17/01/2026: Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. The service was unprofessional, and the staff didn't seem to be at ease; they were clearly busy and disinterested. As for the food, the dishes were disappointing, and the mussels in particular were rubbery and flavorless, which completely ruined the experience. What a shame!

07/01/2026: I love everything about this restaurant, and whenever I pass through Castro, I can't help but stop in. In winter, the experience is even more enjoyable, because there are fewer people and the staff, always kind and welcoming, enjoys the more relaxed pace. The two sisters who own it are perfect hosts and make their guests feel at home. We last stopped by between New Year's Eve and Epiphany and enjoyed risotto, seafood spaghetti, and burnt wheat macaroni. This was followed by a generous grilled fish platter, excellently cooked and carefully selected, and a delicious and flavorful mussel and clam stew. We finished with fragrant citrus sorbets. Needless to say, the view from the terrace, directly overlooking the marina, is enchanting!

I was looking for a place to eat in Lecce and was recommended this place, and I had a wonderful meal! 🥰 I had the Chef's reinterpreted Carbonara and some delicious pork ribs with a side of potatoes. 😋 Manuela and her staff will do the rest with their hospitality! ❤️ I won't say any more; the photos will speak for themselves!

02/03/2026: My family and I have been regulars for years. The food and service far exceed the average of other sushi restaurants in the city. The quality of the fish and ingredients is top-notch (the wine selection is also excellent). The staff is truly exceptional: professional, friendly, and extremely attentive to treating each customer with the utmost care. In short, a place where passion and authenticity meet good food is a place I highly recommend (not just for the sushi, but also for the Italian menu). 14/09/2025: We arrived in Puglia yesterday and were hungry. Restaurants here naturally open later than in Germany. Calogero opens as early as 7:00 PM, and the reviews were very good. Absolutely right. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation. If you're looking for a sea view, you've obviously come to the wrong place. But the food is excellent. We had Scottish beef tagliata, grilled and fried vegetables, a pizza, wine, water, a sorbet, and espressos. All of the finest quality. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. Of course, there was also water for our dog. We will definitely visit the restaurant again. Many thanks to the whole team. Continued success. I'll explain why... you don't even get to the restaurant before the waiters rush you, asking you questions, even about a very simple salad plate they ask you how it is... dishes that arrive very quickly without considering the time it takes for the first courses, so you don't know what to eat first... Pizza is awful to say the least, soggy dough, indigestible...

05/10/2025: Magnificent farmhouse just outside Giurdignano, fantastic location. Every time we return to Salento, we can't help but stay at Megalite. The restaurant offers all the local delicacies, the staff is superb, the service impeccable, and the prices are reasonable. Thanks guys! Highly recommended!!!

08/01/2026: September 2025. We're seated in the garden, but unfortunately, pigeon droppings are falling from the "sky" directly onto the table and glasses. When asked to intervene, the solution offered is a napkin strategically placed on the stains, as if the problem were merely aesthetic. Perhaps we underestimate the hygienic implications of pigeon poop? A surreal and decidedly unreassuring experience.

18/10/2025: La Gràmola translated as OASIS OF PEACE 🩵 We'd always heard about this wonderful place until one summer day we went to try it, partly because I was looking for a place for my son's special day. And YES, as soon as I walked in, I fell in love! I went for dinner and the atmosphere was so warm and peaceful. Even though the place was full, as soon as the food arrived, I felt at home... and without thinking twice, I decided to reserve it for that day. Of course, returning during the day changes the atmosphere and it's even more beautiful because this wonderful place is surrounded by greenery, and here I fell in love for the second time. For my son's baptism, everything went great, EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. The excellent traditional dishes, fresh products, and above all the homely atmosphere offered by the owner DONATO, FABIOLA, and her waiters FABIO and LAURA. My guests were delighted with what they ate, the place, and everyone's professionalism, and I... 18/10/2025: Fantastic dinner. We had the full Italian dining experience: appetiser, primi, secondi, and dessert. The wine was fantastic; the pasta and fish courses were perfect and the tiramisu was the best we had in Italy.

24/09/2025: Unfortunately, it was already closed on September 23rd. I found information about it online on Google. We drove there especially and found the doors closed. The scenery is stunning, though, and when it's open, it's sure to be incredibly beautiful.
