A very nice restaurant with very, very friendly hosts! The food was excellent!

I tried their tasting menu, and every dish was an explosion of flavors and colors. The presentation is impeccable, and the service is friendly and professional. The place is steeped in history, as it's one of the oldest structures in Galatone's historic center, dating back to the 1500s, with frescoes inside the courtyard. The ancient, rustic atmosphere of Lecce stone and carparo stone makes you feel at home. The price is more than reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to try Sascianne. It's an experience that will stay in your heart (and on your palate)!" 😋 I should point out that the negative reviews I've read are due to the old management; the restaurant is now under new management, and the staff is absolutely up to par: friendly, kind, and they make you feel right at home, in addition to the excellent quality of the food and pizzas.
