02/07/2024: I was at Villa Anton for a wedding and I was very impressed by the care that was given on every occasion, by the hospitality and availability. Excellent food, truly beautiful place with beautiful corners that lend themselves to souvenir photos.

12/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante sabato 10 agosto. Il Sig. Antonio, 77enne proprietario ed animatore del locale, ci ha accolto come fossimo gli amici di sempre. Vi siamo intrattenuti cantando con lui e mangiando in maniera fantastica. Consigliatissimo.

06/07/2024: I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife. The place is quite small, I'd say about fifteen seats, located on one side of the Torraccia square. Even if the location is nothing special, it is still welcoming. Once you enter, the magic happens: you are welcomed by the owner and chef Andrea and all his expertise, passion and friendliness. My advice is to forget about the menu and get advice from him, you certainly won't regret it. We did this and everything was perfect, from the wine (which if I remember correctly was called "Micagnente" or something similar), to the starters and so on up to the dessert and digestives. A mix of revisited tradition and innovation, all supported by quality products, study and good taste. It was all very good, if I really had to make a choice I would say the best were the crunchy vegetable meatballs and the onion tartare (not having seen the menu I'm making up the names 😅), but all the starters were special (the cheese moussines also deserve a mention). stuffed ricotta and venison ham), the gricia with asparagus was also very good, less memorable were the gorgonzola, rocket and honey strips (or jam of something, I don't remember). A note also about the table service offered by a very young boy (whose name unfortunately I don't remember) with the same passion and friendliness as chef Andrea. Don't expect formality or impeccable professionalism, but you will certainly feel at home. It's like having a chef brother and going to dinner at his house... We will definitely be back to try the other specialties!

01/07/2024: Sara perché era una domenica assolata di fine giugno, per cui a pranzo eravamo solo io e mio padre, siamo stati accolti benissimo e coccolati. Abbiamo preso i piatti consigliati dallo staff e tutti erano buonissimi e cucinati/preparati al monento. I piatti della tradizione romana sono reinterpretati con inventiva e le combinazioni insolite (cacio e pepe con lime e mentuccia) una picevole sorpresa. Piavevole anche la chiaccherta con Andrea, il gestore del piccolo ma accogliente locale. Consigliato

30/08/2024: Found on the Internet, tried in the "dark". Excellent and jovial welcome, well organised, particular and pleasant environment. Excellent choice of food and drinks, tried the sea bass with cherry tomatoes, a delicacy. I also recommend it because it is well located in the city center. Only recommendation: book promptly. Normal prices, quality in power. I'll be back.

We had a fish starter and a tasting of starters, always fish, two fish first courses, a dessert, a bottle of white wine, water, bitters, all for €105.

06/08/2024: Lovely little spot. Termini is blessed with two great food spots - this place feels like an old school local haunt, whereas the place up the road is decidedly fancier. You won’t really go wrong with either. The food here was very tasty, and very cheap. The catch of the day was particularly nice. It felt like a real community hub - there was a dog lying in the doorway like a napping bouncer.

26/08/2024: Vista l'esperienza molto positiva con amici, sono ritornato a cena con la famiglia. Questa volta ho voluto provare un menu' a base di carne, a differenza della volta precedente che ho provato un menu' a base di pesce, per rendermi effettivamente conto della bontà del locale e della preparazione delle pietanze. Devo riconoscere che, oltre all'ospitalità e professionalità, anche il menù a base di carne era veramente ottimo. Ho preso un antipasto di vitello tonnato e come secondo una tagliata. Entrambi ottimi in special modo la carne della tagliata, piatto che spesso prendo anche in altri locali per provare le differenze. Carne ben cucinata a cottura media ed estremamente morbida. Che dire di più, a mio giudizio un bel 10, anche per il personale attento e gentile. Lo raccomando sentitamente.

21/07/2024: An unexpected discovery, in a suburb where you wouldn't expect to find such a high quality of service and product. Price not low but in line with the product. Excellent raw fish, as are Scalvini's mixed starters.

02/08/2024: My family and I stayed in a villa just 100 meters down the road from La Taverna for 7 nights. We ate at La Taverna Del Leone 4 times during our trip, as we liked it that much. We found it to be the best out of all meals we had in Italy and we dined in Naples, Positano, Capri, and Ravello. The service is unmatched and the food and wine are stellar.

26/07/2024: The extreme quality of their pizzas is surprising. The best we have had after 8 days in Italy and passing through Rome and Naples (no less). Baked with whole wheat flour, in a wood-fired oven and with a buffalo mozzarella base. Awesome. Incredible winery and attentive service Worth

10/07/2024: Hervorragende Qualität und eine abgestimmte Speisenfolge im Menü. Hier kommt der Fischgenießer voll auf seine Kosten. Klasse Service und aufmerksame Küche. Die Getränke und Weinauswahl ist top. Unbedingt auch die Desserts probieren. Privat als auch geschäftlich sehr zu empfehlen

16/06/2024: Locale è bello, cogliente e pulito. I piatti sono di buona qualità, però le portate sono troppo piccole e siamo in una osteria comunque Siamo usciti affamati I camerieri sembrano stufati, e ti fanno sentire a disagio. Uno più del altro, ma i nomi non ricordo.

08/07/2024: Abbiamo scelto di pranzare in questo locale ed una uggiosa domenica di luglio si è trasformata in una piacevolissima esperienza. Siamo stati coccolati e consigliati in maniera egregia dal titolare Matteo. Tanta passione e attenzione nella ricerca delle materie prime e tutto questo viene trasmesso al cliente. Vino proposto perfetto! Ci torneremo sicuramente.
