07/06/2025: My wife Irene and I had dinner at Loro this evening, a welcoming place where you can breathe a family atmosphere, we were welcomed in an exquisite way by all the staff, dishes prepared in an appetizing way and very good, we ate fish-based following the suggestions of the guys and we were very satisfied, fair price considering the quality of the raw material and how it was cooked. We will return to these parts and we will certainly not fail to visit you again We recommend it wholeheartedly if you come to Caserta Thanks Guys

05/06/2025: An excellent restaurant. We had a caprese salad, a seafood platter, and a small fried fish dish. Everything was delicious. Attentive service with an aperitif upon arrival. Lovely terrace.

19/06/2025: We had the pleasure of trying “Da Lele” a few months ago (March 2025) on the advice of the hotel where we were staying. The atmosphere is modern and quiet, ideal for both a simple dinner and a special occasion. The friendly service, perhaps slightly more rigid and formal than in other restaurants in the area, but still available for every need. The small welcome aperitif with non-alcoholic or prosecco was appreciated, as well as the quality of meat and fish. The pizza was “gourmet” in style, a little small and with a light consistency and for this reason it might not meet with full approval from everyone, as in our case. All in all, the restaurant is a pleasant location with an extremely varied offer of proposals, to try at least once. DC

18/06/2025: It's not the cuisine of the past, too little raw food, too much pasta and too much cream and full of oil, too much batter for the mixed fried food, in truth we didn't eat well, halfway down the chimney I immediately felt sick, once home I vomited and it's already 5 in the morning. 1 hour of road for nothing I'm sorry

My husband has a fish allergy, and even though we are at a very popular restaurant for Seafood, they made sure he had everything he wanted. This was our first time here visiting Calabria from the USA (Chicago), and the people made us feel like family. Best experience here in Calabria!! 22/05/2025: “Welcome to the experience… welcome to Calvi” It’s not just a slogan. It’s exactly what happens when you enter their home: they open the doors to their home, welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. This is Calvi: warmth, passion, care. It’s one of those places where you don’t just go to eat well — even if, trust me, you eat like a god — but to live a moment. The place is elegant and welcoming, with large and comfortable spaces. But my favorite corner is near the pass, because from there I can see everything. The kitchen is completely open, a real theater where the show never stops. I could stay there for hours watching how they move, how they take care of every detail… and in fact, every now and then, my wife calls me to order! Chef Donato is young, but with an edge. He has a head, a heart and a lot of hunger (not just for cooking, but for growing): he studies, travels, puts himself to the test. He never stops. Angelica, on the other hand, is the sommelier you would always like to have at your table: brilliant, very friendly, knowledgeable. She reads inside you and can always recommend the right glass, even if you want to dare with a cocktail or a spirit. In the dining room there is also Domenica, sweet, smiling, who makes you feel immediately at ease. Their cuisine is lively, contemporary, but rooted in tradition. You can find meat, fish, vegetarian dishes, daily specials, new dishes every season... but always with a clear philosophy: seasonality, respect for the raw materials and zero waste. I have eaten some of the best dishes of my life at their place. And every time it is different, because the menu changes, the inspiration changes... but the quality never changes. And then there are the leavened products. Bread, focaccia, sandwiches, panettone, brioche: all made by them, with sourdough and selected flours. I often stop by just to get the freshly baked bread, because it is truly special. I close with desserts and ice creams… which are not just “good”. They are poetry. The ice creams are churned on the spot, the desserts are never banal. Calvi is not just any restaurant. It is a real experience, made of heart, technique, family and so much beauty. If you have the chance, go there. Let yourself be embraced.

Everything is wonderfully delicious and well presented, you can feel the quality of the fresh fish and the preparation that is behind each single dish. You absolutely have to try their "revisited" dishes such as plin and seafood salami. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind and you don't find them everywhere. Highly recommended.

Lampare al Fortino combines refined, creative dishes with attention to detail with a suggestive atmosphere, nestled between the historic walls and a spectacular view of the port of Trani. Impeccable service: professional, attentive but never intrusive. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a special evening. The raw seafood is an absolute must-try, as are the fish-based first courses. Prices in line with the quality and location. One of the best restaurants in the area.
