We only had appetizers and fried food, all tasty, fresh and of excellent quality. At the end of the meal, we had a highly recommended homemade lemon granita BUO-NIS-SI-MAAAA and the final dessert, do we want to talk about it? Well find out for yourself!

End of year dinner. What can I say, everything is excellent from the starters, the caponata is a delicacy, to the risotto with prawns, sublime... not to mention the roasted bonito, succulent, and the frying? Crisp!!! Everything very fresh and excellent!!! The first dinner where I ate with gusto, nothing was reheated but freshly cooked. Friendly staff and owners always present ready to satisfy any request. Suggestive location on the walls of the old city with its star vaults, in summer also a beautiful view of the sea. If you are in Gallipoli, in addition to enjoying the wonderful sea and the ancient history of the city, from the "Portolano" you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes. Highly recommended!!!

After visiting Gallipoli we were feeling quite hungry😂😂and looking among the many restaurants we found.... PORTOLANO a wonderful Trattoria... In everything. From the excellent food and the freshest fish cooked to the TOP by Mrs Lucia... Who in addition to being wonderful in the kitchen is truly a marvel... Sweet and kind... She moved me. Then logically the owner SUPER... helpful and friendly.... The top staff.... In short, if you come to GALLIPOLI... you can't not eat here.... YOU EAT LOVELY AT MODERN PRICES... Una giornata con amici trascorsa in una location che fa apprezzare tutte quelle che sono le tradizioni della cucina salentina e del calore di una famiglia, il Signor Franco e Signora che coccolano i commensali sino a farli sentire a casa. Pietanze gustose e abbondanti, ingredienti da cui si capisce subito la selezione e la freschezza della materia prima. Il Signor Franco, una persona squisita che ti sa consigliare su ciò che è la specialità del giorno, condizionata dal pescato di paranza. Ogni tanto viene la "cuoca" la Signora cuoca viene a "controllare"se le sue pietanze sono di gradimento dei suoi ospiti, e cosa dirle se non ricoprirla di complimenti. Una cucina genuina e semplice proprio come quella di casa propria.... Il prezzo ci sta tutto ed è alla portata di tutti.
