25/09/2025: What an incredible place! The views were beautiful, and the service was excellent and attentive. Let's talk about the food... I think I've tried some of the best pasta dishes of my life: the ravioli with shrimp, cheese, etc. was CRAZY! We also tried the fettuccine with octopus and ricotta, which was also very good. 10/10 experience, and 11/10 food!

30/10/2025: I was able to use the catering service at La Lanterna restaurant, all managed by Mrs. Regina, who had proposed herself as a highly prestigious wedding planner. The couple had their rehearsal dinner, which went very well, everything had been decided, or at least we thought so. We arrive at the location where the event was supposed to take place, and find the aperitif in full sun, bowls with melted ice, a few appetizers and a few non-alcoholic appetizers, appetizers served on small plates standing up, some a lot, some nothing, we enter the room, where I must say it was incredibly hot, 33 degrees, we sit at the table, we are served water with an eyedropper by rude and listless waiters, I must say that there was no maître d' to manage everything, it is time for the first courses, very good, but one guest does not like it and asks a waiter for a plate of pasta with oil, he is rudely refused, alleging that the chef refuses to serve this dish at the table, we get to the fish that was supposed to be a sea bream, we were presented with a strange fish, after much insistence, we received the answer it was turbot, all this without informing anyone, I would like to point out that Sea bream and turbot are two different types of fish, so if someone was allergic, it could have been a serious problem. There was a staff member who had to entertain children and adults, and their food was very limited and very late. After lunch, a corner was set up for the liqueurs I had purchased, high-quality liqueurs, placed in the sun, therefore very hot. After insisting, they brought ice, but the chocolate brought for tasting was all melted. When it was time for dessert, the dessert buffet was brought out, also in the sun, and they all melted. Luckily, the cake went well, even though it wasn't given to the staff. Furthermore, coffee and sparkling wine weren't served, clarifying that this hadn't been agreed upon with the bride and groom. Do you think this is possible? Even if it wasn't agreed upon, it's obvious! So my advice: don't hire catering, venues, and other nonsense; for a certain amount of money, hire a nice, classy restaurant and you'll certainly enjoy yourself more.

02/12/2025: Even the bread tasted stale; we sent it back and received a new one that was somewhat better, but still not fresh. The food was unfortunately very bad – the prawns were inedible and very old, the tuna dry and undercooked. For the first time in Venice, we felt ripped off. The service was friendly, but that seems to be part of their strategy; the large restaurant was only occupied by two tables all evening. We understood why and would definitely not recommend it.

17/12/2025: Fantastic! We just arrived in Rome and found this restaurant that looked lovely from the outside. Inside, we found fantastic food, thanks to the recommendations of Miguele, a true professional. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was peaceful. We'll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: ...it's more than a hotel, it's also a museum where a computer scientist finds himself in his own world. I regret the lack of beach bungalows, which adds to the unique experience. The food is also excellent; I suggest improving the breakfast selection, even though it's still plentiful. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

19/10/2025: Lunch. Good quality food and fresh fish. The swordfish was excellent; my favorite dish. The table service was good, but there's always room for improvement. The location was lovely, but what made everything even more enjoyable was the pianist's entertainment. Mr. Pupa Gabriele, the pianist, created a welcoming, pleasantly convivial, and elegant atmosphere.

30/10/2025: We ate here on October 21,2025 and after 2 weeks in La Spezia and several days in Florence this was our most memorable meal! The wonderful nuances of the flavors were a treat to the palette. We had the most flavorful beef carpaccio we have ever had as a first course. Our pasta dishes were amazing like the spaghetti with garlic oil , chilli pepper, shrimp and barrata. The stuffed parpadelle was amazing in taste and preparation! The beef fillet with that divine sauce was so tasty! I am dreaming of the Pistachio semifreddo dessert with lavender sauce which was, not only delicious but presented on the most beautiful platter! If in the area I would not miss this experience!

21/10/2025: Relaxing and intimate atmosphere. Attentive but unobtrusive service. Dishes inspired by the chef's imagination, skillfully utilizing local ingredients, especially fish.

19/09/2025: We chose San Domenico for our last evening here and it could not have been a better choice. We had the vegetarian degustation menu and even as someone who usually eats meat, it was amazing through and through. Each course was crafted with immense love and detail which was noticable with eye and tongue. Service was perfect, food was perfect - I'm still amazed a day later! What I liked especially was the indirect lighting on the outdoor terrace. It was a beautiful setting for an evening filled with good food and wine. We will absolutely come back!

05/10/2025: The view from the hotel restaurant is magnificent, but I wasn't entirely convinced by the quality. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly. While the men serving at the Michelin-starred restaurant were impressive, the ladies still had a lot of room for improvement. The quality of the food was, of course, absolutely top-notch. Personally, I'm less impressed by the unusual nature of haute cuisine; I always prefer traditional dishes of the highest quality. The restaurant wasn't my cup of tea (very personal), but I would definitely visit the hotel again.

13/11/2025: Here you're not going to the usual restaurant to take photos or post on Instagram. Here you're going to Alfonso's home, where he will welcome and pamper you the entire time. You'll find traditional, humble but delicious dishes and excellent wine. The service is excellent. Excellent value for money.

10/11/2025: I couldn't have asked for anything better: an excellent traditional lunch, excellent value for money, and attentive and warm staff. I'd say having lunch there is almost a must if you're in Benevento. Highly recommended.
