Andreas Restaurant In Taormina

A truly exceptional restaurant with impressively delicious food and good house wine. The only thing that took me by surprise was the bill, as I was charged for ‘Restaurazione’, which I may have mistaken for a tip. I’d appreciate some clarification!

The restaurant has been recommended by our hotel, so we decided to give a try. We had octopus, beef and tuna tataki, and I have to honestly say, that the food is amaizing out there. They claim to have Michelin 2021 recommendation, but the food is just great! All prepared with very high quality. The only minus is for interior design that is not matching the quality of the food.

Good local cuisine. It's difficult to find a restaurant in Taormina that isn't touristy.

Magnificent experience. Wonderful food, attentive service in a setting away from the tourist crowd.

A must visit in my opinion. A sense of the confidence in every dish with perfect preparation, seasoning, plating, and nothing either missing or too much on the plate. Lovely service and a solid wine list complete the package. A great restaurant where it all is coming together so well.

Andreas Restaurant was one of the highlights of our time in Taormina. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional professional, attentive, and perfectly paced without ever feeling intrusive. Combined with the beautiful setting, it made for a memorable evening. We started with the tuna carpaccio with melon, which was wonderfully fresh and beautifully balanced, followed by the octopus on pea purée, cooked perfectly with excellent flavor and texture. For our pasta course, we shared the carbonara with fresh white truffle, and it was outstanding. Rich, silky, and elevated by the aroma of the truffle without overpowering the dish. Our mains were equally impressive. The filet was cooked exactly as requested, tender and full of flavor, while the tuna was beautifully seared and showcased the quality of the ingredients. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Outstanding food, impeccable service, and a beautiful atmosphere make Andreas Restaurant a place I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Taormina. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food was prepared with great care, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was exceptionally attentive. We were particularly impressed by the tuna dishes (smoked tuna) – superbly prepared and absolutely delicious. The Sachertorte was also a real highlight. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
