Finally, a place where I could feel comfortable and at home. I closed my eyes and felt like I was back at my grandmother's house. Authentic, honest dishes, no frills or futuristic plating. The lady who served us was super nice and professional, and the chef's greeting from the kitchen warmed my heart. Definitely come, a true Tuscan foodie tells you so.

We had two wonderful evenings in a very relaxed atmosphere. Our hosts, Agnese and Roberto, treated us to two evenings of typical Umbrian cuisine and excellent wines. Their warm hospitality will ensure we remember our time in Umbria fondly for a long time to come. Thank you for everything. See you next time, Ulli and Peter

A couple's trip to Castiglione del Lago. We decided to eat at a typical local osteria, and Le Scalette was perfect for us. A little out of the way, but with a beautiful view of the lake.
We ordered game starters and main courses (wild boar, venison, and roe deer).
Abundant dishes, exceptional flavor, and a very kind owner.
All served with a fresh, delicate rosé.
We'll be back.

A nice, compact little restaurant with a lovely outdoor terrace, serving local homemade dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the mixed Cinta Senese (local pig breed) and the lasagna. That, combined with the friendly service from the owner, is certainly a reason to return more often.

Everything was delicious! A small, quaint restaurant serving local cuisine. The pici with lake sauce were delicious, and the carp in porchetta was a must-try! I'm giving it 5 stars, but it deserves 10.

We come here every year on holiday, and having lunch at Scalette has become a firm tradition. The food is excellent and truly exceptional. The owners are absolutely lovely people, and we and our children are already looking forward to seeing them again soon at their restaurant!

The hostess, Agnese, is very helpful and friendly. The traditional dishes are delicious and well-crafted, with perfect flavor combinations. Excellent and fast service! Recommended.
