03/08/2026: Fantastic place when you come by car! An oasis!! The service is impeccable, they do everything to make you feel good, they mostly only speak Italian, but with goodwill and Google Translate you can do most things! The pool is incredibly comfortable, a real gem! Lovely breakfast, where they arrange most of the guests' wants. Highly recommend as a base for visiting other wonderful places in the area!

14/08/2026: Nothing to say about the food, even though we didn't try much given the extensive menu. The thing that really left me perplexed was something else. They sat us at the reserved table, I sat down, and the chair literally broke underneath me. Luckily, I managed to hold on and not fall. It can happen, even if it shouldn't. What I didn't like at all was that no one apologized. In fact, a member of staff came over and said, "It's normal in the heat." Normal? If chairs break in the heat, then maybe it's time to replace them, not just say it's normal. By the way, other chairs were also in pretty bad condition. If I were them, I'd check them out, because I was fine, but it could have happened to an elderly person or simply someone who couldn't stand up in time. In the end, what bothered me most wasn't even the accident itself, but the way it was handled. A simple apology would have been enough instead of trying to justify something like this.

06/04/2026: I went there because it was recommended by relatives in the area. It's an excellent seafood restaurant on the main street of Santa Maria al Bagno. I found the fish to be very fresh and well-prepared. The service was very attentive. You can eat à la carte or choose from the tasting menus. Recommended for seafood lovers. Prices are reasonable.

04/04/2026: A sophisticated restaurant located in an elegant historic residence overlooking the sea. The decor and service are meticulously crafted. Excellent food quality and exquisite presentation. This isn't our first time here, and each time is a pleasant experience. The friendliness and cleanliness are a constant. It's become a go-to for me. Parking is paid only during the summer months, and you can park on the street. We didn't have to wait because we had reserved a table.

11/06/2026: During a visit to Lecce, we stopped at Caffè della Lupa almost by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. Unlike many crowded establishments in the area, here we found a genuine welcome and helpful, kind, and attentive staff. They didn't just serve us, they also helped us with valuable recommendations for seafood dinners, demonstrating great courtesy and customer service. The puccia was simply spectacular, prepared with quality ingredients and truly delicious. Furthermore, for the first time, I had the pleasure of tasting the famous Lecce coffee: a true discovery that I recommend to anyone passing through. Congratulations for the friendliness, the quality of the products, and the hospitality. A place I will fondly remember and where I would gladly return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10/06/2026: I stumbled upon this excellent place while walking down one of the streets in Lecce's historic center, just steps from the Church of Santa Irene, and I was immediately struck by the atmosphere. Sitting at the outdoor tables, I enjoyed an excellent Lecce coffee paired with a fragrant pasticciotto. The service has always been prompt and attentive, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

19/08/2026: We had a dinner with mussels in pepper, which was a 10 out of 10. Given this, we ordered spaghetti with seafood, they brought us spaghetti with seafood broth, which was most likely made with supermarket preparations, nothing wrong with that, but at least mix them together. After paying, I met the waitress in the dining room (a good lady, congratulations!) who asked me how it went. I told her that the mussels in the first course were not like those in the peppered one, and her answer was that they prepare the ones in the first course first. I don't know.

13/08/2026: Panoramic views and a breezy atmosphere near the sea. Fresh seafood dishes based on local tradition. Excellent mussels, excellent prawns, and not to mention the SAGNE! The professional staff made it a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the evening.

02/06/2026: Disappointing. Some dishes, such as potato croquettes, grilled vegetables, and meatballs in tomato sauce, were okay, but the mixed antipasto was truly bland and the baked potatoes were very poor. The staff was very friendly.

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.
