The food is for every recommendation, and the menu changes depending on the season. The menu is made up of typical dishes for that region. Parking is public in the nearby streets or in a public garage a few minutes walk away. Reservations are recommended. If you are in Trieste, definitely visit :)

02/10/2025: A pleasant return. I occasionally eat at Cavallino Rosso in Cercenasco. We had dinner for a pleasant family evening. The quality hasn't changed; I remembered a good pizza, and that's exactly what happened. Quality ingredients really stand out. The restaurant is spacious and well-lit, and easy to access. In addition to pizza, you can also order Piedmontese restaurant specialties, which are also excellent. Average prices.

14/10/2025: A hidden gem in the Levante hills. La Zita is always a sure thing: good food, homely service, and reasonable prices. If you're looking for a restaurant where you can eat a wealth of traditional products, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is so homey, it almost feels like entering a private home and being welcomed as part of the family. The highlight of the menu is the exceptional first courses, followed by the Ligurian-style rabbit, very juicy and not at all gamey. To top off the meal, the bill is incredibly low, in contrast to the rest of the restaurant. Excellent value for money.

06/10/2025: This is a true gastronomic adventure right in the "home garage" of Sardinian cuisine! Be sure to book and come—the atmosphere is unique, and there's plenty... so much food. There's no menu here—they just bring you dish after dish, and you won't be able to stop. There are just six tables, two cacti, and a large grill where they cook incredibly delicious suckling pig. This place is all about atmosphere, tradition, and a generously laid table.

21/10/2025: I'm honestly not sure why the Google Map ratings are so high for this place, or why it was recommended by our lodging host. It was one of my least favorite restaurants on our visit to Italy, the food was average - at best. They made a big deal about their squid ink bread sticks, but I found that mine were moldy, yuk. My entree of mackerel was just OK, rather small and not exceptional, the sauces had no particular flavor. My husband liked the sea bream he ordered. The clientele is all visitors, no residents. I'm sure there are better options in Agrigento.

12/10/2025: If I could give the service a 10, I would! I ate at this Greek restaurant for the first time today for lunch. The food was excellent, the price was reasonable, and the waiters were extremely kind, and I must commend them. I'll be back soon.

11/10/2025: Truly delicious! Super helpful and smiling staff, excellent dishes, and a fair price. We had a plain pita bread accompanied by an eggplant salsa and a cod bottarga and pistachio salsa. Then an eggplant with sauce and feta, a grilled goat's cheese with honey, a second course of sheep's sausage with chips, a second course of grilled meatballs and chips, house wine, a honey and cinnamon grappa, and a puff pastry with cream. All for €70 for two and truly delicious. The only downside is that there's no parking; I'd recommend a scooter or other means of transport to avoid going crazy.

18/09/2025: I visited this place with a group of friends. Let's start with the fact that the service is meticulously cared for by the owner, who is very friendly and takes great care and passion in explaining each dish they serve. We took his advice, and for an appetizer he recommended fried mushrooms with turmeric mayonnaise, which, needless to say, were AMAZING. The mayonnaise helps offset the slight flavor of the fried mushrooms, which are so light and delicate that they blend perfectly with the mayonnaise. Then we continued with a first course. I was persuaded to order tagliolini with mushrooms. I was very hesitant because I'm not usually a fan of them, but these were DELICIOUS. Handmade tagliolini made that day and a mushroom sauce that had an incredible aroma. To finish, a lovely dessert, of which there's always room. The price isn't excessive, around €50 per person. Obviously, if you want to add a good bottle of wine, you'll spend a little more, but it's worth it. I always recommend booking because the place is ALWAYS FULL. They also accept dogs and are treated with special care. Another important thing is that the cleanliness is impeccable.
