza buona ma tempi troppo lunghi(quasi due ore d’attesa) e con diverse pizze del tavolo sbagliate.

30/05/2025: Ormai Benvenuti al Sud è diventato il mio posto preferito quando sono in zona. Ho prenotato telefonando a loro un’oretta prima del mio arrivo e il tavolino era stato a me riservato con tanto di cartellino personalizzato. Locale ben tenuto con personale affabile e gentile. Ho cenato molto bene, l’antipasto di zeppole bicolore con stracciatella e prosciutto crudo veramente buono! Un secondo di tonno con contorno di verdure grigliate e un buon bicchiere hanno completato la serata. La pizza, tipo napoletana, che non ho preso ieri ma avevo preso una altra volta è buonissima. Sicuramente un locale da provare… e riprovare!

27/05/2025: Ero già stata in passato in questo locale con una mia amica celiaca in quanto propone vari piatti gluten free. Le altre volte ho sempre mangiato primi piatti (molto buoni), mentre questa volta ho optato per l'hamburger. È stata un'ottima scelta in quanto ho assaggiato uno degli hamburger più buoni della mia vita: pane particolare e squisito, carne di qualità e due tocchi di genio che rendono questo panino davvero diverso: il lardo di patanegra e la maionese di peperoni cruschi... Mi hanno davvero deliziata!! Il tutto accompagnato da chips di patate artigianali! Anche la amica è rimasta molto contenta della pizza gluten free. Staff gentile, prezzi onesti. Torneremo sicuramente.

25/05/2025: Excellent Indian style restaurant, with statues and representations of Hindu deities. Excellent welcome, quality and preparation of typical Indian cuisine dishes. Excellent choice between à la carte dishes and various tasting menus.

10/06/2025: We had a wonderful lunch here. Beautiful dishes of wonderful food. An amazing view from the terrace over vineyards towards La Mora. We had trout tacos, ravioli with mushrooms and perfect crusted entrecote. Cooking was top notch and front of house warm and devoted to ensuring the diners have a nice time. Bravo!

03/06/2025: Perfect location between the center of Castiglione Falletto and the hill, with a huge free parking lot attached to the restaurant. beautiful view whether you eat inside on the windows, or outside in the summer. We had lunch outside in May, a spectacular day made special by the context of the restaurant. Cotton tablecloths, Sanbonet cutlery, Riedl glasses of great quality, with equally kind and friendly staff. Very interesting welcome plate, tastings of traditional cuisine revisited, good wine in general in a generous wine list. We had a good time from all points of view, we had the opportunity to relax with a beautiful landscape. It is a place suitable for both couples and families. Highly recommended. 18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

01/06/2025: In the authentic heart of Dogliani, where the hills stretch out like the pages of a novel and the air smells of history and lives lived slowly, stands Il Verso del Ghiottone, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, which perfectly embodies the poetry of the Piedmontese table. The cuisine is a hymn to the balance between tradition and creativity. The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. The second course, a boneless rabbit breast, stuffed with sausage and vegetables, is a true gastronomic narration: precise, balanced, respectful of peasant memory but with a modern touch. The dessert is a caress: the chocolate brittle with cream ice cream and chopped hazelnuts is pure poetry at the end, a cuddle that stays in the heart and on the palate. The selection of wines is excellent, in particular the Dogliani DOCG 2023 “Papà Celso” from the Azienda Agricola Abbona, which was able to accompany the meal with depth and character, telling the soul of the Langa in the glass. The kindness of Luca and Vittoria, as well as the refined company of Francesco and Valentina Rulfi, made the experience even brighter. A round of applause also for the cleanliness of the premises, with particular mention for the tidy and well-kept bathroom, a detail often overlooked, but here synonymous with attention and respect. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story. An unmissable stop for those seeking the true essence of gastronomic Piedmont, between beauty, taste and authenticity.

01/06/2025: We went to get an ice cream because it was so hot and Inter were losing 5-0. We went to the cashier and paid €3.50, an unfair price I must say. For the quantity/price ratio I must say it was really terrible!!!!!!!!. FOR €3.50 WE EXPECTED A GOOD ICE CREAM WITH AN ADEQUATE QUANTITY. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! SHAME!! And go Inter.

03/05/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was simply unforgettable. We tasted Piedmontese cuisine, with delicious dishes made with skill and faithfulness to the culinary traditions of the region. The raw materials used were of the highest quality, giving the dishes authentic and enveloping flavours. The service was impeccable. Nine of us were welcomed, including some children, and the lady who assisted us showed infinite patience and sweetness, making us make a wonderful impression on our friends from Rome, who were enthusiastic about the culinary experience. Although we were residents of Turin, we did not know this precious corner and now we are certain that it will become our point of reference for future trips out of town. We highly recommend anyone who wants to savor the true flavors of Piedmont to visit this restaurant: a gastronomic experience that is worth it! 🌟🍽️

15/03/2025: We chose the Antico Palter Restaurant to celebrate our little girl's 4th birthday. What can I say...place nestled in the hills, from the outside playground the view is breathtaking...internally revisited, everything chosen has its own reason. Cuisine: well only praise, for those who want simplicity but at the same time savor the delicacies of typical Piedmontese cuisine, you are in the right place! The wines are also excellent! There is certainly research behind it and nothing is left to chance. Luca the owner, an excellent host, prepared and meticulously meticulous, knows how to entertain and treat his guests like few others. Going there is a fixed stop for those who want to go on a trip or simply to eat well. We returned to Antico Palter to try the mixed fried food. Simple dish but not for everyone. Knowing how to do it as Piedmontese tradition dictates is not easy. Well theirs is simply very Piedmontese as tradition dictates! Whether it's savory or sweet, it's divine. The orange in the sweet fry is appreciated and apt, to be eaten last...

With a well-deserved Michelin star, this restaurant succeeds in the non-trivial feat of combining the profound identity of traditional cuisine with the courage of innovation. Our experience for my birthday with the “Breakfast for work” tasting menu (with the addition of some off-menu items) was a brilliant demonstration of this philosophy. From the small initial amuse-bouche to the final dessert, the path is coherent, without excess, but with flashes of originality that surprise and stimulate the palate. Particularly noteworthy was the first course, where the tradition of fresh pasta was combined with a sauce with unexpected nuances, a perfect balance between comfort food and research. The environment is elegant but not excessively formal, with an authentic warmth that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is attentive, friendly and well-prepared in guiding the guest through the proposals of chef Christian Milone, whose touch is perceived in every detail, from the plating to the balance of flavors.

09/05/2025: We had the privilege of dining at Trattoria Zappatori, choosing the 6 modern course tasting menu, created by chef Christian Milone and focused on the valorisation of hazelnuts and eggs, two symbolic ingredients of the Piedmontese territory, reinterpreted with creativity and precision. The selection of wines, curated with great professionalism by the sommelier for each individual course, was impeccable. Friendly, attentive and gifted with surprising intuition, she was able to enhance each dish with perfectly calibrated combinations, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special. We had the pleasure of dining in the secluded room overlooking the Zen garden, characterized by a modern fireplace which helped create an intimate and elegant atmosphere, perfect for celebrating our anniversary. A space that made the evening even more memorable. Each course was a journey through innovative flavours, with a presentation taken care of down to the smallest details, an expression of the mastery of the chef and his team. A true homage to Piedmontese cuisine reinterpreted in a modern key, capable of surprising and conquering even the most demanding palates. I highly recommend this experience to those who want to discover the more sophisticated and modern side of Piedmontese cuisine, accompanied by a high level of service made possible by the dining room staff who are extremely attentive to everything. Congratulations to all the staff for their excellent work!
