09/04/2026: Very nice place, clean and with attention to every detail. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. From one to ten, it's a ten for me. I'll definitely be back.

21/03/2026: We had dinner at this truly charming place, with the staff ready to welcome you at the door. The menu is set and includes a selection of appetizers, a first course, a second course, and dessert. Drinks are not included. The appetizers are delicious and beautifully presented. The vegetable tempura is good, the cheeses are excellent, and the veal with tuna sauce is excellent. Paccheri with tomato sauce and Colonnata lard are simple and flavorful, served in a baking dish to share. The second course, suckling pig with mashed potatoes, is also delicious. For dessert, there's chiacchiere with tiramisu cream. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially near the fireplace.

I tried their tasting menu, and every dish was an explosion of flavors and colors. The presentation is impeccable, and the service is friendly and professional. The place is steeped in history, as it's one of the oldest structures in Galatone's historic center, dating back to the 1500s, with frescoes inside the courtyard. The ancient, rustic atmosphere of Lecce stone and carparo stone makes you feel at home. The price is more than reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to try Sascianne. It's an experience that will stay in your heart (and on your palate)!" 😋 I should point out that the negative reviews I've read are due to the old management; the restaurant is now under new management, and the staff is absolutely up to par: friendly, kind, and they make you feel right at home, in addition to the excellent quality of the food and pizzas. 31/10/2025: We stopped by Sascianne for its reopening. We were welcomed by Giovanna and Claudio, two hosts worthy of the name. We ordered an appetizer and ravioli. We'd already won us over with the appetizer, but the lobster ravioli in shrimp ragù absolutely blew us away. Everything was exquisite and carefully prepared, but above all, light and flavorful. We finished with a Nutella panna cotta. In short, we'll definitely be returning to this little restaurant in a truly unique location.
