29/04/2026: A lovely restaurant in the historic centre of Galatina, right behind the Basilica of Santa Caterina, a tourist destination of considerable importance for its frescoes known as the Salento Assistance. Having said that, I went there for dinner last week. The food was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. The room where we dined was located below the first floor entrance, a very characteristic feature with a barrel vault in tuff typical of Salento. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

16/07/2026: Enjoyed delicious food on the rooftops of Galatina, in the heart of the city center. The tender and succulent horse fillet was noteworthy. The service was prompt and the waiters very professional. The price was commensurate with the quality of the food.

04/07/2026: June 28, 2026; well, it's not what it used to be. The antipasti misti were okay, but the meat, a costata (in the EU, that's a ribeye), ordered medium-rare, wasn't quite right and was really tough, as if the meat hadn't rested long enough. The potatoes were oversalted. I pointed this out when paying, and the owner simply said: "They're salty, so drink more water." The pork tenderloin was dry, so it had been in the oven too long, even though it was wrapped in bacon. A shame, especially in such a well-located place. Kind regards from two former chefs, not from Italy, of course, but with very good knowledge of ingredients, materials, and cooking methods. Mihlen, that was then.

12/07/2026: The restaurant immediately strikes you with its splendid contrast: a modern, industrial-style interior and a vast outdoor garden filled with fragrant lemon trees. The atmosphere is magical and relaxing. The dinner was delicious. The fried foods were crispy, dry, and flavorful. The pizza was light, easy to digest, and made with excellent ingredients. An excellent selection of craft beers pairs perfectly with the pizzas. Reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff.

11/07/2026: A lovely place surrounded by greenery, with homemade, authentic dishes! The waiter (Alberto, I think) is a delightful person, capable of giving excellent advice and managing the entire restaurant! Highly recommended.

03/07/2026: A quiet evening, even with the kids, spent in good company enjoying the local cuisine. The house antipasto was excellent and very generous, with many delicacies, mostly vegetable-based, and the homemade and tasty first courses. The meatballs in tomato sauce are just like grandma's, and the horse meat was also delicious. Well done to the manager!

18/07/2026: Typical Caggiano products, starting with the Caggianese pasticcio. We ordered an appetizer, a slice of sliced ​​meat, and then the pizza with Nutella. We'll be back. I highly recommend it; it's excellent value for money.
