But dare to venture off the beaten path and you'll discover this delightful restaurant where your eyes and taste buds will be delighted, and to top it all off, the service is excellent. Don't be afraid to explore beyond the usual tourist routes.

20/10/2025: The best plate we had was the appetizer, a fried tormino cheese that was amazing! For main we had a ravioli filled with seabass and artichoke and a veal ragu pasta - both were ok. For dessert a tiramisu, that was really good and a tartufo ice cream that was ok. The staff was nice.

I was truly impressed by this restaurant: the atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, the staff is friendly and always available, and the dishes… simply delicious! Each course is prepared with fresh, quality ingredients and presented impeccably. I especially recommend the fish dishes, a true masterpiece of flavor. Excellent value, quick and friendly service. 27/10/2025: .....it was a friend's recommendation that persuaded us to stop there.....even though we arrived shortly after 2 p.m., after the official opening time, we were still able to order....we had mussels in tomato sauce and parpadelle with seafood....both were delicious and filling....the service was extremely friendly and attentive....and even though they were already closed, they even offered us dessert and/or espresso, etc....great! Thanks and keep up the good work!!!!!!!

12/09/2025: We had to wait 2 hours to realize our order hadn't been placed. They told us our dishes were on their way. We even paid the cover charge. Crazy!

01/09/2025: Great place, we had a great time at Anima e Cuore. Smiling and attentive waiters, very pleasant. The dishes were very good, up to our expectations. A menu offering pizzas as well as typical Salento land and sea specialties. I recommend 100%!

11/10/2025: Top location, on a central street, near Casino San Remo, perfect cuisine, with perfect service from each of the staff. But with perfect service and attitude towards the customer is Amin. I recommend everyone to visit this place! We will come back again!

30/09/2025: La Villetta is an excellent restaurant. Meticulous attention to detail and refined. The owner, Felice, is a delightful person and always ready to accommodate every need. The food is top-notch. The freshest ingredients, top-quality fish. The cuisine is excellent, both in preparation and presentation. The finished product is a feast for the eyes and the palate. Each dish showcased a quality and flavor that told a story of tradition and culinary excellence. There's a wide selection of wines and beverages. The waiters are always available, and above all, there's always a dedicated waiter for each table. Once you try this location, you'll be completely satisfied. Ours was an evening ceremony, but it's also ideal for couples' or business dinners. Highly recommended.

17/09/2025: The service is absolutely nonexistent! Everyone stares at the waiter, who works alone, with hungry eyes. The food is delicious, but the portions are very small. We never got dessert! This was our worst experience in Sirmione, I don't recommend it.

17/09/2025: A very nice restaurant quite close to the lake. My mom and I stopped for dinner and each had three courses (appetizer, first course, and dessert), accompanied by a nice glass of Franciacorta. The service was excellent and very attentive; the owner works in the dining room with her nephew, and they are truly lovely. At the end of the dinner, we were offered a delicious myrtle liqueur. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and I highly recommend this place for couples or friends.

20/09/2025: It was such a pleasure dining here! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just perfect. We especially loved that it wasn’t crowded, so we could enjoy our meal in peace. The prices were very reasonable, not expensive at all. Truly a hidden gem!

30/10/2025: Top marks for this fantastic place: the owners' dedication is evident in the quality of the fresh fish and the preparation of the dishes, all exquisite 🤩 Among the offerings, the raw fish tasting will satisfy fish lovers, although it would be a shame to miss the Catalan-style lobster steak, a perfectly executed appetizer! The risotto, perfectly cooked and with bold flavors, and the spectacular desserts demonstrate the chef's mastery. Congratulations! Bonus: the chef's thoughtfulness when it came to dessert, since it was a dinner to celebrate our anniversary, speaks volumes about his concern for his guests. But then there are other things to review about a restaurant, and there too, everything was perfect: a refined and elegant venue, a romantic atmosphere, adorable staff (owner and waitress), a beautiful wine selection... There's one last thing to consider: the bill. Perhaps the only item where the quality isn't top-notch (I mean, the prices are good), thus offering excellent value for money. It was a perfect evening and a wonderful discovery. We'll definitely be back. 😊

07/09/2025: A wonderful restaurant in Milan! 🦞🦪 The seafood is fresh and delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. The service is top-notch, with attentiveness, speed, and care. I would also like to mention the owner, who is incredibly hospitable and creates a cozy and festive atmosphere. The prices were pleasantly surprising, offering excellent value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant!

