Exceptional place! The owner is a very kind person who explained to us the importance of having a zero-mile organic farm and his philosophy on farm management. Admirable! The location has a beautiful garden, meticulously cared for down to the last detail. Recommended restaurant for the quality and attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes! Highly recommended if you're staying in Gallipoli.

Wonderful location, immersed in silence and greenery, well-kept and welcoming. I had lunch with my husband and I must say that everything was top-quality and fresh. I ordered the fried calamari and the land and sea appetizer because both capture the freshness of the sea and the aroma of Salento. The service was very fast and attentive. The prices were fair. Highly recommended!!

Lovely stay in a quiet area. Very child-friendly too. The owners are super friendly. In the end, we couldn't eat there because the restaurant was booked for a party, but we suspect the food is just as tasty and well-prepared as the breakfast. Calamate is highly recommended!

21/07/2026: We ordered two fish dishes, and they came in sandwiches (it wasn't specified). The draft lager is very light.
12/07/2026: The menu is practically endless, offering just about everything, plus the level of customization on the sandwiches is incredible, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The draft beers are exceptional, and the selection of craft bottled beers is quite varied, including some unique brands. Manuel welcomes you like family—a truly spectacular person, just like everything else Qualo has to offer!

Le Casine sull'Asso Trattoria

11/07/2026: A lovely place surrounded by greenery, with homemade, authentic dishes! The waiter (Alberto, I think) is a delightful person, capable of giving excellent advice and managing the entire restaurant! Highly recommended.
03/07/2026: A quiet evening, even with the kids, spent in good company enjoying the local cuisine. The house antipasto was excellent and very generous, with many delicacies, mostly vegetable-based, and the homemade and tasty first courses. The meatballs in tomato sauce are just like grandma's, and the horse meat was also delicious. Well done to the manager!
