09/11/2025: First time in Val Grana. We went up for a unique Saturday in this beautiful valley with spectacular foliage. As we walked up to the Sanctuary, it was lunchtime when we noticed the sign for this fantastic inn. Patrizia welcomed us and cooked impeccably for us. Everything was delicious. She was friendly and very professional. Thank you, Patrizia. We will definitely be back. I forgot about the mountain-style decor and the priceless view. Excellent value. They make their own Castelmagno cheese, and you can buy it for yourself; it's delicious.

30/12/2025: It's a shame to give this rating, especially because we recognize the commitment and dedication of every member of the staff, including the chef (whom we wish a bright future). And we can't help but appreciate the location, the attention to detail, and the cleanliness. But when it comes to the food, our opinion changes. The dishes are overly salty, and above all, an attention to form that doesn't reflect the substance at all. Even the white truffle was lost in dishes that were supposed to showcase it. Based on our experience at other Michelin-starred restaurants, this one doesn't quite meet the same standards, except for the price.

21/12/2025: The food was excellent; nothing to complain about, but there was one incident, in my opinion, that was a bit crappy on the part of the staff. My two friends and I chose a tasting menu. The tasting menu page didn't mention adding cheese. Toward the end of the menu, a smiling waiter appeared and asked if we wanted to "try some cheese." I, thinking it was a courtesy, replied that I was full. I asked, "Can I try them, but just a little?" and was told that it was possible. My friend and I were brought two plates with four slices of cheese on top, accompanied by giardiniera and a slice of toasted bread (nothing special). The result? An extra €24 each on the bill (€48) for four slices of cheese. The first time I've been treated like this in a Michelin-starred restaurant. A real lapse in style.

02/05/2026: What can I say? We happened to pass by the restaurant just before opening and were greeted by Francesca's smile and vivacity. However, she was just the beginning of a crescendo of positive emotions that kept us returning every day for the duration of our short vacation... the courtesy and helpfulness of a family, but the cuisine and quality of the dishes on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant. I mention Francesca because we were the only ones who showed up, but I thank EVERYONE (and I apologize for not naming them individually) for the quality of the entire service... from the presentation of the dishes and the daily selections, to the attention to customer service and especially to food intolerances with more than satisfactory alternatives... those who have ears to hear, almost good is too much of an understatement, you are excellent! Thanks again and we will definitely see you again.

24/12/2025: Gourmet lunch in Piedmont Beautiful setting in a small Piedmont village, with attentive and fast service. We enjoyed an aperitif, two glasses of prosecco, and were served four entrées: a chickpea cone, a savory baba, a blue cheese and hazelnut tart, and tomato chips with fresh cream and anchovies with lemon jelly. Very special. There were several tasting menus available, as well as the à la carte menu. We chose the Territory and Tradition tasting menu for €70 per person. Typical Monferrato dishes presented with care. Piedmontese Fassona tartare, rosemary and mustard, smoked egg yolk and shallots, truly excellent. Traditional plinth, roast gravy and thyme, Piedmontese fillet, celeriac, black cabbage, and Bordeaux sauce. Everything was delicious. The pre-dessert, you either love it or hate it, was a very special vinegar sorbet. The dessert: I'm not...a Bonet! Made with the ingredients of a bunet. We were served a small pastry along with coffee and four small sweets. Drinks are not included. Cover charge is €5, 75cl water €4, and we spent €208 for two. Recommended for a special occasion.

Reviews speak of creative, well-structured cuisine featuring traditional Piedmontese dishes revisited with modern touches, thoughtful tastings, and excellent wine pairings. The vegetarian options are also well-received for their emphasis on seasonal ingredients. The setting, housed in a beautifully restored historic villa, is truly evocative, with a frescoed interior and refined atmosphere, perfect for a romantic evening or an important occasion.

11/04/2026: I celebrated my 50th birthday and everything was fantastic...the staff were professional and incredibly kind, and the food was delicious. We had the Piedmontese menu: the veal with tuna sauce was amazing, the agnolotti with roast beef sauce was amazing, and the stew with puree melted in your mouth...someone had the vegetarian menu and that was also delicious. Finally, the desserts were excellent...all excellent. Congratulations, we'll definitely be back!

11/04/2026: Everything was perfect. And if I say so, you can believe it: I live between Bologna and Riccione and frequent a lot of places. Here I found true professionalism, uncompromising quality, and impeccable service. The guys called me "king" (youth slang), but today they deserve the crown. 29/04/2026: A magical place. A breathtaking view. The place is clean and the outdoor seating is lovely. The meat is excellent, tasty, and perfectly cooked. The appetizers are all delicious. The menu also features a few Argentinean wines, which we tried and thoroughly enjoyed. For me, the only flaw is the paella. I wasn't entirely sold on it; it was a bit too soupy. Otherwise, it's definitely worth a try.

15/04/2026: Yesterday, I visited this wonderful restaurant for the first time with friends. Everything was exceptional, from the quality of the meat to the cooking. The service is incredible; the owner, Diego, has a passion that allows you to appreciate the excellence of the products even more. Let's not overlook the wine cellar, which has a very comprehensive selection for all price points and tastes. I will definitely return, even though it's quite far from where I live (1 hour and 40 minutes).
