24/07/2024: Needless to say, everything was truly delicious and the portions are very generous. The environment is really beautiful, in particular my boyfriend and I had dinner outside, and therefore in a very nice and well-kept garden. The staff are really smart, they are super professional but at the same time they make you feel at ease by laughing and joking in the right way with customers. The bill was €60 per person and we both got a bottle of wine and a bottle of water; appetizer tasting which consists of 5 or 6 courses (I don't remember for sure); tuna tartare; sea ​​urchin linguine; spaghetti with black garlic from Voghera, clams and shredded provola cheese. It was all really delicious and reluctantly we couldn't get dessert because we were full. I offer my most sincere compliments to this place because it really deserves a lot, both for the food and for the people. Come and eat at this restaurant because it's worth it, it's high standard!

26/08/2024: I'm sorry for the delay on this review but this review deserves my full sit-down attention I celebrated a very special birthday here just over a week ago and for someone who has been in the hospitality life for a very long time I can truly say with confidence this is the most wonderful and charming night I have ever had at a restaurant. A family run restaurant which has been in operation for over 100 years is now in the wonderful hands of the 4 charming brothers of the family. Each one of them came over to introduce themselves at different points throughout the night and when encouraged by us they proudly walked us through their family history and how they all became who they are today, everyone have their own special skills within the business, wine connoisseur, head chef, guest relations, business man, the godfther of the farm and so on Fresh ingredients from their family farm/gardens and their local fishing boats delivered straight to your plate there is no better way to enjoy great food. We opted for the full experience so we went for the tasting menu which did not disappoint!! Each dish being walked through and explained with such passion and pride it honestly just brought pure joy to my heart and clearly the experience I had been urning my whole life, every attention to our table was delivered with a genuine smile and such care, everyone who works here are clearly very proud of who/where they work. ( Big shout out to the Nieces ❤️) Good luck with Uni 🤞 Each dish beautifully presented and busting with flavour, just so much love went into every dish I do honestly wish we took more photos but we were so happily wrapped up in the experience and the family vibes we barely looked at our phones or thought to take pictures. ( This is what you call a perfect night and how a dining experience should be ) Pre drinks on the terrace was idealic and the view over the Amalfi coast is definitely my favorite romantic way to start of any night. We ended up staying 3 hours past closing and cancelled our other reservation somewhere else for late drinks, once you found what felt like home why go anywhere else. They even gave us a lift back into town once they closed down, if I didn't have a ferry first thing in the morning I would have gone out with the rest of the team ( you are all such wonderful humans 💜) The full experience of the family mixed with the service was truly spectacular and I really wish I was apart of this family ❣️ Especially after hearing how they celebrate their Christmas! I wish nothing but truly great things for the entire family and I'll definitely be booking another Amalfi trip soon just so I can hangout with the family again. 18/08/2024: Location: nel centro di Gargnano è possibile stare nel grazioso e tranquillo vicolo in pietra al coperto, con squarcio di vista sul lago, o nello spazioso e carino spazio interno climatizzato con finestre sul lago. Ambienti puliti e curati. Mise en place minimale. Menu: ottimi piatti di qualità e gusto. Il pesce di lago la fa da padrona x gusto e creatività. Menù con una buona scelta che garantisce la freschezza delle portate. Servizio: cordiale, disponibile ed attento. da parte di tutto lo staff. Prezzo: leggermente superiore alla media, ma consono alla qualità di quanto offerto. Soddisfatti da tornare.

08/08/2024: When in Naples, make sure one of your meals is at Mame Ostrichina. Came here with family, we tried the Spicy Tuna Roll, the Spicy Mango Roll and the Uramaki Vegetarian Hot Rolls. Every one of these was superb. Kudos to the owner for boldly experimenting and fusing together Japanese and local food.

03/08/2024: Refined and very well served cuisine; a very pleasant and friendly waiter who speaks French and English! He really explains all the dishes to us and answers all our questions. The prices are very affordable and we enjoy it. The anchovy pesto gorgonzola bruschetta is to die for, as is the bacala cream. We continued with the ricotta spinach ravioli and black rice. Everything was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

29/07/2024: Went to this fishmonger one Monday evening. Cristian, very kind, found us a table even though the place was full. Family-run business (parents and two children), excellently organized and with defined roles, guaranteeing speed and efficiency in the service. The fish is very fresh, cooked masterfully by the father, who does not skimp on the condiments and portions, which are abundant and tasty. We ate mussels peppered, spaghetti with seafood (cyclopean portion), octopus in a piñata and seafood salad, all accompanied by a glass of white Malvasia, a beer and a bottle of water. Price 70 euros for two... more than honest. It's a shame that I only discovered it on the last day of the holiday. Well done! Keep it up. Putting quality first always pays off.

28/08/2024: Absolute amazing! We stumbled across this place looking for a lovely dinner spot that wasn’t too touristy but had that Roma ambiance. This place was wonderful and the food was perfecto! More than that the service of the staff was brilliant, helping us dusty travellers pick the best dishes for a dinner we wouldn’t soon forget. We could not recommend this place more. A must have is the squid ink pasta but you couldn’t go wrong picking anything on the menu! Thank you to the staff and Emon for beautiful service 👏 Edit: we returned for a second visit in 2024 and have been blown away once again by the food and the fantastic service! Having come in 2023 during our honeymoon and now again for our anniversary, both times we had Emon as our server whose recommendations of wine and food made the evening perfect! Thank you once again to the Piro team for a delicious meal and special thanks to Emon!!

Wide choice of delicacies on the menu proposed by the chef, from tasty oysters to sublime baked fish, all accompanied by excellent wines! Price commensurate with the high quality of the food, highly recommended!

22/08/2024: Last night, I had an aperitif with my family on the terrace. Just being on that terrace feels like being in Paradise, if you are there with loved ones and they serve you some fantastic appetizers sprinkled with high quality wines (I have the duty to thank Giacomo), who well recommended two excellent wines to us. The terrace of this Hotel/Restaurant is a must see, an unforgettable place.
