09/08/2025: Showed up at noon to plenty of empty seats and was still turned away. The middle-aged hostess was shockingly rude and condescending, barely even looked at me while speaking. I left feeling insulted and unwelcome. Don’t waste your time coming all the way out here — it’s not close to anything and parking is difficult.

07/08/2025: Caution! The cash register is broken, so it's cash only. I exchanged cash nearby... I found this place on YouTube. It's about an 8-minute walk from the station. The pasta is firm, al dente. A liter of white wine is perfect for quenching my thirst. I ordered octopus carpaccio, pasta, and seafood frites. I arrived around 12:30, and it was quieter than I expected. It's not amazing, but it's a delicious restaurant.

15/08/2025: Wonderful! There is no other adjective to describe our stay at Villa Garden! We already knew the property having visited for 2 years in a row in 2016 and 2017, but today, after many years, we returned with our 1-year-old child and it was a fairytale stay! The welcome of Dario and Samantha and the culinary specialties of Vincenzo did nothing but pamper us for every day of our holiday! All framed by a well-kept place, by the ever-green flowerbeds and by the always perfect and clean swimming pool! We left a piece of our heart there once again. I hope to return next year too! 05/08/2025: Super friendly and helpful staff, charming, relaxing location, welcoming, clean rooms with every comfort. I'd also like to add that finding people who always welcome you with extreme kindness and a smile is not a given, so congratulations to everyone.

08/09/2025: Don't be fooled by the truly charming location, but the waiters are inattentive and/or lack even the most basic foundations of restaurant hospitality. The prices are exorbitant for questionable dishes. We ordered two squid ink risottos with sea urchins (a whopping €30 each), and within about five minutes, we were served a pre-cooked risotto with zero flavor! Needless to say, it wasn't added to our bill (it seems the least we could do). Since we only ordered a taste, I'll draw a veil over the other orders. In San Vito lo Capo, there are places that offer very respectable menus. Not recommended!

25/08/2025: Friendly and attentive service. The place is clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor area and a singer. The food presentation was excellent. We had pizzoccheri served on a very distinctive plate, and Haidi's grandfather's tagliolini, which were delicious, made with pancetta and parmesan shavings, tomatoes, and radicchio. The fruit salad with ice cream was truly rich in fruit. Prices were average.

23/08/2025: We visited this restaurant this evening, my first time there, and it was a pleasant surprise, not only for the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail, but also for the delightful welcome "tagliatelle" (a small piece of tagliatelle)—a truly classy touch. The skewer was truly spectacular, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a lemon and bay leaf "salina" that gave the game just the right acidity, giving it that extra something. I would have loved to try all the desserts, but I was intrigued by the Braulio sorbet, which was truly remarkable. Well, I'd say we have all the ingredients, at least for us, to give it a full 5 stars, with further compliments to Chef Luca and the entire staff. I can't wait to return!

03/09/2025: Superb fish restaurant that also has fantastic fish pastas and very good home made deserts. The family who own it are very friendly and take the time to explain everything in English.

26/08/2025: An excellent fish restaurant, with only the decor reminiscent of a trattoria. My only criticism here would be that the decor is too chaotic and distracts too much from the food. The lighting concept with its varied light sources creates an additional sense of unease. The food is truly fabulous. The grilled sardines, marinated in a kind of onion broth, were my highlight. The spaghetti with fish roe was a bit too salty for me, and the pistachio mixture didn't completely convince me. The carpaccio, on the other hand, was. Although it's a fish restaurant, they offer incredibly delicious desserts that far exceed the standards of a classic Italian restaurant. The chocolate tart tastes deliciously of chocolate, not sugar. The service is attentive and courteous. You should allow yourself some time in the evening, as the dishes are freshly prepared and you do have to wait a bit between courses. All in all, it was a culinary delight.

26/07/2025: A restaurant that has consistently maintained excellent quality and service over the years. Dinner with attentive and knowledgeable service. We ordered only fish dishes, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality, with minimal processing, preserving their flavors. The steamed fish was very delicate... shame about the tomato gazpacho... because it was delicious... I would have liked more! The fregola pasta was an explosion of flavor... I think it's the only dish where they were more daring with the bold flavors! The linguine with scallops carbonara was well-executed. The wine list pays attention to the local area, but not only that.

31/07/2025: Small restaurant just outside the city center, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The garden is adjacent to two busy thoroughfares but is adequately protected by fences and hedges. There's no parking, but finding a spot in the area isn't difficult. The staff is helpful, courteous, and homely, but the highlight is definitely the seafood. We had a truly wonderful meal: cold appetizers, gratin dishes, pasta with peeled lobster, and a delicious Sanpiero with potatoes for three, all delicious! The price is obviously commensurate with the ingredients, but in my opinion, it's lighter than many other restaurants.

09/08/2025: What more can we say than to use the word... extraordinary! ... A typical, local trattoria with perfectly high-quality products. The starter was homemade linguine, and it's true, it was to die for. The gorgonzola/pistachio sauce was delicious. My partner enjoyed a beef carpaccio with truffles. ... the word "delight" isn't strong enough. For the second course, the baked sausage was delicious and the beef was of high quality. And let's not even talk about dessert... I'm still salivating! An ice cream of incredible creaminess. A very pleasant bottle of white wine from the Cinque Terre. We let the owner choose, and it was unrivaled value for money. And above all, the grappa with its hazelnut flavors is the best we've ever had, and yet... we're both fans and connoisseurs of this spirit. And to top it all off, we became friends with the owners at closing time, and the house offered us a limoncello made on site... a delight that makes us never want to drink this unparalleled nectar anywhere else. In short, the best discovery of our stay. If we ever come back within 200 kilometers, the detour will be a must!!! Highly recommended. Usually there's always a negative point, but here I... won't find any, and that's rare. Yet we are demanding. Ludo (clubfiatissimo) and Mali See you soon and thank you again for this great meeting.

11/06/2025: We were at the Il Faggio restaurant in Pollone and we can only express our enthusiasm for the experience. Local cuisine with attention to detail, dishes rich in flavor and elegantly presented, all in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by the greenery of the Burcina park. A special thanks goes to the owner, for the sincere hospitality and passion that shines through in every aspect of the restaurant, and to the waiter Stefan, attentive, kind and always smiling, who made our lunch even more enjoyable with his professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommended to those looking for an authentic and quality experience in the Biella area. We will definitely be back!
