28/12/2025: We had lunch at Il Torchio Restaurant and were truly thrilled. The highlight, surprising from the first moment, was the service: attentive without being intrusive, friendly, professional, and able to make us feel welcomed with ease. Every gesture was thoughtful, every explanation clear, every attention sincere. The ambiance helped make the experience even more enjoyable: elegant but not formal, warm, with meticulous attention to detail, with an atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy the moment. The cuisine also lived up to expectations: well-executed dishes, quality ingredients, and balanced flavors, tastefully presented without excess. A truly successful lunch, one my wife and I will fondly remember. We will definitely be back.

09/01/2026: Truly an excellent, high-end restaurant, yet accessible to everyone. Every time I come, I try new dishes, and they all amaze me. The seasonality and quality of the dishes are this restaurant's strong points, but the setting and service are also very attentive. The cuisine is innovative and well-executed. The homemade dark chocolate offered at the end of the dinner is also very much appreciated.

16/12/2025: Dinner for two on Saturday (reservations required). Excellent food with sophisticated pairings. The staff pays close attention to guests from the moment they enter the restaurant to the moment they leave. The complimentary items are much appreciated, providing a warm welcome and farewell, even in an elegant setting. The dishes are tastefully presented. Despite the nearly central location, I had no trouble finding parking.

16/01/2026: What can I say? A truly positive experience. The dishes were carefully prepared and delicious, the wine excellent, and the traditional Piedmontese cuisine—great classics that still amaze! We'll definitely be back!

24/12/2025: Located in the historic center of Ovada, the restaurant's simple elegance is a pleasant surprise. The menu is seasonal and uses top-quality ingredients. We enjoyed traditional Piedmontese appetizers, tagliolini with truffles, and gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese, and drank a selection of Monferrato wines. The price was reasonable and the service was attentive.

22/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner with friends and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly, smiling, and very helpful. The food was excellent, made with quality ingredients, and everything was superbly cooked. The mixed antipasto of cured meats and cheeses was delicious. The risotto was perfectly cooked, creamy, and not at all heavy. The homemade sorbet was delicious, and to finish, they offered us a complimentary liqueur. Compliments to all the staff. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone. 🔝

30/12/2025: Monferrato. First time dining. Elegant dining room, from the flooring to the furnishings. Quality service. Simple menu featuring natural, seasonal ingredients. Artichoke with meringue is the new addition. Silky potato gnocchi. Wine list includes Monferrato. Accessible by GPS, which reinforces the chef's dedication to creating a unique blend of contemporary tradition.

12/12/2025: The takoyaki are superb! I've been going there since it opened a few years ago. The other dishes are also excellent, and the sake is unique. The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the size of the place and the smell of fried food you leave with. It's still one of my favorite gourmet stops.

12/12/2025: It's rare to walk into a bar and feel right at home. Here, you're pampered by attentive and friendly service and can enjoy excellent products and delicious coffee. I personally recommend the dark chocolate croissant and the table by the window, which truly feels like a little corner of home. ❤️

07/12/2025: The restaurant is very charming and well-kept, but not very large, so reservations are recommended. The menu offers several gluten-free options. The appetizers are truly delicious, especially the raw meat. The first and second courses with meat were also excellent, all well-prepared and of high quality. In total, we spent €209 for 5 appetizers, 3 first courses, 1 second course, 4 desserts, water, wine, and 3 coffees. We left very satisfied.

05/01/2026: Trattoria/sandwich shop We ordered two sandwiches with local ingredients for lunch, spending about €20. They also offer typical Piedmont dishes: appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. Very good, highly recommended.

24/12/2025: I hadn't booked, but they welcomed us anyway, saving the day. Warm, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere: you feel at home... "pampered," as they say these days. Great service, a delightful owner, perfect Nebbiolo wine, seemingly simple and directly peasant cuisine, yet rich and elegant on the palate. The appetizer tasting highlights the meticulous attention to detail in the Russian salad (not overly acidic), the tartare (with separate dressings for individual customization), and the veal with tuna sauce, a smaller (and probably more expensive) but much more delicate cut. Gnocchi with Piedmontese toma cheese that didn't need to be chewed...they melted between your tongue and palate! Cheeks in a wine sauce that again didn't need to be chewed, except for the tactile desire to taste their softness. Zabaglione with krumiri...idyllic. The Bunet...there...slightly subdued compared to the absolute excellence of the rest. I have to thank you for the fantastic experience. We will return as soon as possible. Thanks again.

22/12/2025: A historic Piedmontese osteria in the heart of Casale Monferrato, known for its traditional Monferrato and Piedmontese cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and a family passion. The menu features classics such as bagna cauda, ​​Albese-style raw meat, homemade agnolotti, boiled meats with their sauces, and artisanal desserts, all accompanied by an excellent wine list featuring local Barolo, Nebbiolo, and Barbera.

05/01/2026: A very beautiful venue, with truly attentive and pleasant service, never intrusive and always attentive. The amuse-bouche was delicious, and the wines were interesting and unusual, with those by the glass excellent. Among the dishes, the raw fish was excellent. Tagliolini with cuttlefish, red mullet, and cavolo nero were a bit disjointed; I expected a more intense flavor. The risotto was good, though again a bit shy of seafood flavors. The cod was interesting; not all the pieces were tender, but very good. The tenerina was fantastic, the tarte tatin base could be improved, and the semifreddo was delicious. A special mention goes to the fresh and dried fruit after dessert, further confirming the excellent service. Prices are reasonable for the location, so certainly not cheap, but justified.

03/01/2026: The vegetarian main course on New Year's Eve wasn't freshly cooked, but just reheated. It tasted like it had come from the microwave and was completely dried out. It was inedible. The bottle of wine we ordered arrived late and only after we asked again. Otherwise, the service was adequate. We wanted to change tables due to our poor location (directly in front of the kitchen entrance). This wasn't possible, even though another table became available. A lack of flexibility.
