18/10/2025: La Gràmola translated as OASIS OF PEACE 🩵 We'd always heard about this wonderful place until one summer day we went to try it, partly because I was looking for a place for my son's special day. And YES, as soon as I walked in, I fell in love! I went for dinner and the atmosphere was so warm and peaceful. Even though the place was full, as soon as the food arrived, I felt at home... and without thinking twice, I decided to reserve it for that day. Of course, returning during the day changes the atmosphere and it's even more beautiful because this wonderful place is surrounded by greenery, and here I fell in love for the second time. For my son's baptism, everything went great, EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. The excellent traditional dishes, fresh products, and above all the homely atmosphere offered by the owner DONATO, FABIOLA, and her waiters FABIO and LAURA. My guests were delighted with what they ate, the place, and everyone's professionalism, and I... 19/08/2026: We stayed three nights in the hotel next door and were recommended to have dinner at this restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, the welcome, the decor, the waiter and waitress, the owner, and of course the food so much that we ate there all three nights. I recommend everyone stop by; the local cuisine is a real treat for the taste buds.

09/08/2026: The antipasti were very good, as were the daily special and carbonara. The terrace overlooks a road, which can be a bit annoying after a while. During the lunch rush, the waiters forgot about us and didn't offer us dessert 😓.

04/08/2026: The food was good, but it's not suitable if you're going with children, the prices are too high, and a wine costing almost 25 euros cannot be served at room temperature, especially in summer when it's 32 degrees.

25/08/2026: Beautiful place! Sunbeds too close together... Rude and disorganized bar staff to serve 3 people (all take-away drinks and ice cream) so nothing prepared at the counter took a good 10 minutes... In my turn I take 3 waters and a coke the waters almost hot slightly cool (ok given the influx of people at the moment) in 2 other fridges next to the counter I see the same waters I ask if I can have the water from that fridge since one was really hot he gave it to me from there after I asked for it to be cooler, the bartender replies "yes now I'll give it all fresh to you and then I'll serve..." justifying that he needed it for the evening service.... I should point out that it was 4:30 pm so 2 could have easily swapped.... Moral of the story I left with the hot waters telling him that the next day I would have liked to have lunch there but given the manners I wouldn't have gone I was simply told if you don't come someone else will, excellent philosophy of life congratulations and good work!!

25/08/2026: I've visited Bagno Marino Archi several times with my family. It's a well-equipped beach resort located on the Santa Cesarea cliffs. The resort also includes an excellent restaurant and pizzeria, open for lunch, as well as a bar serving soft drinks and cocktails. You can reserve a beach umbrella and spend the day in this marina's beautiful waters. Access to the resort is via a convenient staircase, but I haven't noticed any accessible facilities for disabled guests. Access to the water, however, is via comfortable steps or inclined platforms. The resort obviously has lifeguards. There are various water attractions, such as inflatables and free trampolines. Going down the stairs to reach the pizzeria, on the right is a free children's play area with a small soccer field. The restaurant is spacious and well-ventilated, offering a fantastic sea view. We ate some delicious, very large pizzas, served on steel plates to keep them warm. Pizza style: Roman-style, thin and crispy, dry and not soaked in oil. There's a wide variety of pizzas, both white and red, with the option to vary the ingredients. Among the best are the fish-based ones. The staff is very courteous and accommodating, and the experience and professionalism of the waiters are commendable. A very positive experience that I've repeated and will repeat in the future. Recommended!

13/08/2026: Strange rules and average food The food here was quite average — nothing particularly memorable or worth coming back for. But what surprised me most wasn’t even the food, it was the restaurant’s strange rules. When I ordered my food, I was additionally charged for a table setting, which included a fork, a knife, and a napkin. So apparently, I can order food, but if I want to actually eat it properly, I have to pay extra for cutlery. This seems especially absurd because in any normal restaurant, a fork, knife, and napkin are part of basic table service and are provided free of charge. Here, however, they’ve somehow turned the most basic necessities into a separate paid service. So, in the end: average food + strange rules + an extra charge for something you simply need in order to eat the food you ordered. A very questionable approach to customers. The feeling that the restaurant is trying to make money from every little thing leaves a worse impression than the food itself.

28/05/2026: A beautiful little place surrounded by nature, a simple rural structure but meticulously cared for in every detail. The poultry and the friendly, sweet donkeys enrich the atmosphere of times gone by. We kneaded bread and baked it in the wood-fired oven, a wonderful experience of returning to authentic life. Congratulations to Mrs. Irene.

09/08/2026: A very spacious restaurant on the Santa Maria al Bagno seafront. The service is very good; the waiters are attentive and know what they're doing. We had a platter of very good raw fish and two first courses: a pacchero with tuna, which was quite good; and a seafood risotto, which wasn't particularly good, as we were expecting a little more. All in all, it was a good experience.

09/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant in Santa Maria al Bagno. The staff are incredibly friendly and offer excellent advice on food and wine. You can dine on the terrace in front of the restaurant to admire the sunset, or inside with great air conditioning, or on the vine-covered terrace at the back. The starter, main course, and dessert were all excellent.

03/06/2026: Exceptional place! The owner is a very kind person who explained to us the importance of having a zero-mile organic farm and his philosophy on farm management. Admirable! The location has a beautiful garden, meticulously cared for down to the last detail. Recommended restaurant for the quality and attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes! Highly recommended if you're staying in Gallipoli.

18/05/2026: Wonderful location, immersed in silence and greenery, well-kept and welcoming. I had lunch with my husband and I must say that everything was top-quality and fresh. I ordered the fried calamari and the land and sea appetizer because both capture the freshness of the sea and the aroma of Salento. The service was very fast and attentive. The prices were fair. Highly recommended!!

09/08/2026: We dined at this restaurant with friends who have been frequenting Salento for many years and were already familiar with the place, where they usually returned at least once during their holidays, especially for seafood. The quality of the food was very good, and the service was truly excellent: the staff was attentive, helpful, and professional, despite the restaurant being very crowded. However, the atmosphere was quite noisy due to the large number of people and the tables being quite close together. The real downside was the prices, which were significantly higher than our friends remembered and, in our opinion, not commensurate with the overall experience. Many seafood appetizers and first courses cost over €20, while several more elaborate pizzas easily reached €15-20 or more. I personally wanted seafood, but given the prices, I opted for a pizza, as did another diner. The others limited themselves to an appetizer or a single main course. With water and a few medium beers, the bill still came to around €35 ​​per person. The food was good and the service certainly deserves a very positive rating, but the value for money left us rather disappointed, and we're unlikely to return.
