We went to Osteria del Frate for Easter lunch, and beyond a very reasonable price for everything we ate, the service was impeccable. Not to mention the dining room staff who were courteous and helpful in all our requests. And last but not least, the food was delicious! Absolutely recommended in every respect!

I found the place by chance and it was a surprise, from the dishes to the price. I just noticed everything was a little too salty. Advised!

Two tasting menus, one better than the other, a very kind host, a very quiet and homely environment and, to finish, an excellent apple pie!

excellent welcome, after the aperitif offered with a glass of prosecco we proceed to order two Piedmontese fixed menus, following an exquisite discussion with the waitress in the room we go to opt for a house red, after a few moments we are served some excellent wine white (excellent, but not in accordance with our request) subsequently we reiterate our request for red wine (we had never done so). the wine is acidic and difficult to taste. in any case the courses were excellent with the exception of the gnocchi which in my opinion is purely personal we could have drained two minutes early. I recommend it for those who want to eat in a hospitable environment, but be satisfied with drinking. (IN RELATION TO THE FIXED MENU).

I was attracted by the positive reviews and I can confirm every single word. The staff is very kind and immediately puts you at ease, recommending typical dishes and suggesting the best combinations. I probably ate the best vitello tonnato in the world and I must say that at first I was skeptical... well, who has never eaten vitello tonnato at home? It's a standard dish! No it is not. It's an easy dish to make, but difficult to make excellent and this one was Excellent. Agnolotti with roast sauce? If the lady didn't take my plate away I'd eat that too. To finish, an excellent warm apple pie. What was the price of all this, including cover charge, water and a welcome glass of prosecco? 20 euro. I don't think there are any excuses not to return

Ristorante carino vicino al centro. Personale gentile e professionale. Cibo buono, forse un po’ troppo salato, almeno per i miei gusti.

Con Fabrizio una tappa nuova. Personale rapido, piatti del menu degustazione di buona fattura, porzioni soddisfacenti, buono il vino rosso in bottiglia. I prezzi assolutamente corretti. Molto comodo per il parcheggio del mercato di corso Palestro che di notte offre posto per l'auto.
