15/11/2025: If you're suddenly craving some delicious seafood amidst the Maremma hills, you have no choice. Il Rintocco is the place to be. Excellent wine and a typical Tuscan village setting.

05/07/2026: The fixed menu costs €50 per person. Reservations are required (even up to a year in advance if you have a specific date you'd like to go). The evening includes 10 appetizers, followed by a choice of two or three first courses, a second course, and a selection of desserts with Vinsanto. Everything is carefully curated and of excellent quality. The atmosphere is typical of Viareggio.

05/07/2026: Excellent food and very friendly staff. Set menu for €50 per person: 10 appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses, all fish-based. The place is small, and you need to book months in advance, but the quality is worth the wait.

From the moment you walk through the door, they make you feel right at home, and if you're lucky enough to be served by Jemmat, the experience is simply sublime! 28/03/2026: The I Frati Rossi restaurant was a delightful discovery. For an evening with friends, we chose an excellent seafood tasting menu. The menu started very promisingly with two appetizers: amberjack and salmon carpaccio, artichokes, and bottarga. Next up were seafood and truffle ravioli and grouper paccheri, all delicious. For the main course, a mixed fried platter of shrimp, calamari, fish, and mixed vegetables. Delicious, especially because it was so light! To finish, dessert: meringue and strawberry ice cream. We will definitely be back to try the à la carte menu.

02/07/2026: On the recommendation of friends, we dined at this restaurant, where we were greeted warmly and generously by the owners. We chose a prosciutto ossobuco and a vegetarian dish, both carefully prepared and very uniquely crafted. The ossobuco, in particular, was spiced with paprika and other sauces, which complemented each other in flavor, complementing the delicious caponata. Since the dishes were also generous, we finished with an excellent amaretto pudding to share and two Amari del Capo liqueurs. All for the very reasonable price of €56. Unfortunately, we left the next day, otherwise we would have repeated the experience. Highly recommended.

15/06/2026: I was hoping to finally eat at this place, which I've been craving for a while. Google says it's open Monday lunchtime. We came from out of town specifically to have lunch here and found everything closed. Update the hours.

08/06/2026: We went here to eat because of the many very good reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Anyone who has ever eaten a proper vegan meal (e.g., in a big city) knows that this restaurant can't compete. I had an appetizer that was completely tasteless. The main course was okay, but nothing special. And for that, it was simply too expensive. Yes, they probably use high-quality ingredients, but then they need to season them better. The service was inconsistent. One waiter was overly friendly, while the other had to be reminded that we wanted the menu. If I weren't vegan, I wouldn't eat here.

08/07/2026: Extraordinary food, service and view! 6 people with different orders and each was delicious and served perfectly. The Lemon Risotto was heavenly! The unbeatable view speaks for itself. Unfortunately, we only had 1 day in Capri or we would have returned again. Perhaps the best aspect was that it was quite tranquil away from the hordes that descended upon Capri that day.

The talented chef Salvina manages to bring not only excellent flavors to the table, but the entire soul of Sardinia, passionately showcasing the aromas, colors, and traditions of our land. Each dish tells a story of quality, care, and authenticity. In this place, you can also sense something special and difficult to explain: the presence of Fabrizio De André. It is felt in the air, in the silence, in the landscapes, and in the very soul of this corner of Sardinia that he chose to live, love, and find inspiration for some of his most beautiful songs. It is a discreet yet vibrant presence, which makes the experience even more intense and meaningful. But the value of this place also comes from the entire staff, whose professionalism, helpfulness, and genuine smiles contribute to creating a special atmosphere, where you feel welcomed and at ease from the very first moment. It's not just a restaurant or a place to stay: it's an experience made of authentic relationships, Sardinian flavors, attention to people, and love for what they do. 17/06/2026: They have put together the best staff at Il Falconiere. From start to finish no matter what we were up to, they were professional, sweet, & accommodating. We got eloped here and we have to give Claudia a special shoutout because she is special but literally every employee is special. As is the rooms, the property, and the cooking class.
