I tried their tasting menu, and every dish was an explosion of flavors and colors. The presentation is impeccable, and the service is friendly and professional. The place is steeped in history, as it's one of the oldest structures in Galatone's historic center, dating back to the 1500s, with frescoes inside the courtyard. The ancient, rustic atmosphere of Lecce stone and carparo stone makes you feel at home. The price is more than reasonable, considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in the area, don't miss the opportunity to try Sascianne. It's an experience that will stay in your heart (and on your palate)!" 😋 I should point out that the negative reviews I've read are due to the old management; the restaurant is now under new management, and the staff is absolutely up to par: friendly, kind, and they make you feel right at home, in addition to the excellent quality of the food and pizzas. 08/06/2026: Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Salento, featuring fresh, local produce. A top-notch set menu. The portions are generous (don't eat too much before you arrive, as they only seem to be open in the evenings). Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere… this was our second visit, and we'll definitely be back every time we return to the area. Thank you 🙏
