18/04/2026: The lady who served us was very kind and helpful, the food was really good, the olive oil and cured meats exceptional. We had the pici with wild boar ragù for our first course, which was delicious, and the pici with bacon were delicious!! Highly recommended. The only thing to do is book, especially in the evenings and on weekends.

04/04/2026: I went there tonight with my boyfriend. We stumbled upon it by chance, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience. The lady was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was intimate and charming. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

08/04/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been frequenting this restaurant in Livorno for a while, and it's become a go-to place for seafood. The quality is truly excellent, and considering the prices, I think it's unbeatable value. The menu offers a huge variety of both first and second courses, all carefully crafted and always fresh. Don't miss the appetizer: six courses, which vary based on the day's availability, always a pleasant surprise. An added bonus is Davide, the owner: kind, eccentric, a true Livorno native, always with a smile and a quick wit, capable of making you feel at home. My family and I can't live without it anymore, and we return at least once a month. I highly recommend booking well in advance, especially on weekends.

25/02/2026: Nice, intimate place, friendly staff, and good food. But the prices are high and not at all clear. We came for dinner, specifying that only one person would have fish, while the other would have a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables (as a vegetarian). Total: €100!! We weren't informed that it was a set menu, nor were we even given the price. Apparently, prices are set on the spot, but I don't know what the reason is. We also asked for two glasses of wine, but they brought us a whole bottle, making us believe we'd only pay for the glasses... but no! And this has happened a few other times at lunch... the prices listed on the blackboard are different from what you pay, especially if you pay by card, and they keep making you believe they're giving you free water. I'm sorry, but even though we ate wonderfully, we won't be back.

09/04/2026: The service is absolutely fantastic and so friendly. We ordered the bruschetta, lasagna and spaghetti and all three were extremely delicious!! We ended up coming here twice it was so good. Perfect location, right by the canal and quiet. Would 100% recommend and would definitely return. Also the spritz were perfect!

19/04/2026: Wow - What an incredible restaurant. You can understand why they have held a Michelin Star for 15+ years! The staff knew it was our Honeymoon and the service was impeccable! But the real star here is for the food - The flavours, presentation and quality were amazing and paired so well together. Highly recommend for a quality high-end restaurant experience!

02/04/2026: We had such a beautiful lunchtime experience at Ristorante Badia. The restaurant itself is incredibly aesthetically pleasing, colourful, vibrant, and full of authentic Sicilian charm. We ordered the Risotto alla Marinara and every bite was absolutely delicious. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce on the risotto was good. We also tried the Tagliatelle rosso di Mazara e tartufo. Although it had to be substituted with local smaller prawns instead of the red shrimp, the price was adjusted accordingly, which we really appreciated. The dish was still delicious, full of flavour, with fresh, fragrant truffle that elevated it beautifully. After our meal, we were offered a delicious almond aperitif, which was the perfect touch to end a lovely lunch. The servers were warm, welcoming, and made us feel so at ease throughout. We would certainly recommend visiting!

06/04/2026: "Discovered" thanks to my partner, I was pleasantly satisfied, pet friendly place for 2 small dogs, top fried anchovies and if the fish is not good you can taste the octopus too, excellent stockfish accommodated not to mention Edo's ice cream which incites crime :), perfect service.

06/04/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We were greeted very warmly by the owner, who seated us even though we hadn't booked. We opted for fish, which was very fresh and excellent. Great location, fresh food, and friendly service.

04/04/2026: Delicious seafood pasta and calzones complemented by a nice atmosphere. Needed a quick lunch just before catching an afternoon train, and this was an amazing find near the train station. Arrived at 2:20pm needing a table for 5, and they were happy to seat us despite closing at 3. Highly recommend!

The ambience, cuisine, friendliness, and quality make this restaurant a true gem, especially since it's located in a quaint hamlet, expertly enhanced by the owner. In short...a guarantee! Prices are, of course, fair, just like everything else.

28/09/2025: That was nothing! Since there are unfortunately mostly beach bars and almost no restaurants in Marinella, we chose this restaurant, partly because of its 4.6 rating. However, we can't understand the rating! The ambiance seemed cold, there was a strange vibe, and the service was very odd. When we got our pasta, we were initially disappointed by the small quantities. 5 ravioli for €15? That was a joke 😂 The "pasta alla norma" wasn't the original, but just pasta with eggplant (+ potatoes??). The original cheese was missing. Unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with the taste. Therefore, we don't recommend it...