21/09/2025: We came with our children. It was a great place. The friendly staff was very kind. We dined outside. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming. Quality food, very reasonable at around €15 per person.

16/10/2025: My dear readers, unfortunately, today I won't be able to surprise you, and I'm truly sorry about that! Assuntina restaurant located in Testaccio, Rome, really disappointed me, as so many of you have read my recommendations!! Now over 200,000 and it makes me happy because I remain a suitable critic to tell only the truth! The raw materials, the fish, are fresh, yes, but there is no way that in the heart of Rome they don't know how to cook because the chef is not up to the task!!!! We are in Rome and you have to have Italian cuisine; the prices are disproportionate!!!! The fried cod was light and delicious, the chickpea sauce was a heavy mass, dry and stringy, the fried anchovies were tender but overcooked, and even the fried food needs to be cooked at the right temperatures, and the orange mayonnaise was heavy!!!! We're not there yet! Now comes the best part!!!! The risotto with cream of scampi (worth the trip just for the fresh and giant scampi)! ...Inedible, it tasted only of spiced cream at €25, mind-blowing! The spaghetti with clams had sand in it and the pasta was clumps and salty, the ravioli made by them were rejected because they were too tall, too stuffed, dry and undercooked! The Gewurztraminer wine was good, but an €8 wine can't cost €25 as it wasn't a DOC. I'll post a photo of the wine in question later! And then, dear readers, you know that I come from the sea and on certain things I just can't overlook!!!! When you taste the best, you can't go back and make it worse, and today I found myself truly disappointed, and a piece of advice I give to the owner of the Assuntina restaurant is: modernize the place a bit and hire a good chef, it's all in the kitchen, you need the basics!!!! Compliments to the waiting staff, very attentive, precise and polite, for them a Bell 8 on the report card! And as always, love to all of you! Romina.

15/10/2025: I ordered a risotto with mixed seafood and a small beer. The seafood was stinky especially the mussels. I reported to the waiter but he insisted that it was normal. The napkin was not clean as well (could be a footprint or whatever I don’t know) Not the best seafood you can find in Rome, I don’t think I will come back again.

02/09/2025: Literally the best sushi in the entire area... (and beyond!) The highest quality and attention to detail, at a price that truly left us speechless. And the great background music, too... which never hurts! Incredible value for money. We'll be back again and again.

20/08/2025: WARNING: My review is significantly different from the previous ones. The experience was completely negative on every front. The service was improvised, and the courtesy and professionalism were lacking. The rolls chosen by the chef left us completely dissatisfied: too much rice, not enough fish, and no ingredients that really stood out. You don't remember them; they were disappointing. The udon noodles were almost cloyingly submerged in soy sauce, and the portion was small for an a la carte dish. While we were waiting to pay, due to a bathroom issue, the staff argued loudly, causing great embarrassment to those in line at the register (including the chef, who kindly apologized to the customers...). Furthermore, alas, paying cash meant we had to ask the register staff for a receipt. You know? It's awful to go out to eat, willing to spend even more, expecting the a la carte menu advertised by the "red shrimp" and then find yourself JUST wanting to leave.

09/10/2025: Excellent food, truly delicious, refined cuisine with unique dishes made with the freshest ingredients. Excellent wine list. If you're in the Trapani area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant in Paceco. It's a shame the service was so sloppy. They excused themselves by saying they were having a staffing emergency. However, the kindness never wavered.

08/10/2025: This small restaurant is located in the second row, but should definitely not be overlooked. We were there for dinner. The chef himself cooks here, and he does it really well. For starters, we had mussels and octopus alla locanda, and for the main course, we had linguine with shellfish and paccheri with swordfish and eggplant. Everything was excellent 👍 and at a reasonable price.
