We had dinner here recently and really liked the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, the interior is stylish, and even the restrooms are clean and well-designed. The service was friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. We ordered the risotto and the zucchini flower appetizer, but neither dish stood out. It's possible we simply chose the wrong dishes, but we expected more in terms of flavor and overall quality.
We paid around €100 for two people, and with the 12% service charge added to the bill, we felt the overall price was quite high for the experience we had.
It's a lovely place with a great ambiance, but we expected the food to better match the quality of the setting and the price

I feel I have to counter the review of Elena B below. Casa Cappellari is one of our favorite restaurants in Venice. We eat there every time we come to Venice, which is 1-2x a year. Sometimes we eat there twice during our stay. I bring friends there and recommend it to friends. Upon entering you are transported to a calm tranquil space far away from the mass tourism of Venice. Dishes are consistently delicious. The seafood is so fresh! You are among guests who don’t need flash to understand what is good food, prepared and served without any pretension but a quiet pride.
