06/04/2026: My husband, my 8-year-old son, and a friend of mine introduced us to this restaurant. We had come from Milan to visit friends. On the evening of April 3, 2026, we entered this charming restaurant and were literally taken on a journey through the seafood dishes the chef creates based on the catch of the day. We ate the set menu, featuring various appetizers of raw fish combined with ingredients I would never have imagined, but which were incredibly delicious. The first course was seafood lasagna, the freshest fried fish with the perfect light breading, and battered vegetables. The still white house wine was sublime. For dessert, the panna cotta topped with berries, caramel, or chocolate shavings was truly divine. All this for €50 a head, but I must say it was well spent and the portions were truly generous, and I think it would be a Michelin-starred restaurant. Hoping to return, I thank the chef who cooked the divine dishes and his wife who served with such care and kindness. You are truly a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations!

15/05/2026: Ristorante Miky was hands down the absolute best meal and dining experience we had in Monterosso. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elevated — the service, the atmosphere, the presentation, and most importantly, the food. Every course was prepared with incredible attention to detail and tasted like true fine dining while still feeling authentic and welcoming. If you come here, do yourself a favor and order one of the chef tasting menus. Seriously — it is worth every single euro. The tasting experience allowed us to try such an incredible variety of dishes, and every course somehow managed to top the one before it. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the seafood was unbelievably fresh, and each plate felt like a work of art. You can truly tell how much passion and talent goes into every dish that leaves the kitchen. The entire experience felt special from beginning to end. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the night. Combined with the beautiful atmosphere, it turned dinner into an unforgettable experience rather than just a meal. There are many places to eat in Cinque Terre, but Ristorante Miky stands in a league of its own. This was not only the best meal we had in Monterosso, but one of the best dining experiences we’ve had anywhere. Five stars is not enough.

15/05/2026: We went as a family and the experience was incredible from beginning to end. We arrived with a fairly large stroller, and from the start they made room for us and were incredibly helpful, something we really appreciate when traveling with a small child. The food was spectacular; you can tell the care put into every dish and the level of the cooking is high. The desserts, in particular, surprised us a lot. Plus, the atmosphere feels warm and authentic, not at all pretentious. One detail we loved was that at the end, Miki, the owner, gave our daughter some toys. Those kinds of gestures make you remember more than just the food. A place where they truly make you feel welcome, both as a customer and as a family. We would definitely return.

21/05/2026: Excellent dishes featuring the freshest seafood, freshly prepared. We enjoyed a delicious pasta with octopus and the pasta of the day, with garlic, oil, chili pepper, sea bream, and fried breadcrumbs. A mixed grill was also available, and to finish, a delicious caprese salad and ricotta and almond cake. The owner was very kind and even offered us freshly baked taralli and house amaro. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back!

17/05/2026: Nice place, so-so food, honestly having spent what I spent (not a little) to eat a pasta with Ecuadorian prawns and a gnocchi with a mix of cheap minced meat that you could buy in any supermarket, a stone's throw from the sea, is disappointing, then they know how to cook it for goodness sake, but the raw material ………

11/05/2026: A mixed experience. We were a small group of friends for dinner. The restaurant had spacious seating. We had no complaints about the dishes served, well-prepared and delicious. It's a shame the service was a bit slow. When we ordered, we were advised against ordering the "Pinataccia" (a type of meatball) due to the lengthy preparation times, which also occurred with the other dishes we ordered. At the end of the meal, we wanted to order a fried dish, but they refused because, according to the person serving us, the kitchen was already closed. This seemed strange given that they had served it a minute earlier to a table near ours, and the restaurant was still mostly busy. The price was high, but I think it was appropriate for the location and the raw materials used.

09/06/2026: Yesterday we went to Il Vecchio Violino for lunch, and it was a special occasion to reconnect with an old friend, Duffy, along with his family and Giorgia. The food was simply exceptional: we started with an appetizer of bruschetta with stracciatella and cherry tomatoes, followed by exquisite peppered mussels and a fresh and crispy fried fish dish, divinely prepared with the catch of the day. Everything was accompanied by an excellent wine. To round things off, we had some truly delicious homemade desserts. An experience worth repeating, and next time we'll definitely try the pizza too!

17/05/2026: Good local restaurant with a daily menu (see the chalkboard inside). We shared the caponata and octopus antipasti along with the asparagus pasta, a pizza and steak with potatoes (all on the standard menu). Recommended!

03/05/2026: Small restaurant, not very visible even though it's on the street. A very unique interior with a series of objects that sometimes don't fit in with the place, but still make it unique. I've been there several times for both lunch and dinner, and the food has always been good. Arturo (the owner) makes you feel like family, always available to answer any questions and very funny. Despite COVID, they've managed to create a lovely outdoor space for a dinner with friends or as a couple. The first courses are very good, the pizza is excellent (the rectangular one is better), and the fritto misto is very good. The desserts (always homemade) are also good. Excellent value for money, but above all, I recommend it for the lovely atmosphere!
