06/06/2025: The food was very good! However, in terms of quantity, you don't have to be a big eater.

06/06/2025: The grilled calamari was perfectly cooked. Tender, yet some chewiness. Seasoned just salty enough. Olive oil did not take away the freshness of the squid. My only complaint was 2 was not enough when they were this good. I also have grilled veggies that are prepared exquisitely. The veggies had a grilled aroma, and cut to similar sizes and mixed with herbs and olive oil. My wife and friend had pastas of clams sauce and Bolognese sauce. They both raved about their sauce and the al dente noodles. The wines were excellent and the bread was crusty and soft. Excellent meal! The wait staff were very attentive, yet not intrusive.

26/05/2025: An experience. Panoramic venue, state dinner location, despite some too many accessories. Having been there to celebrate an important event, not only did it live up to expectations but also managed to exceed them. A standing ovation for the Sommelier, Chef and Waiting Staff, great attention to high-level wines, food and pairings, they were able to amaze the table with even daring proposals. A venue mentioned that deserves a Star, to be tried possibly in small groups and underpriced compared to its actual value.

17/06/2025: To date, it is definitely one of the pizzerias that has impressed me the most in Florence for the quality of the ingredients, the lightness of the dough and digestibility, the desserts are also delicious, excellent service, well balanced and very friendly, I also recommend it for its more intimate and secluded location compared to the others despite being in the city centre

30/06/2025: A pleasant surprise... Many friends recommended "LA PARANZA" to me, I had never been there... last night we went for dinner and it was a pleasant surprise. Everything EXCELLENT... Exquisite appetizers, EXCELLENT first courses... Attentive and impeccable service... The back garden is beautiful, which for summer evenings is a refuge from the heat where you can relax while dining and sipping excellent wine. The owner is very nice and friendly. We will return as soon as possible to taste the renowned Paella they prepare. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...

04/06/2025: One of my favorite restaurants when I am in Italy. Both inside and outside in the garden is really pleasant to sit, also due to the countryside landscape. And the food is as usual amazing. The fish crudo is a must have, but also the grilled branzino with veggies and potatoes was very tasty! And finally kudos to the sommelier who recommended a delicious cold Pinot Nero to accompany!

01/07/2025: Traditional seafood restaurant with outdoor seating on the Sulis square facing the sea. It has interesting pre-defined menu solutions, for example at €50 for 3 courses. Fried "Alexander Massimiliano" with calamari, courgettes and aubergines good and plentiful. Excellent octopus "Nicolas Federico" as an appetizer. Recommended

01/06/2025: My partner and I celebrated his birthday here on April 8th. It was a perfect evening, the tasting menu (we had the full version but there is also a reduced version with a few less courses) is a succession of never banal flavors and unusual combinations, focused on the sea. Each dish is a contemporary work of art, also from an aesthetic point of view. In the dining room we were "pampered" by Beppe who made us feel at ease and explained all the dishes. Very well-stocked cellar. Compliments again to chef Perata, an authentic artist, who had the opportunity to briefly tell us the history of the restaurant, since we asked him, amazed, why it didn't have a Michelin star. He would fully deserve it. A spurcacciuna is a pampering that deserves it.

18/06/2025: Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

01/06/2025: In the authentic heart of Dogliani, where the hills stretch out like the pages of a novel and the air smells of history and lives lived slowly, stands Il Verso del Ghiottone, a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide, which perfectly embodies the poetry of the Piedmontese table. The cuisine is a hymn to the balance between tradition and creativity. The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. The service was impeccable: fast, courteous and never intrusive, capable of making you feel welcomed without rushing. The kindness of Luca and Vittoria, as well as the refined company of Francesco and Valentina Rulfi, made the experience even brighter. A round of applause also for the cleanliness of the premises, with particular mention for the tidy and well-kept bathroom, a detail often overlooked, but here synonymous with attention and respect. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story. An unmissable stop for those seeking the true essence of gastronomic Piedmont, between beauty, taste and authenticity.

17/06/2025: My daughter and I were in Trieste this weekend and went to lunch at this restaurant and we were THRILLED BY EVERYTHING. The place is very nice and clean. The service from Franco and his staff is impeccable. We ordered spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with lobster and fried calamari: everything was delicious but the fried calamari was 110 AND PRAISE!!! I have never eaten fried fish this good! It melts in your mouth! We ate so well that we went back the next day for dinner. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend going to eat at this restaurant in my opinion the best in Trieste!
