28/07/2024: Excellent restaurant. Fresh ingredients and high quality seafood. The owner, Mr. Claudio, monitors everything closely, which gave us a lot of comfort. The view of the sea of Capri is wonderful!

10/08/2024: Location in a strategic area near the airport. Stopped for lunch, I had octopus salad (good) and spaghetti with anchovies (failed). The guys who serve are very kind and the place is very welcoming and well-kept. Good value for money all in all. The real problem is the timing, half an hour for the pasta, so much so that I thought they had forgotten to order. The somewhat resentful restaurateur told me that they prepare everything at the moment and therefore these are the technical times. Maybe, but my pasta was also overcooked and the sauce too watery... If you don't have time problems go there, still worth a try.

21/08/2024: Memore di cene favolose del passato, di quelle di pesce proprio memorabili, sono ritornata con la mia famiglia e purtroppo la delusione e’ stata cocente. Dozzinale, poco curato, servizio mediocre e piatti scialbi. Ho addirittura avuto la sensazione che nella frittura a di gamberi bianchi, acciughe e baccalà navigasse parecchio surgelato. Crudi niente di che e ostriche da dimenticare. Peccato. E’ stata proprio una delusione

27/08/2024: Siamo andati altre volte in compagnia e sabato in coppia servizio sempre eccellente ragazze molto educate, e non è poco, cibo eccellente dalla carne i fritti e la pizza .....mi manca da provare il pesce e dalle foto che vedo sul sito è molto invitante. Sicuro ci torneremo

26/08/2024: è stata la riconferma della nostra prima impressione di un mese fa. questa volta siamo stati a cena, in coppia, ed è stato tutto perfetto. ottima organizzazione dei tavoli e del flusso delle persone. gentilezza e professionalità. cibo molto buono, preparato con cura, fresco e saporito. ottimo calice di vino bianco consigliato dal proprietario. La volta scorsa, in compagnia di amici, abbiamo mangiato altrettanto bene ma non sapevamo se l'esperienza si sarebbe riconfermata anche questa volta quindi siamo andati anche un po' incuriositi. Voto ottimo. Ci ritorniamo appena riaprono dopo la chiusura estiva.

16/08/2024: Optimal. At first glance it seems like a classic tourist stroll, but it turned out to be a pleasant discovery. The owner and the staff are very friendly and nice but what surprised us the most is the food. The presentation of the dishes is very beautiful and above all good and plentiful, the quality of the ingredients is evidently excellent. 10/10 for the risotto. I highly recommend stopping by.

30/07/2024: The food was great, the ambiance was modern, but the service was lacking. It's a fantastic meal and the flavors are amazing, but for $100+/person, you'd expect your food to come on time and for the servers to be at the top of their game. The service and attention we started with quickly deteriorated after our first main dish. The restaurant filled up and suddenly our waitress became a waiter, then the host, then the bus boy, and so on and so forth. We waited around a bit long for our main course - the amberjack fish and roasted beef was divine - which by then we were starting to get full from waiting. The flavors here are great. Some dishes shine in their simplicity, some in their complexity. One or two were a bit much or a bit shy, but for 95% of the food, it was beautiful and delicious. Compliments to the kitchen for what they create. Unfortunately, besides the service, the one caveat is that the tiramisu will not blow your mind. I heard that perhaps it's due to new mgmt not being as interested in making it the restaurant's main dish. Anyway, we've had better tiramisu. Not 100% if the mascarpone had enough egg ratio in there.

24/07/2024: Delicious restaurant with an broad menu of sea food specialties and a nice wine selection. If you make reservations, you can ask to sit directly by the sea, enjoying the beautiful scenery while indulging in their delicious food. One of the best Tiramisu’s I’ve every had (many ;)

24/08/2024: Ormai sono alcuni anni che almeno un pasto, quando siamo qui in vacanza, veniamo a farlo qui. La cortesia e la professionalità non ci deludono mai, la ricerca delle materie prime è sempre ottima e chi le maneggia le sa sfruttare al meglio. Che dire, se sono anni che torniamo e i piatti che ci portano tornano ogni volta in cucina praticamente puliti e “scarpettati”, secondo voi come si mangia? Bravissimi.

19/08/2024: Last night we came to eat in this place, and I must say that everyone ate very well, I took the tagliatelle with marinara and I must say they were very tasty to eat, then I tasted the very good mixed fried food, the chips were delicious and crunchy and then we took tiramisu and it was very creative to do it and also very good. The waitresses were very kind and polite, I will return to this place. Highly recommended for those who really like fish

The place is perfect, elegant but not pretentious, the service pleasant and not stiff, the staff attentive and attentive but not intrusive. It is clear that they have also invested in the preparation of the dining room staff. Well done. The dishes are simply perfect, very fresh fish prepared with style but without excess. The restaurant has an amazing food menu but also less important bottles suitable for a quiet dinner. Perhaps the greatest advantage is precisely that of being a place capable of welcoming wealthy tourists as well as normal people, thrilling both. It makes you feel good to dine at La Tana del Pirata.

24/06/2024: Ho mangiato una pizza in compagnia: l'impasto era davvero buono, ma forse ho sbagliato la tipologia di pizza (nel menu era indicato crema di zucca e la pizza presentava zucca a pezzi).. ad ogni modo ho mangiato bene. Non pensavo facesse anche ristorante, me ne sono accorta dopo in quanto non ci era stato portato il menù della cucina. Consiglio il locale per una pizzata senza pretese e in allegra compagnia.
