12/03/2025: Very kind and helpful waiters, except the owner. Arrogant in an exaggerated way, he looked at everyone haughtily. On Sunday, for a ceremony, we were there for lunch, it was hot in the room, no air conditioning on, and we took the liberty of opening the windows a little, she arrives arrogantly and says "here we do as I say and not as you say", having a business in your hands, certain behaviors must be avoided. As for the food, the starter and first course were good, the second course was the acidic tomato, the swordfish as the second course was bland and poor, but served well.

31/01/2025: Stunning hotel, with a top restaurant, I celebrated my fiftieth anniversary and I received professionalism, hospitality, excellent food and also a lot of availability since they satisfied me with all my requests. We ate very well and more than abundantly. Really great, very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. 101 percent satisfied.

16/03/2025: If you are in a hurry this is the right place for you... We booked a table for 8.30pm in the afternoon, once we arrived after a zero welcome, we were brought the menu and took our order. After a very short time the pizzas are served at the table and literally as soon as we finish the last bite we are asked if we wanted anything else, upon our negative response the bill is brought to the table without anyone having asked for it with a lot of "then I'll bring you the bill so we can seat other people", all this 20 minutes after we sat at the table. Once the NOT requested bill is on the table we continue talking to each other as in a normal outing, already annoyed by the behavior of the dining room staff and, to make matters worse, after a few minutes he comes back putting further pressure by taking the bill pad and asking if he owes us any change... moral of the story we got up and went to pay without anyone asking us how the evening had gone and with literally only the material time to eat the pizza. In many years a similar episode has never happened, this is light years away from catering and hospitality. Ah...there was no one waiting for the table. Average pizza and good value for money.

18/08/2024: My boyfriend and I stayed in this farm, characterized by an enchanting location and very welcoming staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the presence of numerous children made the environment a little livelier than we expected. Furthermore, the possibility for outsiders to access the swimming pool at a very low price has somewhat diminished the feeling of exclusivity that is usually associated with a structure of this type.

16/02/2025: Domenica pranzo a menù fisso. Ottima qualità del cibo e porzioni abbondanti. Antipasto molto vario. Oggi erano ottimi i carciofi e la zuppetta di crostini con fagioli e verdure. In generale tutto ottimo. Come primo le sagne incanulate con sugo di polpette (spettacolo) e c’era anche un risotto. Buonissimo il secondo bombette arrosto e insalata. Prezzi onestissimi e personale molto gentile. Bella struttura in aperta campagna lontano dalla strada e dal caos. CONSIGLIATISSIMO

I have been to this property 3 times, always being able to change the type of room, all comfortable and with attention to the smallest details to the point of not being able to choose which is the best. I returned a few days ago and the setting of the decorations and Christmas atmosphere made everything even more magical. I am lactose intolerant and Masseria dei Monaci is one of the few places where I can have both savory and sweet breakfast thanks to the vast choice, freshly prepared cakes and focaccias, all delicious. I would also like to underline the kindness and professionalism of Mrs Germana, which makes Masseria dei Monaci a place to return to countless times.

28/01/2025: What a fab place. We came and celebrated our 28th Wedding Anniversary here, walking in the dark from Salve, past the cemetery twice to a little oasis where they cook what they grow. Set menu of two offerings per course, with wine and water included for €25 per head. Lovely hostess Fabiana and her Freddie Mercury waiter (his words), cozy atmosphere in a small room with a fire keeping us all toasty and welcoming Italians who allowed a couple of English folks to enjoy a perfect evening. We shall be back and maybe we’ll get our photo on the wall 🤨

28/03/2025: I decided to give 5 full stars and now I will tell you about my experience to make you understand why. We entered the restaurant and the atmosphere was very welcoming, the right choice of furniture, open kitchen and super polite and kind staff. A special mention goes to the super helpful waiters, very attentive to pampering the customer and above all excellent salespeople. As for the food, however, excellent from all points of view, presentation to be praised and the taste of the fish excellent. I want to make one last observation, it was a rainy day when I was looking for a place to eat, I have always eaten sushi but for the first time the taste of the sushi was right, the raw fish did not taste like plastic and the fried food was very light. I conclude by saying that I would return to Lecce just to eat there, congratulations guys and girls of Verdi Experience

18/03/2025: Modern and very interesting place to have the possibility to order sushi and Italian cuisine in the same restaurant. Excellent sashimi and yakisoba, the Angus carpaccio recommended to me by the staff was really excellent, as were the ravioli with burrata. Next time in Lecce I will go back

26/03/2025: Simple place but the air you breathe is wonderful! The staff was very kind and since we were doing the Salento walk they recommended the Pellegrino vegetables! Very good. Also the fish was quality and super tasty! But the icing on the cake was the local myrtle, highly recommended!
