14/09/2025: Very nice place on the beach. Very good and fresh fish. We had spaghetti with clams, stuffed calamari, and calamari and shrimp skewers. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: What a wonderful place! Enjoying the beautiful weather as we walked in Salò in November we were ready to eat and Cantinone was the perfect place. The space inside was warm and welcoming as was the entire staff. The antipasto of local fish was excellent as was the Gnocchi and Mazzo di olio. If you are in the area I highly recommend Cantinone.

31/10/2025: A nice family restaurant in the town of Salò. The best of all that we visited during our stay. Excellent food, very tasty local wine and the indispensable Italian "dolce" at the end are served by a nice and very kind staff. If you eat in Salò, then definitely in Cantino! THANK YOU <3

26/11/2025: This restaurant is near Santa Croce, but on a somewhat confusing street where even the GPS system would get stuck trying to find it. It's accessible to the disabled, but there's no parking; the closest one is on Sant'Ambrogio. The restaurant is very elegant, almost refined, but perhaps with too many waiters; two people serve you almost every time, and they're often crowded together near the door. The menu is Neapolitan, offering both classic and gourmet pizzas at reasonable prices, even considering other pizzerias. As soon as we sat down, they asked us if we'd like a bubbly (thinking it was free, we took it given the way they almost offered it to you when telling you, but instead...) then we had a second serving of frittatine (good, but they made a mistake and they got some montanarine, which I sent back, and the correct dish arrived after 20 minutes) and for the main course, two gourmet pizzas, the Intrusa and the Florence (good, but we waited an hour for these, ridiculous for pizzas. I asked for them twice and when they arrived they didn't even apologize, so when it came to the bill, I mentioned it and they said they'd mixed up the tablets, but the fact that the people who arrived after us already had it under their lips as a waiter makes me wonder). All accompanied by two small beers and a still water. As for dessert, they only had two options, which we didn't try, and we finished with a coffee and an amaro. Please note: when you book a table at this place, there are two sittings. We chose the second one, at 9:30 PM, but we arrived well in advance, at 8:35 PM, and it was also empty, so we sat down. Secondly, as you can see from the photos, the menus are different. The one outside has some dishes, while the one you'll find with the QR code inside is missing or missing many (our phones didn't have reception inside, so the menus wouldn't open, so I asked for a paper one and they forgot about it. Luckily, the phone has since regained some life, otherwise it would have been years before we had a menu). All things considered, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Waiting all that time for pizzas that weren't even that great as the other reviews made it seem isn't worth it. The bubbles that seemed like a freebie when they arrived on the bill were way overpriced for a pizzeria. And after all that waiting time and the wrong dish arriving, at least an apology or a complimentary coffee would have been the least I could do, but it's clear that building customer loyalty, saving yourself from bad reviews, or not turning away a disgruntled customer isn't something everyone can do. Dinner time ---> starts at 8:35 PM ----> ends at 11:20/11:30 PM...and that says it all.

An extraordinary menu based on quality products crafted with respect and love. An experience worth repeating regularly to keep your spirits high. See you next time!!!

23/11/2025: Welcoming restaurant. Quality food and dishes. Prices are a bit high, but in line with the quality. The service isn't worthy of a 5-star rating because we had to wait more than 30 minutes for one course before we could all eat together. Furthermore, they didn't let us know the kitchen was closing so we could enjoy the other dishes.

23/11/2025: Very vintage, but within its characteristic niche, there's nothing to complain about. It's primarily a caciuccheria, and it's the kind of excellence it needs.

23/11/2025: A truly welcoming restaurant, the cacciucco is excellent, the real cacciucco. We didn't wait long, so the service was impeccable and friendly. A very fun evening with family and friends. Make a reservation!!! I highly recommend it.

29/11/2025: Beautiful place, very kind, friendly, and always available staff. We had 2 pizzas and 2 plates of spaghetti with clams, they were delicious. The gentleman who served us was super kind, and at the end of the dinner he offered us some fantastic cookies 🍪. We will gladly return here.

24/11/2025: I've always come here for a 5-star pizza, but this time I opted for a mixed fry. It was a 2-star disappointment. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'll be back because the pizza is worth it. A word of advice: checking the dishes brought to your table would avoid certain pitfalls.

09/11/2025: Sunday lunch The place isn't very large, but it's nice and well-kept, and it's fully stocked, so it's a bit crowded and noisy. The fish was excellent; we chose scialatielli alla liparota, and the mussels were excellent, very fresh, as were the clams and prawns. We also had pasta with sardines, tasty and delicate. Afterwards, we shared a mix of calamari and prawns, peeled, tender, and delicious. Finally, we had cannoli with very fresh ricotta. In short, a good lunch!

06/10/2025: I really liked it. The staff is friendly and professional, and the dishes, mostly seafood, are delicious and reasonably priced. The chef is very friendly and quick. We'll be back and will recommend it.

12/12/2025: Two of us went to Pizzotto with a reservation. As soon as we arrived, they showed us to our table immediately, with courtesy and kindness. They recommended I start with a cocktail, and I chose a Negroni. Without asking, they also offered me a generous portion of potato chips, a much-appreciated treat. We chose two pizzas, one "gourmet" which I highly recommend, with excellent ingredients and plenty of it. My partner chose a simple Margherita with kamut dough (being gluten-intolerant), which was also truly delicious. They even brought her packaged cutlery to avoid cross-contamination. In these cases, attention to detail is very important given the delicate nature of the matter. My compliments! Finally, we rounded out the dinner with an almond parfait, also gluten-free, which was delicious! They even gave us a discount at the end, truly kind. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for those with gluten intolerances. You will find everything here, completely safe! Thanks again.

09/11/2025: Everything was exceptional! Luckily, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, which isn't as famous as others. We had a wonderful meal (an A+ for everything), home-cooked food, and not the usual fried calamari you find everywhere, but seasonal dishes prepared with great skill. The attention to detail was meticulous, and the place was very pleasant inside and out, not to make up for the crowds, but to pamper guests. I appreciated the staff, who were much friendlier than at any other restaurant in Lignano, but at the same time impeccable in their service. I didn't have to wait long for my food, and the price was reasonable. I highly recommend it to everyone, even those with children. I also really appreciated two other things: the tray in the bathroom with products available for guests in case of emergency (a fantastic idea) and the message on the menu (I won't tell you, you'll have to read it). My family and I felt truly welcomed!
