19/08/2026: Since it is the summer vacation season, many places were closed, so I stumbled upon this place by chance, but it was truly wonderful! The restaurant was very clean, and the owners were incredibly kind. The pasta was delicious, and they even provided an aperitif and Limoncello after the meal. Every aspect of the service was attentive and impeccable, making for a truly pleasant dining experience. I was traveling alone, and thanks to you, I had a wonderful evening. Thank you! If I come to Milan again, I definitely want to visit again.💗

The sunset view from San Domenico is simply breathtaking—one of those views that makes you pause for a moment before ordering, because you realize you're looking at something rare. That alone would be worth the visit. But the cuisine is no exception: the gnocchi with gurnard, snapper, strawberries, and chili pepper are an extraordinary dish—creativity, technique, and Calabrian terroir blend impeccably. Sweet, seafood, spicy. A balance few manage to achieve. The service is top-notch, attentive, and never intrusive. Special mention to Maria Concetta, whose professionalism and warmth made the evening even more enjoyable—the kind of welcome that makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. San Domenico plays in Serie A. One of the best restaurants on the Calabrian coast, without a doubt.

08/08/2026: If you're looking for a superb pizza, Pizzeria Al Confine is a must-visit. The pizza is exquisite! You can immediately tell the high quality of the ingredients, all fresh and carefully selected. Compliments to the entire staff.

02/08/2026: We went to Al Confine in Trofarello and were truly satisfied. I chose the Aforisma pizza and can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever eaten. The San Marzano DOP tomatoes were flavorful and top-quality, the La Sorrentina fior di latte was perfectly stringy, the Battipaglia burrata was creamy and delicious, while the San Daniele prosciutto drizzled with a balanced and refined flavor. The dough was light, fragrant, and very digestible, a sign of excellent craftsmanship and top-quality ingredients. The service was also impeccable: the staff were friendly, professional, and always attentive to the customer. Congratulations to the entire staff for the passion and quality you put into every pizza. We'll definitely be back. A well-deserved five stars!

The cuisine was exceptional: top-quality food, delicious and beautifully presented, which delighted all our guests. 20/08/2026: Our experience from start to finish was absolutely incredible! We were picked up by a free shuttle and then invited to the balcony area for drinks. The dinner was delicious and the service was second to none. You can tell Antonio and the team are really passionate about the history of this place and we were so lucky to spend a beautiful evening together. Thanks so much!

24/08/2026: We went to this restaurant with the family. It was evening, but the view is definitely breathtaking. It has a beautiful terrace overlooking the gulf. The staff was very friendly. We had a mussel and clam soup for an appetizer. To say it was exceptional is an understatement; the tomato sauce was worth drinking 😅, truly excellent. Then we had a seafood scialatiello and gnocchi with mussels, pecorino cheese, and zucchini. Both were excellent; the gnocchi had strong, bold flavors, and the scialatiello was the best I've had in years. For the main course, a mixed grill; given the extremely high standards of the first courses, I was a bit disappointed, I must say. The homemade lemon semifreddo dessert was excellent, but the panna cotta, on the other hand, was a bit bland. The house wine was okay. The quality/price ratio was also fair. I'll definitely be back for the appetizer and first course! Recommended!

15/08/2026: My review is a bittersweet mix. We came to try this osteria, which is practically in the center of San Giovanni; you can sit outside or inside, with a small room upstairs and a larger one downstairs. The place presents itself as a classic osteria, without too many frills, but with comfortable seating between tables. Our lunch was characterized by two distinct moments: the first part, where we had two mixed seafood appetizers, two paccheri allo scoglio and a tagliatelle with Chianina ragù, which were delicious. Then came the main course, which we must admit was a bit disappointing. The grilled meat was a bit overcooked and dry, and a bit expensive for the size of the dish. Then we had fried fish, which was overcooked and the fish was tough... For a side, we had fries, and to finish, a strawberry cake and a tiramisu, both very good. We would have eaten well if it weren't for those two dishes described. P.S. The fish was obviously fresh, and the staff was very friendly and professional. As for the price, it was a bit steep for the size of the dishes. But still, we'll definitely be back.

The dishes (seafood tagliatelle was excellent and spaghetti carbonara was very good – not the best, but very good) were generous and tasty. The service was impeccable. There were a few too many mosquitoes outside, which made us leave earlier than planned, but they couldn't do anything about it.
