04/08/2024: Despite being next to the colosseum, a very local restaurant. We had the spaghetti with seafood and risotto. The seafood seemed to come from the freezer, but was still very tasty! Tiramisu for dessert is a good choice. Highly recommended!

15/07/2024: Quality products and deserve 5 stars, but the same cannot be said for staff. I order a capucino and they make it with ready-made coffee that someone hasn't drunk. I have to think, I won't be going there for a while. Bar in via Pratignone

24/07/2024: Wonder! I've been out for three minutes and I already want to share this beautiful experience. Passing through, I don't know the area, I stop almost by chance. Elegant, well-kept environment but it doesn't immediately intimidate me thanks to the polite, formal but "delicate" welcome of the girls in charge of the service. A particular menu, it seems complex but every flavour, every ingredient is treated with respect, you can feel every detail. Impeccable service. Those who follow my reviews know that the thing I appreciate most is the smile. I know it's hard to serve, to satisfy different needs, I've been there....but if you serve me at the table with a smile you will certainly make my stay a good memory. So congratulations to the girls as well as to the owner. Two of them took it an appetizer, courgette flowers with ricotta and panko fried anchovies. Spectacular Two seconds Fried rabbit morsels with chips and yogurt sauce Vitello tonnato with caramelized onion and caper flowers A tiramisu A bottle of Valdobbiadene and a bottle of water. 80 euros! Considering the environment, the service and above all the dishes, the quality/price ratio is entirely unbalanced on quality!!! Well done Well done And pleasant. If I really have to make a note it's about dessert, my subject anyway...., The characteristic of tiramisu is the coffee to wet the ladyfingers or sponge cake if you prefer, you couldn't even smell the coffee, so clearly, having already prepared the portions, just add the cocoa and the chocolate flakes to serve, the coffee is wet, but if you have a tiramisu I expect to taste it. The mascarpone cream itself was excellent. Personal taste. 10 and praise in any case

23/07/2024: The restaurant had a rather chilly interior, and surprisingly, the outdoor seating area was closed even though it was a beautiful sunny day. The food was a letdown - the fish and tiramisu were dry, although the parmigiana starter was quite good.

15/08/2024: Restaurant: dining room staff who showed truly excellent courtesy and attention towards the customer (which is increasingly rare to find or in any case not to be taken for granted), ready to satisfy every request despite the place being full. Postcard location with panoramic views of the valley. Quality menu with generous portions. The only flaw is that the room is not air conditioned

15/08/2024: We stayed one night at the property and since we were there we had dinner at the restaurant on Saturday evening. The property is nice and the rooms are also well kept. The only negative note is that since it is summer the rooms are quite hot and an air conditioner (or at least a fan) would be useful. Excellent dinner and service with really friendly staff and a menu with typical local dishes (the first courses are really good). The owner (I think it was her) was very kind and kept a table reserved for anyone staying in the facility. Overall positive experience and convenient location for moving from one place to another.

Senza alcuna spiegazione, senza fornire alternative (se non “venite domani”, peccato che col mio ospite fossi qui oggi). Nulla. Una situazione assurda per un locale considerato tra i top

28/08/2024: Ho cenato al Botinero come regalo di compleanno "a sorpresa", e mi sono trovato benissimo. Conoscevo di fama questo ristorante non tanto per il fatto che fosse di proprietà di Zanetti, ma per la qualità della carne servita, e la fama posso dire che è ampiamente giustificata. Per me era la prima volta da Botinero e - nonostante io sia tifoso Milanista - non si può rimanere indifferenti alla cultura calcistica che si respira in questo ristorante, e il - giustissimo - tributo a Zanetti, un simbolo di correttezza e passione che trascende ogni fede calcistica: Javier è un patrimonio del calcio italiano ed è davvero emozionante vedere i suoi scarpini, le sue foto, i suoi ricordi e il giusto riconoscimento a uno dei pochi Campioni veri con la C maiuscola, indipendentemente dal tifo. Detto questo, il Botinero non è ovviamente solo sostanza: andiamo oltre l'impressionante ed emozionante muro di scarpini originali che occupa un'intera parete e ci troviamo in un locale molto ben arredato, dove le foto di Javier e i vari oggetti da collezione sono ben in mostra ma non opprimono, insomma per fortuna non c'è l' "effetto museo" ma piuttosto una collezione ben integrata in un ristorante semplice, con luci soffuse e arredato con grande gusto, che mette immediatamente a proprio agio. Spicca in modo chiaro la differenza di stile con gli altri ristoranti top di Milano di carne argentina: questo è molto più semplice, easy, accogliente e diciamo che si da molto meno un tono rispetto agli altri, nonostante la qualità sia la medesima, se non superiore. La carne ovviamente è di altissima qualità, le proposte del menù sono varie ma contenute, contando interessanti antipasti, alcuni primi e diversi tagli di carne; noi abbiamo scelto una Ribeye (tagliata di costata senz'osso) di circa 800grammi per due persone, servita con spinaci all'aglio e burro, ottime patate e salse. Le fette di carne, spesse il giusto e rosate all'interno erano qualcosa di eccezionale, anche le parti grasse erano tenerissime e gustose, e la quantità di carne giustificava ampliamente il prezzo di € 95 (in altri ristoranti di pari livello a Milano il prezzo è molto più alto..); abbiamo concluso con un dolce (panna cotta con dulce de leche fatta benissimo) il tutto accompagnato da un Malbec di ottimo livello e con un rincaro non esagerato. Il servizio è stato più che presente, sorridente e gentile, se posso fare un appunto a volte troppo solerte a sparecchiare e con un senso di urgenza e di fretta non giustificato dalla sala, che era quasi piena ma senza commensali in attesa. In conclusione, consiglio caldamente il Botinero, perchè la qualità della carne è di altissimo livello, con prezzi leggermente inferiori ad altri ristoranti simili in città, in un locale accogliente e con un ottimo servizio. E poi fare un tuffo nei ricordi del caro vecchio calcio degli anni 2000 è sempre un piacere..

12/08/2024: Family restaurant founded over 200 years ago (1802). Five people stopped for dinner on Sunday 12 August. We could see that the positive reviews are fully deserved. Excellent product quality, kindness and good service times (considering that the place was quite full). We recommend booking by telephone. Among the dishes we recommend: cold cuts, octopus tentacles with burrata and mixed salad, stew with polenta. Among the desserts: the decomposed tiramisu, good and original.
